SPOILER I mean, he has the idea of combining his love for space and music. And the satellite that was supposed to contain his drones, kinda got wrecked by Kliff
I feel like he was intended to be a dick. Spoilers Him being the first boss sets the tone of the game how NSR is bad and should be overthrown. Then it's subverted with the redemption arc for both the player and NSR. If it was someone tragic then the game would have been started with a different tone. It was also about self importance or something like that. Playing gives him meaning in the world. Without music he would just be insignificant and meaningless.
@CactusGuy Truly tragic. Imagine having your dreams crashing down on you in front of thousands of people. The thing that was suppose to “eternitize” humanity would end up bringing it’s destruction. I cri every time.
To be fair, it's slightly implied that he suffers from a superiority-inferiority complex, feelings of loneliness and existential dread, making him somewhat of a lighter version of Eve.
@Christa Hutagalung I liked my comment so that others wouldn't have to do. I will now have to take my own life, in accordance to the rules of Bullshito. Promise me to remember, Christa-chan... That the difference between a mere glory-seeker and a true hero is sacrifice. Farewell, my friend.
I just realized that Eve threw the paint on the same side of her skin condition. I suppose she felt like a freak but made her condition into art. Which is cool but sad.
So, I think DJ isn't just a bastard. I think he was struggling with a feeling of emptiness and he assumed that it was because he was meant for better things, so he tried becoming a musician, and throughout his entire career he's been struggling with that same feeling of emptiness and just assumed it was because he hadn't accomplished his big milestone. Maybe that satellite he was sending out into space was another attempt to make himself feel less empty.
I think that's alot what makes me relate. His entire boss battle is basically beating you over the head with how massive the universe is and how impossible it is for anyone to matter... except him, of course. Because clearly, he's famous and that should matter, right? *Right?* Like, the last stage or so is him hanging on desperately by a metaphorical black hole and you pelt him with stuff while he's down. Heck, think the man (if he is a man, I guess. /Shrug) looks like he has a whole built up false or cybernetic torso just to hide where his likely actual head is. Truly, this man is a veritable Gas Giant. All hot gas and flashy colors but who knows where his surface lies...
So Eve has a skin condition. In the first video, she was trying to cover the pink side up with make-up. Poorly. You can see the faint split in the middle of her face, and her ears and hand are still pink. By the time she met Zuke, she felt confident enough to show off the other side of her. I notice that when she turns her head, the white side always faces the camera more. In her boss battle, she puts Mayday in the more chaotic pink side while Zuke is in the relatively calmer white side. When Zuke confronts her and she lets out her true feelings, it's in a void white room. It seems she's self-conscious of her pink side, and associates it with the worst of her.
I'm more inclined to think it's her trying to cover it up, then feeling more confident in herself when she met Zuke, which is why she freely shows her pink side after that. But either way, whether it was her condition growing or her covering it with make-up, it still means it's something Eve's self-conscious about.
I love how Zuke looks a bit frustrated and tired, makes me think that he was really trying for things to work because he really cared for Eve, but he was getting tired of pretending that he could be what she was looking for to make her happy. I'm glad they got to talk in the game, hope they can at least be friends again.
@@joshuasmith2486 Well, maybe there isn't a other half for her, and that isn't a problem. Like you said, she need friends to talk to and I hope she got back yo talking with Zuke, and maybe even Mayday. Maybe have their help in making some cool art! Maybe even hang out with Tatiana to just talk.
@@MaskOfLimbo I meant in the far future but I completely agree. Maybe in the next game (if they make one) She could even be part of the team. Well, maybe they all will.
@@joshuasmith2486 I find nice imagining she hanging with them. Chilling on their sewer (something she definitely be uncomfortable at first, since it is a sewer), she trying Aunties burgers, playing music together, making art together, etc. It's... Nice to imagine :)
Love the small detail with Sayu's backstory that the "Lukisanart" page interface changes slightly with each thumb drive like the site was updated and changed over the years.
Any name symbolism in "Luisan" is probably unrelated to Sayu's creators' names, because that's just the website that's hosting their work (like DeviantArt ir Imgur or Photobucket or Instagram). Their actual names are stated in the final website picture where Tila drew a picture of all of them (she can draw a little but Remi's clearly the main artist). Although the names might just be online handles. (Tila is the voice actress and singer, Remi is the artist, and assuming they're in order, Dodo is the editor while Sofa is the mocap actor)
I really wish Tatiana’s history showed her old albums or some kind of photo book of her band. It’s cool showing her tyranny over the city, but the entire game already shows that.
@@smashinglabu3942 maybe the plot of the sequal could focus on reassembling the ghoolies and unveiling their backstories to discover the history of the band
I think Tatiana's should have been three pictures. One of Kul Fyra when the Goolings where together and you can see thier happy and dressed similarly with vinyl city behind them. 2nd, same people as the first but now there's an obvious distance between them all plus vinyl city behind them looks pretty bad 3rd, Tatiana with Eve celebrating the first day of her album release. She was the one who helped put NSR on the map, so vinyl city's lights are brighter but not complete. Mabye Kliff is in the first two pictures, as it's a group pic for a fan. He's got the same smile and upbeat look on his face in both pictures since he's completely unaware that his favorite band is not happy together.
I love how everyone (both heroes and villains) represents the darker side of the music genre, with the main characters acknowledging how they’re one of the worst kind of musicians (breaking down others to reach their goals). No one is completely a good guy here, despite how charismatic some can be.
Sonic Cody Like I said, the main characters (Mayday and Zuke) acknowledge how they’re one of the worst kind of musicians. The kind that purposefully breaks others down to reach their own goals. That isn’t to say that they’re the only bad musicians, but they are still bad from a moral standpoint.
@@ravenfrancis1476 Nah, that's more like Kliff, seeing as he was obsessed with destroying NSR because Tatiana/ Kul Fyra 'abandoned' him when she stopped playing rock
Azure the Wolf I mean Mayday and Zuke are ultimately hijacking non-rock concerts and assaulting the musicians to the point where they physically cannot play music anymore, and then forcing rock onto everyone.
Sayu: The story of 4 teens combining their talents to create an entire experience of art. Yinu: The story of a child prodigy and her overprotective mother changed by the abscence of her father. Neon: The story of a toymaker turned soldier turned music manager. Nadia/Eve: The story of a girl with huge self-esteem issues struggling to find someone to make a connection with. DJ Sub: lol niel degrasse tyson turned music man
DJ Sub was an unappreciated university professor who was afraid he had hit his prime without ever being truly heard. After an existential episode, he quit and began his music career. His existential crisis caused a lasting depression he forces onto others based on his fear of mortality.
