I can't believe it, I'm sat in a pub near Wembley in tears, literal tears of joy. I watched us get relegated out of the football league, I watched us in all those Conference playoff heartbreaks, I was there for promotion to League Two, League One and the Championship and I was there today

Lifelong Liverpool fan here, but grew up in Bedford, so Luton was really the closest 1st Division team to me back then...absolutely made up to have Luton Town in the Prem!

@@humphreyappleby2847 when i was growing up, i didn't have anyone to take me to a match (although I did manage to get to a Northampton game a couple of times (I was born there). Now I live in the US so obv can't go... Also, grandparents were born up North so a bit of family history (although one was born in Salford!)
Watford supporter here. Honestly I feel like our sacking of Rob and him taking you to the Prem is such a huge slap in the face for us that we deserved. The way our club has been run is a joke and you guys proved it takes passion, heart, & players that want to be there. Wish you the best of luck and hope to see you in a FA cup match next season
As a 30 year long Newcastle fan, watching my favorite team getting relegated twice was so heartbreaking. Yet I have massive respect and love for teams like Luton, who play not for the club only but for the entire town.

I was not expecting Middlesborough to even challenge for the promotion when they were down and out but than comes Carrick and that guy changed everything for Middlesborough and I was so happy for that guy because he is our legend I hope he does wonders and take you back to Premier League this stories are just amazing to watch and see I just love this sport man

I watched the final match here in Greece, that I come from. I am a supporter of Olympiacos btw. Since the start of the match, I was with Luton because the commentators wouldn't stop talking about how you managed playing in the final. How incredible of a journey that was. They also spoke quite a few times about Mpanzu and how he would become the first player to play in every league.
Anyhow, it was an exceptional match, the players were passionate and I screamed like a little girl at the first goal. I got sad later when Coventry scored. Then came the extra time , I was nervous. And then at the penalties shootout you got what you DESERVED.
I watched this video, and got extremely emotional and goosebumps.
YOU ARE PREMIER LEAGUE.
Most of us aren't Luton supporters but ALL OF US are Luton supporters for a moment here. Well done, lads. You've come a long way since United and the FA Cup. Well done!

Around 6 years ago Luton was in league two. I'm a man.united fan but I always followed low league games in England. I was watching Luton's game highlights and I had a feeling they would be in the premier league within 10 years. Damn that's incredible. Good luck in the premier league Luton!

I’m a Bristol rovers fans and have been following yours and our former captain Sir Tom Lockyer since his departure from the gas. Watching him at the euros and at the World Cup and willing him on has been so much fun. But today, watching him go out the way he did, I’ve never thrived for a team to win that isn’t my own so bloody much. What you have given every football league AND national league team is absolute, undefined inspiration. Its phenomenal. I’m so jealous, but I’m so glad that another club of fans get to celebrate this extraordinary achievement. Every football fan can look at this story and smile. Brighton fan here. Wow what a journey you have had! We had a journey as well to the promised land of the premier league. Losing our ground, playing at Gillingham, then an athletics stadium. Promotions, relegations and then a new stadium and play off heartache but we believed and we finally made it! You believed too and you made it! This is why we love Football, this is why we live football. So pleased for you guys. Watched the game in my local in Sussex with a Luton fan. He went through every emotion but the joy on his face at the end was priceless! The same joy I had when we were promoted. Massive congratulations to you all. I am not living in England, I am a die hard football fans, only when I study hard to figure out the historical transformation of Luton Town then in the past few days since they secure their Premier League Status that I start realizing I am loving Luton Town. Their story since 2006/2007 really gets me emotional. 30 points deducted and relegated to Non League Football and fight for 5 years and then promoted, and then promoted and then promoted again, and stay in the Championship for 4 years and win the playoff to promote to the Premier League, how on earth can you not love Luton Town tbh?

Lifelong Arsenal fan living in NYC. My dad moved to Luton after a divorce. I went to a few games with him when I’d visit. Started falling in love with the team, the town and the stadium over the years. Today I watched the final from NYC like I was watching my home team.
