My Son's have been helping me for years with our TH-cam videos and this time we tried something rather different on this true automotive treasure. We used several different cameras a drone and our trusty I Phone as well as various other equipment and this time we also played around with the placement of various microphones. There is still some amateurish wind-noise and a few hush spots but we like the idea of changing things up a bit and going for a different effect, especially on such a unique and special vehicle. Let us know if you like this format and we will continue to try and make improvements as we learn the trade. As soon as the Bring-A-Trailer auction goes live, I will update the description above with a link to the auction. Best of luck to everyone, Bill Noon
Sounds like the engine still needs some work. I'm not a Mechanic, but it sounds like somethings wrong with the engine. Even my dad, who was a mechanic, would agree. Beautiful car though, and one that's on my classic car list!
Sorry George but I only agree that you are clearly not a mechanic.. This Lancia just left Competition Motor Ltd., and Boldasari Automotive where it was fully inspected, serviced, new tires fitted and compression checked with perfect results on all cylinders. I have put more than 40 trouble free miles on the car over the past six months with zero issues. I think you are hearing noise from a variety of different microphones and sound pickup devices we placed around, inside andoutside the car for a different effect this time. That and a few potholes but the motor is sound as a pound and will give nothing but endless trouble free miles for her next fortunate caretaker. Kind regards, Bill Noon
Maybe a professional sound person can comment but sounds to me like microphone reverb from more than 1 microphone being on when in the cabin, nothing to do with the car - The external drive by’s confirm that. Always good to try new ideas but they don’t always work!
Hi Clive, no, running like a champ on all six and with perfect compression on all cylinders. Wickedly fast and just gobs of low-end torque! The off-noises form time to time are from using some experimental placement of the microphones at different times and in different places. Watch the entire video to see the changes in the different driving sequence. Kind regards, Bill Noon @@clivewinstone3078

Glorious..... just glorious... do you mind if I ask what colour that is? Looks blue in some lights and green in others. Thanks for the video 👍
Silver-Green Metallic and yes, it changes color depending on the lighting in a magnificent way! Kind regards,
Bill

@@billnoon5658 thanks for the reply, like I said, I'm not a mechanic, so I guess I was wrong. Sorry about that
I agree. Running on 5? Sounds coarse