So, 1010's first collectable is a fashion girl figure, which was the typical design for this kind of product. However, the tag mentioned that this figure is rather dull for a modern fashion doll, which implied 1010 may not be doing well back then. Then the war began and fashion doll is no longer the trend, 1010 began to sell collectable soldier figure. The tag specifically mentioned that this one is made from scratch, this might implied that J-1 was either skilled enough to create his own figure model, or he's running out of sources and had no choice but do things by himself. And finally, 1010 became the well-known idol group, and this branding development made the collectable selling quite well. It's also worth mentioning that the whole idol thing began during postwar era, when everything just began to rebuild from ruins, and people were exhausted and looking for emotional comfort. It was an era that people were depressed from war but still looking forward for new hopes from the recreation and social progress, and idols were there to cheer up everyone during such a hardship. Part of the reason why fans insisting idols to "stay pure" is because they were hold as a spiritual symbolism at some point. The birth of boyband 1010 might due to people's desire for emotional comfort after war, and J-1 found this opportunity to rebrand his products. Though I believe J-1 also created boyband 1010 because he also needed an escape from his war experience. In the end of day, 1010 went from a not-doing-so-well small business to the hottest thing in the market, and J-1 successfully created a new brand and made himself a fortune as a veteran. But is this what he truly wanted to achieve when he made his first toy? We'll never know. Let's just hope that he's able to find himself again after defeat.
Late response but i think you read the tags wrong, the first one says "the collectable figure toy was made upon imported fashion dolls" and the second one clarifies that because of the war the importation stopped so he made the new ones from scratch
Was confused about Yinu's origins at first, but after a closer look, I saw that tube of the father's hand, and his photo on the piano, and I am literally dying inside
DJ: A lonely man who struggled with self-worth and emptiness and became an egotist who thinks he's the centre of everything Sayu: a small dream project by a handful of people that grew into a global phenomenon, but also a soulless sellout Yinu: A little girl and her mother who wanted to honor her father, but their ambition and fame made them lose themselves. It's only when nothing was left but the piano that they remembered why they loved music in the first place 1010: A kind cyborg that wanted to protect people and make them happy by making dolls, but in the end said dolls only served NSR and their wallet Eve: a woman who struggled with expressing her emotions due to her low confidence and self-loathing and wanted desperately for someone to treat her the way Zuke did. To tell her that its alright for her to love herself for who she is instead of who she thinks she should be. Tatiana: a retired rocker legend who abandoned rock after her band disbanded. Instead of trying again, she chose to rule with an iron fist destroying the hope of others in the process. She chose financial success in exchange for her passion due to fear. The fear of realizing that the Goolings didn't disband because of Rock, but because of her own poor leadership. She took everyone's ideas into consideration, but as the lead member it was her duty to make setstone decisions. But she couldn't , cause she had no clue what she was doing and despite Rock having "... no future in any ambitious work" , she kept her guitar and her old Goolings stage in her office. In other words, she buried her guilt and blamed rock instead Edit: I noticed that on the magazine covers, as they go along, the image of Tatiana gets progressively darker and more menacing. Implying that , as her success grows, she straying further down a dark path. Kliff: A diehard fan who felt entitled to Fyra's appreciation and felt betrayed when she betrayed a music genre they both loved
DJ Sub: Summary of a guy who want everyone to knowing/notice how wise , how smart he is. Ending up becoming a guy who think that everything is "orbit" around him. He is the center of everything. SAYU : A wholesome story of a teenage kid who have a dream of making their fantasy character becoming real. Same as many artist who want to see their "son/daughter" becoming real. (from manga to anime) The problem is the other don't see Sayu as "daughter" like they see, the company see her as a "product" for profit, and the "Parents" allow them to use her because they want her to become "Real". Yinu : A sad story behind heartwarming photo of a father who teach his daughter to love the music thought piano and pass away due to illness. A daughter and mother still keep playing the music to remember the one who lost. But the more achievement and the more fame their got, the more forgotten of the answer for the question "Why I playing music?" is lost. And the answer is lost in the wood for both of them. 1010 : Toy-maker man who want the "objective" for his life and that "objective" is to make everyone "smile" first he make a village girl doll for the children and the girl he once loved. Now the war have come and he must protect his country and their smile, so he fight the war and make a soldier doll for the kid to keep the smile and give it to the soldier when they are back for war. During the war he got to believe that "the order" is reach to "the victory", and "the victory" is reach to "the people smile" . After the war he lost his life but get resurrect as a cyborg. He got new order, this order is not fighting the war but to make music that make money for the company and make people smile , but that smile is not the truly "happy smile" he want anymore. EVE : A tragic story of a girl who hate herself because she think she is not perfect, not complete until she find someone who she believe to be her "other half". In the time with the "other half" she feel "completed" and happy while the other one is feeling out of place but he keep trying to make their relationship Until she cross the line and make her other half hurt, broken and never to be recover again. In that time she truly don't know why her other half left her because of the thought of "You are my other half ,Yeah! you must understand me" and when zuke is not seeing in that way she just "well maybe he is not my other half". She feel uncompleted again and that begin her search again for her "other half" her "ADAM". Tatiana : The CEO who become more and more ruthless and dictate in each magazine and fully control the music market company to allow only EDM music type. (tbf her collectible didn't tell anything about her past during rock time at all)
Supernova: Blinded by ego, unable to see the people who really helped him. Sayu: A small passion project snowballing into a global icon with infinite demand. Yinu: A family without a father. Mother's fears and pride for her daughter corrupts her. Eve: Suffering from a personality disorder, she idolized Zuke as the only person that understood her. Without him, she has used her art district as an attempt to find more people that understand her, with no success. 1010: A Toy manufacture that progressed into a boy band manufacture. Originally intended to help in the event of border wars, now the robots only serve NSR's wallets. Tatiana: Once a big part of rock, hostilities broke up her band and lead her to denounce rock and focus on building vinyl city with EDM, in ruthless fashion.
That would explain why J-10 always built these dolls to robots and speaks of a war when you defeat him. Also he states he is a cyborg which now makes sense more than ever.
