Real hard working people who make the Country tick, Props to Sky for this great video

Nice to see Luton getting their place in shape. For their first foray into the Prem, it'll be worth it and visiting teams only need to know where the pitch is.
erm.... they used to be in the top flight.
@@Akari_Reinhartyes but this is the first time they are in the prem like the comment said
@@Ducberybut thats not being disputed. Original comment even said into prem. Not into top league
@@Ducbery re read the original comment. Premier league. Not 1st division which is currently the prem
Like saying I've never eaten a Snickers, i've only had a Marathon bar.@@Britishgeohistorian
These are the people that keep the premier league going really.. groundskeepers, stadium workers and the builders that keep things in shape day in day out. Great to see them getting some recognition here!
It's great to have stadiums and changing rooms like this for the big cubs to visit, bring some of their pampered players back down to the real world. All the best Luton, your loyal fans and workers.
Will there be enough space for Man United to bring along their hairdressers, manicurists, pedicurists and makeup artists?
Most away rooms are crap in the prem already
@@danielsimpson607watch some of the tours of the stadiums, they are elite
never understood this argument tbh...
most players come from relative "poverty" and they spend as much time on the road at subpar facilities than they do in their own "pampered" facilities anyways.
the argument you made is weirdly only ever made by casual supporters of the sport... odd...
@@chadchaddertonvery fair point
What a gem of home for Luton. Honestly 11.5k nuts fans in a small ground is better than 50k in a big hollow stadium. This has the history, the struggle. It’s beautiful to see. Let’s go Luton!
History and struggle doesn’t win you games does it . I’d take the Emirates or spurs new stadium over this shitbox
shutup you helmet@@bigboymatthew7471
Wish Luton nothing but the best, I remember when my team came up the first time (Bournemouth) everyone thought we'd go down right away stayed for 5 seasons anything is possible.
Incredible work by all. Massive well done to the contractors and the neighbours for daily trucks, noise and construction work. If we stay up or go down, the money has been life changing for the club and the board will invest it to secure the clubs future. COYH!
It’s great to see Luton fans work on their stadium, gives a sense of pride for the club and fans
What an amazing job, can't believe they did that all in 90 days! Well done to everyone involved! Good luck Luton, from a Swindon fan. The Premier League needs teams like us!
Glazer would never…
They spent £90m on Antony though! 🤣🤣🤣
@@GIBBO4182they spent £80-£90 million of the money they’ve made from the club. They never put any of their own money into the club
They didn't have a choice mate
Roof still leaking
Didn't you spend nearly 200M this window 😂
World class video. Props to the team that made it. Loved the musical number in the middle, the candid interviews, the nostalgic nod to the past. Luton are a proper cinderella story, the stuff most of us dream of (or try and replicate in FM).
Relax
Trash ass video*
Very happy for Luton Town, well deserved. Wishing them all the best from Birmingham, Alabama.
Absolutely love these old UK stadiums that have a kind of 'frankenstein' aesthetic of various bits built at different times. Can't stand the new corporate style stadiums that have absolutely no character. Make our stadiums weird again!
one of the reasons I love to check out lower division league football.
proper stadium proper football 😻
Some stadiums have a stand from 1940 Next to a stand from 1980, Next to some benches built last week
I love seeing thay
100%
Couldn’t agree more!
So awesome seeing a team with such a unique stadium like this get into the prem!!
Wasn’t Fratton Park unique? 20,000 who made it feel like there was 90,000 how the top 4 hated coming to Fratton!
@@danielfrostick9927 fratton park was one of my favorite away days. I would love to see Portsmouth back in the premier league
We will 1 day!
As a Watford fan who lived in Luton in the 70's and used to watch them in the old First Division at the Oak Road end I wish them all the best and hope they stay up.
As a Man United fan I wish all the best for Luton. Really do hope they stay in the Premier League.
Imagine Man City in that dressing room 😭😭😭😭
Haaland won’t be able to get in lol
Almost all of those City players are giants 😭
I remember being at Wembley when Luton beat Arsenal in what I think was then the Carling cup final (1988), I'm an Arsenal fan and was in the Luton end at 17 years old. I didn't like them much after that but, over time I grew to like them thanks to a friend. Now I'm really happy for them and their fans. They deserve this and it's a great story.
