What a brilliant woman. Dedicated to her line of work supporting the victims of hijackles. Until her last breath she gave to those of us who are healing from these kind of relationships. Much love to her family ❤

Learning that my private self is kept to myself. Most wouldn't have the bandwidth to understand my life and wrap their minds around it. Even in time, things are shared with those who deserve it. No hijackels 😊 high jacking my life again. Thank you ❤

You are so right! We do tend to divulge too much when we feel connected. I learnt that a long time ago. I only answer questions and disclose very little. Just enough.

I so needed to hear this message. Over sharing shows poor boundaries and invites disrespect.

Oh, sweet woman Dr Shaler, look at you. Pouring everything that you had to get your message out to us as your struggling in health.
This makes me weep seeing the outpouring of love you have for your community. I feel so loved and yet we never met. I know all your viewers have felt the same through the validation you gave us.
May you rest in peace and thank you so much for all that you contributed to this topic. 💔

Thank you so much for this episode. Coming out of relationships with hijackals can be so disorienting and it would be hard to remember to protect future relationships from that drama. thank you thank you thank you.

37:18 first time I heard someone else talk about group dynamics. Facilitation and structure where all can speak is important. Very helpful info for professionals running groups that allow certain voices to dominate. Part of the issue is the member creating space by asserting themselves. The other part is facilitation. I do agree that there’s a role for the facilitator to intervene, as well.