@@kingofroses302 I find the 1010 story very interesting because the first doll was made with imported fashion dolls and it is reflected by it's design. the second doll? The Border War has cut off his supplies, so he has to make them from scratch. The navy design is reflecting both his patriotism and the current times. Then the 1010 comes out after the war has ended, the boys wear sailor outfits but they're all colorful and their personality is all about having a good time and making people happy. It should also be noted that I found with a quick google search on accident, 1010 has some spiritual meaning behind it, "angel number 1010": either "moving towards a higher purpose" or "to keep in good spirits in both good times and bad", which I don't think is unfair to attribute to J-1's and the 1010 boy band's character.
Even by desing, every boss is symbolic of something and that amazes me DJ Super Nova: The black hole in his head represents how void his actual mind is. Sayu: she's a mermaid because her whole being it's based on the fantasy of an artist. (Just like vocaloid) YInu: the flower motive represents her blooming talent as a pianist. 1010: Neon J Sonar like head it's meant to represent managers ability to search for young handsome boys that appeal to females audiences. Eve: The colors that compose her represent the two aspects of her life she can't bring together (Her artistic values and her love life). Going a step further that same duality can be applied to the strugle most artists face in having a public life and a personal life.
And Tatianas skin looks like cooled down lava to represent her repressing of her old life, and don't get me started on her third phase look and the stage in the background
Not egotistical. He feels empty. He wants to make an imprint on the universe, because in the grand scheme of things, he's insignificant, and he wants a purpose So he combines the two things he loves, space and music, to find that purpose.
@@joshuasmith2486 Eve slapped the paint brush in his face, and no I did not see that normally. Had to slow the video down and even now that I know how it happens, seeing it in normal speed is still bizarre.
Eve: zuke come here for a sec Zuke: uhh.. yeah sure Eve: I'm thinking of illuminating your hair with bright lights, so may i? Zuke: umm.. yeah ok sure Eve: *pulls out a lighter*
I like how they made the competition humans, they all didn't mainly think of fame, they all started small and only wanted to work on themselves, they built their lives around music because it connected to them, but little by little they began to lose vision of what they actually wanted. Soon they became self centered and only focused on their careers, Piyu became a role model golden child, Sayu's creators became corporate robots, Eve became troubled by her relationship and tried to force people into understanding her taste and only became desperate when she saw no one seemed to see the meaning that she intended the music to have, 1010 became every girls dream and the creator lived in luxury, and Tatiana was too much into "improving the city" and almost never let new music have a chance as she thought it would destroy her empire of perfection. It's like they say "You either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain"
@SpiritusC not just anime could be anything. A sequel, prequel, expansion, just don't stop a good thing. Look at helltaker. Roughly 40 mins of gameplay TOPS. And everyones obsessed with it. Yes because of rule 34 but the comics and more make it simple fun to see more of.
Not gonna lie, I really like DJSS, there’s just something about his talk of emptiness that I can relate to, trying to seek or accomplish something for yourself, to prove it to yourself. I’m not really sure but his character and story just draws me in.
No, 1010 has a darker side. Who was once a toymaker became a weapon maker during a war. That's why there is a navy theme with 1010, they are living weapons repurposed as a boyband to bring happiness to a post war vinyl city Sayu is not as dark, but still not a super happy turn of events: being a passion project of internet strangers united over a common goal, now bought by a company (who keep in mind is controlled by tatiana) and putting these teenagers in a political world they were not prepared for
DJ: Constant Existential crisis 2, IN SPAAAAAAAAAACE! Sayu: Weebs unite Yinu: Literally just modern Hollywood child actors 1010: Navy PTSD BTS robo-soldiers Eve: Craxy ex, now with extra arms
I actually believe that her skin condition doesn’t turn all of her half pink. That it is actually just the amount shown in the first picture. She is clearly hating her “ugly” side when she is throwing paint at the side she want to cover up. Thats why she used make up/body paint to cover her skin condition, while making it look fabulous.
@@brageohm7382 Yea, at one moment you can see the undersides of the palm of her hand and it's completely pink. She probably didn't bother putting the white make-up there.
So Subatomic Supernova wishes to feel more significant in the ever expanding cosmos and hopes to be appreciated. Sayu was born from an accidental art collab that forged a new group of friends Yinu learned the piano from her dad who died from an illness so now the piano reminds her mother of happier times together. Neon J was a toy maker who I think was drafted into the navy. He did and experienced some pretty terrible stuff if his post-fight monologue is anything to go by, and figured he’d try and go back to what he loved, toy making. He’d take it further by having his dolls perform for millions in his band. Eve seemed to hate herself fo being so different from everyone and even tried covering up her natural pink skin with makeup. When she met Zuke she felt she had finally found a kindred spirit who understood her vision. Even stopped putting on that coverup leaving her pink skin for all to see. But Zuke felt overwhelmed in their relationship. While he loved her, he just couldn’t quite keep up with her vision as much as he thought and setting his hair on Fire was the final straw. It’s a clear sign that the devs went the extra mile when they give such depth to the bosses.
Just noticed that the name DJ Subatomic Supernova reflects his nihilistic viewpoint that everyone around him, including himself are specs of dust in the sands of time, and he wants to do something so amazing even if it isn't recognized across history, or is even forgotten. A Supernova on a subatomic level if you will.
Really, It feels as if DJSS had been passionate about space before hand and tried to speak about it towards students that never really cared due to how much it blended in with his deep-rooted anxiety of being inconsequential in the grand scheme of things
This may be a weak theory but I feel as if the dj is very doubtful about his life and doesn’t want to admit it he claims to not care for fame but he wants something of him to be remembered to give him worth like if his words actually have merit.something to prove he wasn’t wasting his time...
zalost of integrity that’s valid besides he can admit when someone deserves credit ( b2j near the end) and probably knows that he’s a jerk not to really put anyone down but to show that he can do things others can’t
@zalost of integrity i absolutely would not compare dj with elon musk since once very important detail is that for all of his ego and potential misguidings: all of djs accomplishments are his own. he came from a tiny town and was an educator where very few people listened to him and as he turned towards music and rose to fame, everything he accomplished was his own. hes not a rich man from a rich family who pays others to do things that he takes the credit for. if you want an example of someone in the same field as musk, i think the perfect example would be the namesake of his portable bomb manufacturer: tesla
@@kellis9351 Okay, as much as I appreciate the massive push Tesla contributed toward electrification, that 'portable bomb manufacturer' comment actually made me laugh my ass off. Can we also add 'pseudo-Apple' to that? Because Tesla's kind of become the Apple of the car industry in a very not-good way.
I think his high ambition is due to his feeling of somewhat emptiness and he wants to make himself feel complete by doing something big, like he wants his music to reach the corners of the galaxy and the galaxy is *huge*
