Hi, there are many fail safes to ensure that the keyless system is safe, the car won't lock unless it knows the key is on the outside of the door. You cant start the car unless the key is in the car and the car will also prompt you if the remote battery is low. In the event, the key battery fails you have a cut key 🔑 in the back of the remote to access the car.
@Ferntree Gully Nissan thanks for a quick reply.. I know that the acenta model got the key entry but tekna and n connecta only keyless.. im after 1.6 petrol n connecta 2018
My key fob randomly stops working and on the dash it says connect key with a signal sign.. I took it to timpsons to get battery changed and they said battery is fine as they tested the signal with their own device.. the fob works and then randomly it stops working.. what could that be?
I also read this somewhere, “An explosive new support document published by Apple is reminding users to keep their iPads and Apple Pencils separated from car key fobs. The company says interference is preventing the fobs from working with users' cars, making this one of the first glitches to leap from the digital world into the real one.”
Omg, it works. Thanks
Is there a way to unlock an x-trail that has locked the keys inside the car??
Just got battery changed in the key fob , key unlocked the door but I can’t lock an unlock car now with key fob
Is it safe to own the car with keyless entry these days ? Can we disable this function?
