I loved just exploring the world and by the time I finished the story I then realized I was only like 2 trophies away from platinum, so I completed them. Honestly I usually don’t go for platinum trophies but this game entertained me so much and the world was so beautiful it just happened naturally
Yesss i love this, and i love the sidequest isnt always "go here kill this guy, tail this guy" some can be solved without blodshed depends on how you handle it, the sidequest does not feel tedious, loves the combat, variety of weapons, loces the aegean sea view, all the islands view is also so good, few complaints but all in all i honestly can say this is a good game

115 hours and counting, best AC game to date IMO. The visuals alongside the gameplay just makes for such a perfect combination. It's stunning, less repetetive than I expected to before I started it and very grindy.

This was my second ever platinum back in January 2020 I only went for it because I couldn’t get enough of the game and I just thought why not and it was amazing I loved and great to see you have done it. With the goat and eye I was extremely lucky I randomly found it when I was chilling and wasn’t even going for the trophy’s.
I think odyssey is a great game and a really good rpg but it’s a terrible assassins creed game, don’t get me wrong I love odyssey but it’s by no means a good assassins creed game given that it lacks assassins, templars or even their ancient counterparts and does nothing to add the the assassin Templar conflict, the only thing it does to add to lore is in the hidden blade dlc where it shows the first hidden blade and shows that kassandra is the mother to aya/amunette who is one of the founders of the hidden ones but that is about it

Even then, if we had a Darius game, it still wouldn't be an AC game by your rules you want the game to follow since he never joined the Brotherhood and he offers nothing to their order whatsoever. The Cult of Kosmos is a precursor organization and Alexios is a precursor assassin. Kassandra is like a great great great great great great grandmother to Aya.
@@ac_nerd9794 no I fully paid attention to the lore, I loved ac odyssey and I’ve replayed it countless times but the reason why I think it’s a bad assassins creed game is the fact that it has next to zero things that makes assassins creed what it is, and why make an assassins creed game just to set it way before the origin of even the hidden ones, the only thing that made it somewhat close to feeing like an assassins creed game was hunting down the cult of cosmos, once again I love the game but as an assassins creed game it pales in comparison to any of the games from ac1 up to unity or maybe even syndicate, the parkour was watered down and stripped of all its style and it felt like I had to go out of my way just to add a bit of actual parkour and when I did it didn’t feel good like it did in the previous games, the stealth was also very watered down and was made entirely useless for the most part, not to mention they took away one hit assassinations and it lacs the hidden blade which is the main trademark of assassins creed and I get the lore behind why you don’t have one but either way they stopped the game of what makes it an assassins creed game, the only thing they did to tie the game in with actual ac lore is the isu stuff and then the hidden blade dlc which just sets up that the protagonist is a relative of amunette
I didn’t complete the platinum for this one til 2 weeks into Valhalla already being out. I was just too burnout from doing the platinum for Origins and Syndicate. Somehow Origins was the biggest grind

One of my favorite details of the Kassandra/Alexios choice is how it affects the other's personality as Deimos. Kassandra as a character has this long-suffering snarky streak as wide as Greece, while Alexios is this big boisterous fun loving life of the party… so Kas!Deimos is this seething bundle of anger that terrifyingly explodes out at random moments, while Al!Deimos is this uncontrolled rage machine who barely manages pull himself back from time to time. It shows positive traits being twisted into something evil, it helps to make subsequent playthroughs as the other sibling feel different, and it reminds you the player what you lost out on because of the Cult's machinations. No matter what you do… you can't truly fix the relationship between these two siblings. But you're damn well right I pull out all the stops to reunite the whole family at the end again. Even my annoying little step-brother. :p

I love how die-hard Assassin Creed fans will hate this game with all their existence because it barely ties to the story. But as a person that has played every AC game, Odyssey ranks very well and I’d recommend it to a lot of people.

I use bayak and his wife as my commanders pn my boat 😂, but the weapons!? Man they have some awesome weapons and cosmetics, hugs fan of the hades cosmetics
The legendary animals are tough but doable. They become a cakewalk if you have a good set of armor and weapons (and I don't legendary gear, epic gear works far more better imo), especially with a critical build! I love my critical builds! 😁😂
I remember when I took down the minator when 10 levels below it but I did have a proper build which coster me money as some engravings I need from the shop lol

I started playing my old save again. I never beat the base game before, but i just recently got the best ending. Im a sucker for happy endings 😆 . Now that I've done that, i have been mercenary hunting, either to take their loot or to recruit them to my ship. If you have the EA play thing connected, you can get legendary Lieutenants. Im 140 hrs into this game, level 54, but im still trying to conquer my fear of the sharks in this game. 😂😂 i cant for the life of me to fight them underwater, i just shoot arrows first before ending a ruin or something. I also realize that the dlcs in this game is insanely long. Its cool how the game just continues after the base game. In many ways, like how you can continuously kill nation leaders of islands to get their loot or recruit them. Lol😏 the game just over time refreshes islands back to who owns it. And not to mention the ability to play online "stories" by the community.
You should definitely try and get all assassin's Creed games on the PS4/PS5 on the channel already got all the newer ones. And I'll be expecting a mirage video shortly after release ❤
It was a while ago but I think you need to do proper missions with stories. There's enough across the different islands, some of them lead to more follow up quests too :)
I'm really beat the main storyline and then bleed again and plus mode and I didn't never thought the check that if you can use a overpowered ability on your bow why did I never think about that

You might not see this but how did u do the island hopper trophy 🏆 can u do board missions??
It was a while ago but I think you need to do proper missions with stories. There's enough across the different islands, some of them lead to more follow up quests too :)