8:13 I just read from a different comment that this was when she lit his hair on fire. Just goes to show that this relationship wasn't right for them if she had no idea he was hurting.
I see everyone's speculation on Eve's self image issue and fear of loneliness. They're valid, but the thing is… I don't think Eve actually see Zuke as equal, more like an extension tool for her artistic expression. An assistant who won't complain whatever eccentrism she comes up with and follow it precisely through the end. "Remember when I was the tectonic plates and you were the sea? The heat we channeled when your waves broke upon my earth was euphoric. We were untouchable!" That was…all in her head. If that's not self satisfactory I don't know what is :/ She called setting someone's hair on fire as "illuminating it with bright light", and everyone in the comment section just conveniently brush that aside and treat it as comic relief like it's no big deal??? You don't express your eccentricity by putting someone else's well being below yours. And Eve's nonchalance of "YoU're StiLL uPseT aBOut ThAt?!" How is that not red flag for anyone with good amount of self preservation?? Like girl set urself on fire if u wanna channel ur art expression, that was the last straw for Zuke and I don't blame him for running away. One might argue he should've confront her instead of disappearing, but like, she's borderline possessive man, doesn't look like someone who take rejection well. So I guess his cowardice is well justify?? Both are not faultless while Eve just happened to be the abuser. She abused and groomed Zuke for her own artistic need, at the same time plague herself with dependency on others. Still like her design tho, for character analysis is fun to dissect her duality.
Finally! Someone who sees that she is a very toxic friend/partner, esPECIALLY how she straight up said to Zuke in the boss battle, "You were nothing before you met me!" or something like that. She reminds me of an ex friend of mine who treated someone I care about the same way Eve treated Zuke, and I guess that's why I can't really bring myself to like her as much. Interesting character, but hits a little close to home.
When people talk about Eve they NEVER talk about how toxic she was for some reason. Yes she is relatable and she did see something in Zeke (because he actually understood her and most likely actually cared about her as a person (unlike West)) However there was just alot of red flags because she still had that (everyone else is just sheeple mentality ) Zeke was willing to over look that until she... lit his hair on fire. Hell im surprised he said he was a coward for running away that night. I'm sorry, People who say they see themselves in Eve is like saying you see yourself in Rick Sanchez, wtf is wrong with people?
Honestly I am convinced she has some kind of bipolar disorder, she seems during the fight to have lots of kinda-manic episodes, ESPECIALLY with Mayday, and near the end where she just falls down, not doing anything, waiting for something to happen in that white void thing. Either that, or narcissistic, since they get tangled up a lot. So people probably push that aside cause mental illness.other than that, she was possesive, and we have lots to blame for her, but also, Zuke stayed with her because he is just going on for the ride, as he does usually, which is A PROBLEM. He himself has the problem of not acting, so he is to blame as well. Zuke is not dumb, and the game shows that a lot, since especially at the start he understands the way the city runs, even with all its problems, but after a point he rarely poses questions the things happening around him and just goes on with Mayday, while we FULL ON KNOW he is smarter than her and probably has pieced that what they are doing is shit, at worst case after the Yinu fight. And yet he assists her in a full on governmental collapse plan. So... yeah, Zuke has lots to blame himself for as well.
DJ Subatomic: Appears egotistical, but just wants his legacy to live on forever. Okay he's still kind of egotistical. Sayu: Appears as an avatar of product, but is ran by a group of talented kids with humble beginnings. Yinu: Appears to be a tragic tale of an overworked child ran by her mother, but sincerely enjoys piano and was entirely home-taught by her parents. Also carries the grief for her father passing on while she was young. 1010: Appear to be faceless robots, but had the origins of fashion and military. Also they are a reference to the cruel, cut-throat world of K-pop that demands and takes so much from its rising stars. Eve: Appears aloof and eccentric, but is just an artist searching for someone on her wavelength, aka The One. Also has a skin condition which she embraced and made into part of her art. Also is adorable with Zuke. Tatiana: Appears like a ruthless hard-ass stoney CEO. And in a way... she is all of that. But she made a lot of tough and hard decisions with the people's best interests at heart. However, rejecting her past so hard has made her deaf to taking criticism from outside peers. Also used to be a legendary rockstar, and hasn't quite put that part of her truly aside. Honestly, these characters are so great and fleshed out.
I love the fact that each artist represents a different motivational path creators tend to take when making something and how it can be taken down a worse path. DJ Subatomic Supernova: He was seeking attention. To be the center of other people orbiting around him and fill the emptiness/loneliness he felt. But when he did gain that attention it went to his head in thinking he was better then everyone. Sayu: People collaborating together to bring about an idea to life. Creating a fantasy reality to make up for their possible social issues that had in the past. But when that fantasy grows in popularity, one can drift into favoring it over reality because it seems to much better. Yinu: She pushed forward with her music in memory of her father. Never wanting to forget him, so she treasured the skills he taught her. But when that skill brought in fame, the reason behind her music was lost and even her mother kept moving her forward in order to keep her little girl famous. 1010: Recreating a popular figurine from another country that could no longer be imported anymore. Carrying on a franchise of sorts so others could enjoy it like he did. But in the end, what was once a unique figurine slowly turned into a mass producing product as it's popularity continued to grow. Making it lose it's individuality among the same thing pumped out to market. Eve: Due to her appearance and way she saw things, she struggled to find like minded people that shared her ideas. Doing so by making videos and hoping to find them through them. In the end, she spent so long unable to find someone that was like her that her creations slowly turned into 'standards' that others had to accept. In other words, making people think like her since she believed no one else naturally would be like her. Titiana: (Would talk about her, but I feel like doing so would be spoilers. XD)
@@WannabeWryter Well, alright. Tatiana(spoiler free as possible): She gained fame. Saw the top of that creator mountain and felt it all. But then came sonethibg that many creators fear, the fall back down. When popularity grew to its peak, fans began to demand more and the members started to try and push their own ideas more. In the end, the game caused then to break apart and she ever since blamed the what she did for it instead. It's different from the others since this one is a possible ending rather then a path to fame for creators. Hope you enjoy my analys.
Of all the NSR musicians, I adore Eve’s design the most. I’m so glad we got to see her transition to from emotional middle schooler to stoic university student.
I think another interesting thing about Nadia is the name Eve (I guess it's a stage name). The name is a Palindrome name, it's spelt the same forward and backward, like Anna, Otto, Hannah, etc. You could consider it a symmetrical name, which is the opposite to Nadia's appearance. So maybe she uses Eve as a way to combat her asymmetric appearance?