Littlewoods cup. Hopefully we can start getting some points but it's looking a big ask.
@@hainzy yeah that’s right thank you
Liverpool have been constructing a new stand at Anfield for the last 26 months, it currently sits incomplete without any work being done to it due to the collapse of the construction firm building it 3 weeks ago. Luton have managed to build a new stand ready for the PL in 90 days.
Might be something to do with the company building it going bust......but don't let the truth get in the way.
@@markcf83 Literally said exactly that.
As a lifelong Luton fan it’s great to see so many positive comments on the old girl and our club in general, I hope every visiting fan appreciates for what it is, having said that I hope a lot go home disappointed with their result, we’ll miss the Kenny when it’s gone.
And having Eric as part of your legacy is just wonderful.
I am an arsenal fan and i cant wait to see how our players handle an away trip there. This is why we have to protect our football pyramid and never have a super league !
People don't understand how quickly this was built. Fulham have been building the Riverside stand since 2019 and its still not completely open yet
@@rotimioyemade8179much smaller project tho
Even though they'll probably go down, using that PL money to improve facilities will go a long way for the club's growth and player, youth development. Better use of resources than buying 12 new players hoping to stay up (yes, I know Nottingham did it last year).
Well it worked
They didn't have much of a choice
It’s where your ambitions lye spending 150 million on 30 new players to stay up or spending money on the stadium at a cost of staying in the premier league u have to get your priorities sorted first which ever one u decide to do with the TV money
@@Ian1-be2tbI think you know why
@@Ian1-be2tb new stadium..
Good to see a traditional old stadium being kept but updated And not demolished
Brilliant piece of journalism. Gary Sweet deserves a knighthood. Proper fan.
All the best from New Zealand what a transformation with the new stand.
All the very best for the the rest of season as a supporter for over sixty years thanks to all concerned 😊😊😊
Proper ground, proper club and proper fans.
All the best from a Brighton fan.
As a Luton fan when I was a child this is great to see and I hope it didnt disturb the local residents too much.
This was done in 90 days wow
I wish none but the best to Luton and this stadium has that old school feel to it love it.
Here after Luton held Liverpool at Kenilworth road. The atmosphere in the stadium was amazing.
Who will dare to mock us now with a state of the art stadium like this?!!
Refreshing to see something wholesome, different and uplifting for once in the football world...
Love the character and the old school nature of this stadium, and shame it had to be brought down. Thought it would be protected in some way...
Nevertheless, hope they stay up beyond this season for people to enjoy.
I love theses original grounds, adds so much character and history to the area. Just sucks to see the old girl go and move into a newer facility.
Absolutely LOVE this...great to have these HUGE hearts supporting their beloved club, this is what makes football and the Premier League so great!
Rob Edwards is a class act, too.
I REALLY hope Luton stay up!
Thanks for this...much LOVE from a Gooner...
Cheers!
Only 10 million for all that. Cost 3 million to put a lift only to the first floor of my local college back in 2005.
They have done a great job with the new club pen.
Love insights into stadiums.. this is great!
As a Liverpool supporter I absolutely love this stadium and am soooo excited for us to play here with out travelling Kop. All the best Luton❤
Respect to the people that built it! 🛠 Incredible job! 🙌
So refreshing to see a relatable club in the Premier League.
Proper old fashioned ground. Just don’t see them anymore. Love it 👍
I'm not a Luton fan but I hope they can, somehow, stay up.
Coming from a hammers fan. It’s nice to see owners use the money to improve facilities for the fans. looking forward for Luton to hopefully stay up and knock Everton down to the championship
they dont have a choice. the changes are forced
Big clubs don’t go down that’s why wetspam are tinpot
This is truly what English football is about! Some massive iconic football clubs, and then clubs like luton town! I’m so happy for them and hope they do well and stay up. From non league to prem in 9 years is the stories that I watch football and have fell in love with this sport.
