Nope still not dead I saw like 31 a380s in madrid international airport and they sure still flew but sad thing is will stop flying completely in 2025 I think still its still flying dont be sad but the sad thing is its slowly fading away emirates just sold there first a380s but they will sure stay in our hearts but maybe airbus makes another better version of the a380 maybe more fuel efficient and smaller payments maybe that would make another four engine double deck aircraft stay alive

Thanks for the review. I flew A380 from SF to Barcelona a few years ago. Loved it! I too, was disappointed at the news about the discontinuation :-(
A380 is one of my Favourite Aircraft & it was the very first aircraft i took with my late dad he too was a big fan of A380 Aircraft's .
Being an older Gurrrl, the 707 and DC-8 hold very special corners of my ❤️. Next up is the Queen ... and I fly several times a year LAX to Europe to visit my siblings so I try to fly on her as much as I can (favourite seats 1A or 1K). Safe travels Brian 👍🏻

How can I redeem Alaska Miles for Emirates. I did try from LAX-DEL but it is mixed cabin. I don't mind a shorter trip but do want to try First Class
Have only ever travelled on Air France A380's and only in Business Class but prefer the 777 due to not all being 2-2-2 seating config. Food and wine as usual is excellent. Glad I went on the 380 before its demise

I prefer Emirates A380❤️🇦🇪(but I secretly prefer their 777 suite)
I was also saddened because of the discontinuation of A380. But Airbus is getting very creative with Airbus A350s!
I liked A380s but I start Hating them this Year. It's Rivals Got scrapped. Boeing 777X, Uncertified yet but I am obsessed with the 777X!

Flew Etihad First Apartment last week Abu Dhabi to Paris and London to Abu Dhabi and both had caviar service (20g Oscietra from a tin). The rest of the meals were all sub-par unfortunately.
Did you have an onboard chef? Glad to hear caviar is back
@@BrianKelly Yes there was an onboard chef who took our orders and preferences on both flights. Love your videos Brian!
Caviar is back for at least a year now. I flew in September and also in April this year and was served both times. And yes onboard chef was there and you can ask them to prepare anything for you.
Memorial quote I made for A380: The A380 has been a part of our lives since it first flew in 2005. Since then, it flew many flights and carried millions of people. The plane was very popular and we all are sad to see it go. Today, we remember the world’s largest passenger plane as we say our last goodbyes. The A380, even though it is retiring, will always be a part of our lives and a part of the history of air travel.
I don’t think the 380 is going to around as long a people think on most of the operators. Many are well into plans to phase it out as soon as realistically possible.

No there’s only one residence on the plane and several normal apartments

The A380 is an acquired taste
For seats, Emirates is the winner, not Singapore. Its newly configured a380 was unveiled in 2020!

Hah even the the thought of it still being around is funny in the pandemic. I don’t know if y’all heard but airfrance is in the middle of scrapping their entire a380 fleet. There is only 1 goat in the aircraft industry and that is the 747; long live the queen

B747-8 :)
A332 (as it's smaller than the a333) all the way! I like the fact that, even if you travel as a couple in economy, not only business, you can get the 2 seats close to the windows (as they're usually 2-4-2 config; seen cebu has 3-3-3 but that's a different story). I like it better than a340 or b767 as it's also newer, quieter and feels more modern (usually)! Have not jumped on the a339 yet but hopefully soon and that will probably be my next favorite once it happens! What do you think about the a330?
A 380 SQ First class
I like the Lufthansa A380 in First Class. While they don't have a shower in their bathroom, they do have a urinal (they are possibly the only airiline that has this) where male travelers can urinate into after drinking many glasses of champagne! I also like the car ride from the First Class Terminal in Frankfurt all the way to the aircraft.
Oh, the 747. That first row in first class. Love flying below and ahead of the cockpit.

I love the Emirates A380. Only comment on the Dubai lounge. You are told first class passengers have a fifteen minute complementary treatment open the spa. I do wonder if they have any staff on duty as on my last two flight I was told you had to pre book, as in nothing was available. Disappointed.

The one and only things that matters is seating, how can Emirates win with that outdated and cramped first class seat. The new business class seat on Singapore Airlines is better than Emirates first class seat on the A380.
Singapore Airlines is a clear winner
Singapore Airlines seats (even the First) are hard as a stone to sleep on. EK seats are narrower, but softer.