This made me really love DJ SubSup he is so ambitious on a unimaginable level with a huge ego to boot. But it feels like there is something behind it like he feels the need to prove himself to himself.
I think the creation of 1010 was a way for the navy solider Neon J to cope and make poeple smile after the war. So the former toy maker made robots that could sing, dance and charm.
After fighting yinu i felt like something personal behind their reason for playing music was there and more then just for profit and selfish desire.......... I can understand anyone similar to yinu in real life, ive lost my dad in 2018 And my reason for love of music came from him as well as singing with mom Im glad i shared my memories as an adult But i cant imagine losing him early in my childhood...i feel everythong yinu feelsas well as her mom....its just me and my mom....
i love how dj subsup, an astrophysics professor, forgot the tiny, insignificant detail that the void of space doesnt allow sound to travel. i guess its not an oversight though, it kind of plays into his character: when you get desperate enough to achieve something, you get tunnel vision and lose focus of the bigger picture. I know it's been a long time but recently i got into this game again and god the characters are just amazing as i remember, but now i come back here to realize how their design is even better than i tought, specifically DJsub his talk about emptiness and how he doesn't feel fulfilled it bashes with the fact he's a literal black hole, no matter how much mass they gain, no matter how much planets, comets, moons they swallow it will never be enough, just like DJsub's yearning for attention and desire to feel full, that's why he convinced himself to be better than everyone, because maybe then when he finally reached "Godhood" maybe then he would finally feel like enough, but if his black hole complex is truly right then his goal might never be achieved.
I love how each and every backstory fits not only with the themes, but are incredibly real. Is a music game in every aspect, and every character can be an inspiration. That is just how believable their reasons are. As for myself, I'm going down the musician path for the sake of my name and in honor of the ones that came before me, in this case my parents since both are musicians themselves, so I'll do everything that I can to go beyond everything that can be imagined of a simple Rock band of high schoolers in an almost country city. I simply love this game
2:39 the problem with this is that space is a vacuum. So even if he did his music wouldn't do anything as sound in space gets reduced to nothing. His goal is unobtainable and he'll fail immediately
Oh.. i noticed that nadia changed their work (the hanging bottles shaped onto heart) after zuke left her... Its lying somewhere around eve's district. Its still a heart but it is now a broken one ;-;
That just made the Yinu fight so much more depressing. I originally thought it was about a mother who was forcing her child to play the piano against her will since she happened to be a protege. I guess the strings were more about a forced connection with the piano since they both miss the Father. Yinu plays to feel connected with her father. The Mother tells Yinu to play so she can remember her husband. Then at the end they're able to reconnect with the broken piano in a healthier manner. You helped severe those unhealthy connections , let them move on, and remember why they liked the piano in the first place.
I see Yinu and my reaction is hugging her with my only thought being "protect the child" She's just so cute!!! And went through a lot... The little girl deserves the best
This really fed my craving of learning more about the bosses! I liked Eve's the most. The animation is cute (SHE'S SO CUTE TOO!!) And it's also sad. That heart thing she made with Zuke can be found in the game in her part, but it's a broken heart. Like the second I saw the heart in this video I kinda freaked out because that was a broken heart in the game!!!! And it has a deeper meaning!!!! What a fun game. I hope there's a sequel or maybe a show or shorts. I can only hope...
I keep going back to this game, because of how masterfully it shows the amazing rainbow of music. Even the EDM has its own unique subgenres, disco, pop, vaporwave/lo-fi, something like breakcore in Tatiana's segment? Huh. Anyway, it displays a very complex and rich collection of mini-stories, tied to every boss. Music can create new bonds, maintain old ones, help someone find themself, help someone find a kindred spirit, connect and grow together. And it applies to both the protagonists and the antagonists! I can't even decide which one thing to latch onto about all the implications, and hints, and simple direct storytelling in just one segment, because all of these are so telling, just the _format_ in which snippets of these artists' lives are presented matches who they are so well, and God, the performances by the voice actors, the genuinely sincere and gripping writing, the incredible stylish visuals, all of it is so *_lively_* in some kind of a magical way... Amazing game.
gotta respect DJ SubSup for thanking the janitor for just standing. Dude actually appreciate those who listem to him (regardless of them not actually interested in his lectures)
If you put attention to details, you'll notice that it was a toxic relationship. Just look at the logo of their show, "eVe" is in capital letters, and intense colors, while Zuke's name is tiny. Also, she basically hits Zuke in the face when he didn't paint the bottle as expected (Even if it was some kind of rough love, it is still toxic). The final clue, is Zukes attitude towards her in the entire 2nd clip. He looks tired, he seems almost scared to disappoint her, he is obviously trying too hard for things to work normally.
Yeah but the relationship seemed to only really make one of the two happy, at the expense of the other, and the way Zuke refused to give her a second chance (besides now having a relationship himself) may show it was a cycle of “she does a thing that hunted me, we talked it out, we resolve, she does a thing that hunted me...” over and over, he knew if they return, so will the never ending cycle he endured for as long as that relationship lasted, and Eve’s harshness was escalating from paint to the face all the way to hecking lighting his hair on fire?! Whatever the heck she tried to do O.o, Zuke maybe became a rage bomb the more he came to realize nobody should be treated that poorly, so when the accident occurred, he exploded, and after perhaps many many attempts for her to treat him better with reverse results that worsen each time, he just called it quit without a word. In a way she both needed someone who understands her, but she also needed to understand others.
@@anubiscerberus4348 While I understand that, I blame Zuke for not acting as well, especially since for me, in the game it's a problem he has, since well... he didn't question anything for the destruction of 6 districts, leading to a government collapsing, and for me, I have every reason to believe Zuke COULD figure out they should stop, since he has shown that he is much smarter than mayday, and at worst for me he should have gotten the hint to stop at the Yinu fight, considering that he probably did not want to distrust Kliff at first. So yes, if you put that problem in his relationship with Eve/Nadia, for all intents and purposes, he should have questioned and confronted her, about things. But... he didn't even try. Again, his lack of action until the bitter end led to both of them getting traumatized for the time being, and for me, both are to blame in this. Because both, fucked up, big time. Also, the way the animation is shown, Eve probably throw the paint at him by mistake, she seemed oblivious to it.
Wait, even Yinu and her mother? They just look like that naturally? Man this is one surreal world, you wouldn’t often see this in video games, I’d say it’s surreality is most like Regular Show, that’s the closest comparison.