Lived in luton all my life.. good to see them in the premier league
Might be most beautiful ground to be witnessed nowadays
i remember the old bobers stand before the millwall game in 1985 and it had seats that were ripped out they replaced the stand with mainly directors boxes that looked like double glazing and looked just silly now the new bobers stand looks great
Imagine working the night shift trying to sleep during the day living right next door. 😂
What a club, nice to see they are getting ready for premier league, welcome and all the best to them 🩵
Dirty money has ruined the beautiful game of football. As a big Wednesday fan, having lived in Luton for the last 20 years I’m proud of the success of LTFC.
I just wish the owners of the clubs that wanted the European super league enjoy having the reality of real football clubs.
Proper well run Football club v the vile money of the PL.
Great little piece. Nice work Sky!
It’s smart that Luton are planning for the future, wish them all the best.
Loved the trips to Kenilworth Road to watch Luton vs Stevenage back in their League 2 days, a proper stadium with years of history.
Can't wait for West Ham to be the first team to visit this new look stadium. Got a feeling it's going to be a great game. COYI
i feel like all eyes are on luton and it’s so exciting to see this team competing in the top flight i hope they give us a show this season! i want them to remain in the premier league
Haha they won't get top flight
interview room? that looks like a holding cell
Going to be great to watch the games there
Absolutely love these old school stadiums
Absolute gem of a stadium - proper old school and something that’s missing in the Prem.
Good luck Luton fc and its fan s great to see you back home and in the prem, enjoy the ride 👍
Going to look fantastic in the championship come end of season.
I am rooting Luton from my heart. Lets go
This was actually soo interesting
Fair play to them. Hope they stay up.
Whilst I love all the work done, I still hope once, as a joke and maybe at the end of the season, they do a TV segment inside one of the fans’ houses with a cuppa in hand.
Like Wrigley or Fenway. Old stadiums with old quirks. Love to see it
What a charming club. Will be keeping an eye on them.
The English Heritage in football is astounding wow 😯 this is a typical example it's like time travelling
This is the most beautiful Premier League Ground 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾Shoutout to Luton FC. From 🇿🇦
Love it! It’s why English football is the best in the world!! Best of luck Luton!!!
This is a beautiful video. 👏
As long as it can hold the sound of the fans, it will do a job in making other teams feel uneasy. Similar to how Liverpool and Celtic have their stadiums where the sound just goes from end to end.
upgrades are looking good, easy part now is playing the matches, bring it on
6:58 “I don’t care if people think it’s unfair or if I-I-I-its a tough place to play” trust me my boy nobody saying that😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣💀
Great video. Hope you stay up.
those interview rooms 😄🤣🤣
Gary Sweet was in the BBC's fly-on-the-wall doc about John Gurney's short lived disaster with Luton in 2003. That with relegation to non league, he's a proper football man who like this club, deserve their time in the limelight
Going to look lovely in the championship next season
Really hope luton have a good season
Wonderful job Gary Sweet et al!! 🧡
What a fantastic stadium.
Incredible work by all COYH
That's a nice new stand!
Incredible job
Hope they stay up 😊
Good luck to luton....hope you give it a good ol go
will be a great addition to the championship next year
Looks like great work. However as a Southampton fan I can’t believe our stadium is a division below haha
incredible to think just 10 years ago they were playing a fifth consecutive season in non-league with the likes of steve mcnulty and alan white playing for them
A truly Dreamland Football Story! Go Hatters Go!!
That's definitely progress.
Absolutely love this
Nicely done😊
Smart investment including their recruitment, even if they drop back down they're cementing themselves as a team in the top 2 divisions
I hope to one day make a trip to the Kenny for a premier league match.
And what they’ve done to the bobbers is exactly what I said they should have done in the 80’s when they proposed building executive boxes.
Put them on top of the bobbers stand not instead of.
Man I still can’t believe they’re in the premier league. I live in Toronto and I remember following them when they were a non league. That wasn’t even that long ago.
They should keep it as it is its rlly cool
they cant premier league have separate rules to efl
even if they get relegated, its been a huge achievement for luton and you guys get a nice new stadium funded :)