Sayu's story it's so cute!! , It reminded me of the first time I shared my drawings and on social media Also yinu's story it's.... beautiful.. and Eve has identity and self-esteem problems also i like the animation in Eve's Backstory
Most people are commenting on Zuke and Nadia, which I understand since it's one of the main plot points about one of the main charaters and it's animated beautifully. However, could we also talk about these other things? 1) DJSS was actually an academic, probably a doctor in astrophysics, before becoming a DJ. Either that or a space engineer, capable of creating drones small enough to be seemlessly attached to a satellite without NSR noticing, but powerful enough to broadcast music to the entire galaxy (a feat still not fully accomplished by humanity in such a "pristine" way as he describes it). He might be an egotistical asshole, but we all gotta admit he's a bloody genius. 2) Yinu's father appears only in the first two pictures, but not in the third, where she's clearly acting more serious and possibly even sad. What happened to him? Did he leave? Did he die? Is he out due to business? Regardless, this possibly makes the ending of Yinu's boss fight so much meaningful. 3) Sayu's main artist converses in several posts with a Guest account. Anyone else here has a hunch that Guest is actually the senior student portrayed on the first post? Also, is the voice actor / composer the one that drew both first and last pictures? If so, her style improved a lot after meeting her friends! 4) Tatiana's presence on the magazines becomes increasingly more ominous and depicts her more as a tyrant with each new edition. In her desperation to maintain order, she probably manipulated the press to distribute propaganda on their cover pages. This reinforces her character motivations, but at the same time makes her seem more... extremist. Wouldn't want to theorize about extremely sensitive things, but perhaps someone else can see the connections between her behaviour and a certain individual in 1942's Germany. Or maybe it's just me overthinking. 5) 1010's producer started manufacturing vintage figurines portraying soldiers, maids and people wearing classical attires. He might be way older than we think, considering how futuristic Vynil City is, while the figurines seem almost from the 1800's. To reinforce this even further, the guy admitted he's a cyborg, which would somewhat explain his allegedly long lifespan, although the details as per how he managed to obtain his enhancements are out of my reach. 6) Nadia set Zuke's hair on fire, and that's why they broke up, if that was not clear enough. In the video, Zuke seems impressed with Nadia's art, but also more interested in her as a person. However, the eccentric and exagerated personality of Nadia ended up making him retreat, since he understood he could not pretend to comprehend her forever. Plus, Nadia started off either masking her strange skin colour (which would explain why she's so obviousy in distaste with herself in the first clip) or her pink side developed as she grew older. Furthermore, it could be representative of her artistic views: maybe her pink side grew brighter the more creative she became, the more she experimented. Who knows. I personally believe it to be the first case, with her growing out of her complexes and embracing herself for who she really is.
2) likely dead. Families generally don't keep photos of parents who abandon them. He also shows wrinkles in the second photo and seems more reserved. I would assume an ailment if I had to guess. 4) The Hitler story changes depending on who tells it but by the records he was always an insane power grubbing monster, who initially gained his power through political gamesmanship before grabbing everything else up that he could. Tatiana seem most concerned with the town's energy crisis, and views dictatorial control as the only way to fix things. I read this as her slowly becoming the jaded person she ends up as toward the end. 5) My first thought was that his original interests were around the military before it warped into something he could actually make a profit off of.
I remember listening to the music for the first time and being like “yeah once i get the game I’ll definitely try to listen to it as I’m doing the fight” but now that i have the game i realize it’s more compiled of you going “AAAA” because of how chaotic it gets
The thing about Eve that gives me hope is that she doesn’t like herself and thinks she’s strange, but the fan base seems to ADORE her, and I do too. It makes me hope that I’ll find people who still like me in spite of my many many flaws.
It's amazing how all of them are tragic in some way dj supernova wanted to be savior of the universe but really wanted praise and human kindness, sayu was a a.i designed by four lonely kids who wanted to make somthing amazing, yina and her mother were trying to cope with the death of her father by playing on the thing he loved most the piano, 1010s manger was a cyborg broken by war who made figurines to ease the pain of ptsd but made a army of singing robots, eve hated herself and wanted to be loved and tatina couldn't treat people with decent care and respect and turned cliff into a wrathful monster hellbent on revenge and dk west just kept running from life and zuke.
I wish EVE was real cause I love her and I know she is just a character but it actually breaks my heart to see her suffer so much I wish I could be with her or at the very least be there for her
Why does eve make me feel for her so bad she just wants someone to be ok with how she truly is isn’t that what we all want? Someone to truly love she can’t help but be who she is we can’t help but be who we are😔
DJ Sub-Nova: Neil DeGrasse Tyson Sayu: The build up from a simple deviantart oc drawing to an actually loved and accepted character reminded me of the growth Kasane Teto went through before becoming a character on Project Diva. Eve: Looks like a character straight out of a Cartoon Network series my sister would rewatch 10 times. The emotion and feeling portrayed not only in the animation but the narrative beats most of the rest of the game. 1010: Not worth mentioning. Tatiana: Still her rockside remains to be in an air of mystery even with everything coming together. Another thing: Zuke's attitude and story focus suggests Mayday is the actual protagonist here. Zuke is already tied to the world. Also it even seems like Zuke is socially awkward, taking in Mayday, Eve and his brother.
It's kind of weird that Eve has the most vague TV commercial, yet the most in-depth backstory here, with both an animation AND audio, unlike the others. :p
actually, 1010's dolls aren't really about them! it's slightly more about the objecthead manager that you fight, but significantly more about vinyl city than any of them. iirc there was a Q&A stream with the main directors that said that the toys describe the environment of vinyl city before, during, and after the border war respectively- less of neon j and his boyband. even though neon was the one that created said toys and, obviously, indirectly tells the story of a long forgotten city that developed into something modern, flashy, and great, it's still some super good insight into many, *many* events and characters.
Ok so there’s a lot of analysis of eve, but there’s one tiny detail I noticed in her first tape. If you look at the way she parts her hair, it covers a tiny bit of her face, which is a very common thing in movies and shows where a teenager has a side of their face their insecure of and hide with their hair. (sometimes it’s heterochromia or some other condition causing an asymmetrical appearance) Even though her hair covers part of the white side of her face, she covers up her red side with makeup. Maybe this is meant to symbolize how she couldn’t choose between two halves of herself. (I dunno it’s 3 AM and I might just be reading way too much into it, but she’s meant to be super abstract)
I find it incredibly wholesome that Sayu was conceived from an accidental art collab between randos on the internet.

Him being the first boss sets the tone of the game how NSR is bad and should be overthrown.

The web pages for Sayu's team are so cute. Really good homage to the feats people can accomplish on the Internet when banding together.

Also a good homage to a controversial logo and website redesign circa 2014

I just realized that Eve threw the paint on the same side of her skin condition.
I suppose she felt like a freak but made her condition into art. Which is cool but sad.
Or she gets bullied because of it or your opinion but she thinks everyone finds you pitiful and she hates it

Gatsmen
Hope they try to launch it again, wonder how he felt when the satellite just came back
@@appojuce1286 Probably indifferent or slightly annoyed.
Sounds like he struggles with Depression, honestly
Gatsmen *Even in the one where her and zuke are working together she shows her pink side to the camera while zuke is talking! **7:17*
I think it was more her skin condition was advancing, not that she was trying to cover it up.
That was the pink developing
I'm more inclined to think it's her trying to cover it up, then feeling more confident in herself when she met Zuke, which is why she freely shows her pink side after that. But either way, whether it was her condition growing or her covering it with make-up, it still means it's something Eve's self-conscious about.
@@FM-cp6kc yeah it's still a strong possibility. I'm still REALLY surprised on how much thought they put into the characters for this game though.
Here's my say about it EVERY ONE IS THE COLOR
I love how Zuke looks a bit frustrated and tired, makes me think that he was really trying for things to work because he really cared for Eve, but he was getting tired of pretending that he could be what she was looking for to make her happy.
I'm glad they got to talk in the game, hope they can at least be friends again.
Me too. I'm clueless as to who her "other half" will be, but even she needs friends which I'm certain she'll find in Zuke and Mayday.

Love the small detail with Sayu's backstory that the "Lukisanart" page interface changes slightly with each thumb drive like the site was updated and changed over the years.
Fun fact: "Lukisan" means "drawing" in Bahasa Melayu.
"Drawing" in malaysian
"Luke is an art"
Luke is probably his name
King of Roses
Who’s name? If you mean of the the creators of Sayu they already have names and their not Luke

I believe it's a metaphor about erasing the past and moving forward
Coming soon NSR 2
@@smashinglabu3942 maybe the plot of the sequal could focus on reassembling the ghoolies and unveiling their backstories to discover the history of the band
I think Tatiana's should have been three pictures.
One of Kul Fyra when the Goolings where together and you can see thier happy and dressed similarly with vinyl city behind them.
2nd, same people as the first but now there's an obvious distance between them all plus vinyl city behind them looks pretty bad
3rd, Tatiana with Eve celebrating the first day of her album release.
It’s likely a flex of some sort
I love how everyone (both heroes and villains) represents the darker side of the music genre, with the main characters acknowledging how they’re one of the worst kind of musicians (breaking down others to reach their goals). No one is completely a good guy here, despite how charismatic some can be.
What does May Day and Zuke represent?
Sonic Cody
Like I said, the main characters (Mayday and Zuke) acknowledge how they’re one of the worst kind of musicians. The kind that purposefully breaks others down to reach their own goals. That isn’t to say that they’re the only bad musicians, but they are still bad from a moral standpoint.

DJ Sub's story description here just has to be my absolute favorite
Fortunately Neon J redeem himself
Ah thank you
Late response but i think you read the tags wrong, the first one says "the collectable figure toy was made upon imported fashion dolls" and the second one clarifies that because of the war the importation stopped so he made the new ones from scratch

@@kingofroses302 1010 is basically a one cyberman boyband slave ?
That would explain why J-10 always built these dolls to robots and speaks of a war when you defeat him. Also he states he is a cyborg which now makes sense more than ever.
Wait...isn't kind of the deal of what hapoened at South Korea? Woah....
Even by desing, every boss is symbolic of something and that amazes me
DJ Super Nova: The black hole in his head represents how void his actual mind is.
Sayu: she's a mermaid because her whole being it's based on the fantasy of an artist. (Just like vocaloid)
YInu: the flower motive represents her blooming talent as a pianist.
Kaeruk Lol also remember Mermaids are told to hypnotize people with their singing
And Tatianas skin looks like cooled down lava to represent her repressing of her old life, and don't get me started on her third phase look and the stage in the background
Another thing of Yinu is that, flowers represent "death" or "fragility", which fits with the photos...
Imagine being as egotistical as DJ SubSup and wanting to spread your music across space without realizing that Space has no freaking sound
You can transmit sound through radio waves. Doesnt matter tho, since aliens would probably only understand mathematics on a human level.

Not egotistical. He feels empty. He wants to make an imprint on the universe, because in the grand scheme of things, he's insignificant, and he wants a purpose So he combines the two things he loves, space and music, to find that purpose.

Credit where credit's due, DJ Sub turned his existential crisis into a bangin' music career
I want a series of all these characters now the creators really out did themselves.
@SpiritusC I hopes so to or at least a cartoon, perhaps the aftermath with kliff trying to get revenge?
@SpiritusC What I would do for that.
I need more sayu
Not gonna lie, I really like DJSS, there’s just something about his talk of emptiness that I can relate to, trying to seek or accomplish something for yourself, to prove it to yourself. I’m not really sure but his character and story just draws me in.
Sayu and 1010 : Wholesome and heart warming
Everyone else : DARK, DEPRESSING, HEART BROKING
No, 1010 has a darker side. Who was once a toymaker became a weapon maker during a war. That's why there is a navy theme with 1010, they are living weapons repurposed as a boyband to bring happiness to a post war vinyl city
Sayu is not as dark, but still not a super happy turn of events: being a passion project of internet strangers united over a common goal, now bought by a company (who keep in mind is controlled by tatiana) and putting these teenagers in a political world they were not prepared for
DJ: Constant Existential crisis 2, IN SPAAAAAAAAAACE!
Sayu: Weebs unite
Yinu: Literally just modern Hollywood child actors
1010: Navy PTSD BTS robo-soldiers
Eve: Craxy ex, now with extra arms
Wait- Crisis 2? *Theres a first?*
@@ilikepie4685 No its basically how every single franchise goes to space once they run out of ideas
@Skunkbrains OH okay
it's so cool how it seems like Eve has a skin condition that makes half her body pink!
As it turns out it isn't a skin condition it's make up
It looks more like she tried to cover up her pink skin with white makeup at first.
Forget what i said, Austin Morrison has a better theory. It’s sounds more true as well.
@@brageohm7382 Yea, at one moment you can see the undersides of the palm of her hand and it's completely pink. She probably didn't bother putting the white make-up there.
So Subatomic Supernova wishes to feel more significant in the ever expanding cosmos and hopes to be appreciated.
Sayu was born from an accidental art collab that forged a new group of friends
Yinu learned the piano from her dad who died from an illness so now the piano reminds her mother of happier times together.
Just a reminder that by “bright lights” Eve means... fire. She set Zuke’s hair on fire
My theory was right! Yinu looks more like her dad, also her story breaks my heart :'0
Her mother is basically a giant root who had a child that became a flower.
8:13
I just read from a different comment that this was when she lit his hair on fire.
If that's not self satisfactory I don't know what is :/
She called setting someone's hair on fire as "illuminating it with bright light", and everyone in the comment section just conveniently brush that aside and treat it as comic relief like it's no big deal???
Finally! Someone who sees that she is a very toxic friend/partner, esPECIALLY how she straight up said to Zuke in the boss battle,
"You were nothing before you met me!" or something like that.
I love the little detail where eve explains zuke running away like her eyes moved for a second.
Secondly...i personally relate to eve.

@@zensokovich4179 oh, oops :)
@@bunbunshark So she DID set his hair aflame. I was wondering about that.
XD)
Like your descriptions, Go ahead with Tatiana
But it feels like there is something behind it like he feels the need to prove himself to himself.
love how everyone (especially eve) have all these interesting backstories, and motives for making music and 1010s just Hrgh. boyband.
I think the creation of 1010 was a way for the navy solider Neon J to cope and make poeple smile after the war. So the former toy maker made robots that could sing, dance and charm.
The 1010 robots themselves are not really interesting, but the story of their commander is.
Thanks so much. All this lore and thought into the characters is so well done.
After fighting yinu i felt like something personal behind their reason for playing music was there and more then just for profit and selfish desire..........

Zuke kinda should've stayed around and talked to her about that mistake she made.
i love how dj subsup, an astrophysics professor, forgot the tiny, insignificant detail that the void of space doesnt allow sound to travel. i guess its not an oversight though, it kind of plays into his character: when you get desperate enough to achieve something, you get tunnel vision and lose focus of the bigger picture. For a comparison, it's like starting a garden, but never watering it, yet reading and researching gardening techniques.
Imo, it makes him more interesting
Sayu: Inspiring story of a group of kids forging their dream into a successful career and creating an idol that surpassed the some of her parts
Yinu: Tragic story of a fathers death leading to her mother being over protective and putting a lot of pressure on her
Eve: Story of someone terrified of being alone hurt by the Zuke's departure without him saying much of anything
1010: Manufactured Boyband
DJ Sub Supernova: Lol ya'll are dumb, SPPPAAAAACCCCCEEEE!
I love how everything DJ Sub says in the game is uptight. This is why I love him.
DJ sub voice is so relaxing to hear???
His voice is so cool
It’s very narrator-like. I just get that vibe.
I swear DJ Supernova sound just like Internet Historian.
The figurines seem to tell a story of how Neon J went from being a peacetime Toymaker to a wartime Soldier to a post-war Band Manager of 1010...
7:29
Symbolism that Eve sees that Zuke can't complete her, but she chooses to ignore.
Eve's old video footage leaves a Malaysia Flag Easter egg (but a bit of dark tone). Good timing of game release date which is near Merdeka Day.

Honestly that’s amazing and the animation of how they did Sayu it’s just cool and awesome

the fact that djss wants to broadcast his music in space, where there is no air and thus no way for music to play, is fucking hilarious to me
This really fed my craving of learning more about the bosses!
Aw, Eve and Zuke were so cute. It’s a little sad what happened between them considering all she wanted to do with him was to create things with him.
Anubis Cerberus I see what you mean now.
Omg when Eve poses for the picture with Zuke she's even posing so only her white half is shown...
Yessss thank youuu I was just thinking about how someone needs to upload these before I went to sleep! :D
Yknow if zuke was gone for 3 weeks from his hair being set on fire than he was probably at the hospital
Wait, even Yinu and her mother? They just look like that naturally? Man this is one surreal world, you wouldn’t often see this in video games, I’d say it’s surreality is most like Regular Show, that’s the closest comparison.
Oh Shoot! Yinu's father is dead? That honestly explains a whole lot!! Oh my goodness!!

I’ve literally never heard of this game until yesterday. Why am I so damn invested in it now?
*"Music make you lose control!"*
Yinu's last year learning to play the piano with Papa". Only pain lives in my heart.
It actually says “first year”
Most people are commenting on Zuke and Nadia, which I understand since it's one of the main plot points about one of the main charaters and it's animated beautifully.
So...
DJ Sub: Dexter's laboratory
Sayu: Devianart + Vtubers/Vacaloids
Yinu: My Lovely Daughter
1010: K-pop
Eve: Cruella de Vil
I remember listening to the music for the first time and being like “yeah once i get the game I’ll definitely try to listen to it as I’m doing the fight” but now that i have the game i realize it’s more compiled of you going “AAAA” because of how chaotic it gets
The thing about Eve that gives me hope is that she doesn’t like herself and thinks she’s strange, but the fan base seems to ADORE her, and I do too. It makes me hope that I’ll find people who still like me in spite of my many many flaws.
I really love Eve and all her dimples.
And ofc Tatiana. I could listen to her for days.

Oh ok
The heart Zuke and Eve make can be found in game and split apart. :(
DJ Sub-Nova: Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Sayu: The build up from a simple deviantart oc drawing to an actually loved and accepted character reminded me of the growth Kasane Teto went through before becoming a character on Project Diva.
(sometimes it’s heterochromia or some other condition causing an asymmetrical appearance)
Even though her hair covers part of the white side of her face, she covers up her red side with makeup. Maybe this is meant to symbolize how she couldn’t choose between two halves of herself.
(I dunno it’s 3 AM and I might just be reading way too much into it, but she’s meant to be super abstract)
man im liking the theories and deep thinking going on in the comments best comment section on TH-cam
Eve is literally every highschool art teacher ever
Omg Eve in the past was so adorable
