Hearing a down to earth conversation outside of politics with Donald Trump is surprisingly refreshing and endearing. Really enjoyed listening to this.
I found it utterly endearing as well. Great choice of words.
I definitely felt that as well
At the risk of starting a political war… let’s not forget everything he’s done 😅

Outstanding!
That's awesome brotha!!
A genuine human conversation between two people like this with no politics or challenges or gotchas genuinely feels like a breath of fresh air
Theo is soooo nervous lol but did a damn good job, really pulled all the brain cells together for this one
I'd say he was just a bit nervous at times but generally he wasn't because he's real he's himself and that's how he looks and behaves around everyone..
Theo was incredibly respectful. Most times we see Trump, it is with a very adversarial and disrespectful press. This conversation, like the one with Elon, is two people sharing some time together and talking about stuff - in a respectful manner.
Added 2 brain cells and was able to match Trump's 4
He wouldn’t shut up and let trump talk
@@SrAntonio301you must be new to podcast. It’s a conversation not an interview.
This is a side to Trump that we don't often see. Thanks Theo, for broaching the topic.
It’s a side he needs to show more but unfortunately he doesn’t. If he could humans: himself more he would be looked at in a totally different way.
@@Robertsmith-sz7gh unfortunately its too hard to look past the whole wanting to be a dictator/kill democracy and pedophilia stuff
@@Robertsmith-sz7ghI doubt it, he's a genuinely terrible person, majority of people see right through his act. He tried to steal the 2020 election, he tried to have his VP killed by his deranged followers. He has a rich history with an infamous pedophile, and when that infamous pedophiles accomplice was arrested, he said that he wishes her well.
Time and time again he chews up and spits out the constitution and everything america trys to stand for. He is not a decent person by any means, people shouldn't be fooled by his charade.
I was thinking the same thing. This is his human side.
@@RAGINGINSOMNIA-o8e Don't fall for this bullshit. The man tried to overthrow the 2020 election, by way of a coup and directly calling state officials, asking them to "find the votes". He had legal cases against him dismissed by a judge that HE appointed. Justices that HE appointed granted him criminal immunity. He PROMISES to be a dictator on day 1. I had never seen Donald Trump opening his heart like this, he even seemed compassionate and caring about Theo’s addiction, without judgement . I am not American, but I consume a lot of American media and I wish Trump was given the opportunity to open himself more frequently like this but sadly the media is more interested in presenting him like a monster. Wonderful interview Theo!
Actions speak louder than words.
Whenever you hear about people who actually meet Trump they say the same thing - compassionate and caring.
The news does not want you to see this side of Trump.
The media is becoming irrelevant because of interviews like this so they are focused on being sensational in their reporting instead of honesty
Trump is never portrayed in this manner, his true kind hearted and compassionate self. This interview is great.

@MarcYanruw yeah, Trump isn't always the greatest with his words, but he's a good dude and he's smart in other ways. Elon Musk is terrible with words and no one calls him dumb. The ppl who want Trump to lose simply twist his words bcuz he makes it easy for them to do so
@@MarcYanruw It is a part of his strategy. I know people like to act like we are a cult that thinks Trump is always playing 4d chess. But after reading The Art of the Deal and following Trump closely for a long time I can say that he is always maneuvering and planning and thinking about his next steps forward. Exaggerating things is just a strategy so people who watch things or listen or read while drooling and barely taking in the information will actually focus in on the important parts of his message.
It also forces the media to cover it and because what Trump says is mostly truth with some exaggeration they just look stupid attacking it.

Getting past your condescending "it's a better look" comment - this IS the real Trump. Any other "look" you are referring to has been provided for your consumption by the propaganda MSM, big tech, and the Uniparty. As other posters have noted - Trump never backs down, and always punches back harder. He really should it would do wonders for him
I think its just a matter of how busy he is. Its hard to carve out huge chunks of time for a podcasr lt id imagine.
Agreed, not a fan of the orange guy or sleepy Joe. This is the best version of Trump I have ever seen.
Thing is, a lot of traditional media is extremely adversarial when they interview Trump. Compare that to how non-confrontational Theo is here. More like a conversation between two buds

Those that don’t drink, don’t get invited, don’t get the opportunities that are passed around at bars and boozy dinners.
@@UmtreeTrue but the coworkers who drink and do all that never make it to the top. The people at the top who already do drugs and alcohol would be there no matter what
@@sunnystormy4973I can't wait for him to win his third term!
@@Umtree Been in business for a while now. Yes, many companies center their networking/team building things around alcohol (or involve it to some extent). But i think its a stretch to say that you cant move up if you dont indulge. Ive never seen anyone not invited just because theyre abstinent. Most people arent drinking to excess anyways, so nobody really cares if someone gets a soda instead of a margarita. Sure, it can help bring you closer to people to share a beer together, but the same can be accomplished through other means (or drinks). If anything in my experience, abstinent people get more respect from others because most people understand how hard it is to resist the peer pressure. And most people also realize that many people who choose to abstain are doing so because they know they have a problem and are showing incredible strength/responsibility/resilience by not drinking.
The entire interview was genuine and heartfelt. Should be mandatory watching for all voters...
I love that Trump was genuinely curious about Theo's situation and asked him questions about it. There's a myth out there that Trump only talks about himself but people who are around him in everyday situations will tell you that he cares for people and asks questions and can be receptive and empathetic
Honestly, if you watch older stuff of him you realize he is a businessman. When he's trying to sell something, the whole conversation will steer towards how great this thing is. If he's endorsing someone, he steers it toward how great that person is. If he's running for public office... It's how great he would be and how terrible the other person would be.
When there's no stakes in the conversation, you hear him and he's incredibly friendly and even humble.
@@JayM928 true, he is a business man but at his core he is a decent human being it seems.
Ask his supporters he sent to prison. He went after his own people more than he did BLM. He told them to go there. Total betrayal. Wow he asked him questions in front of the camera? So impressive 😂 He didn't care about all the victims of the American war machine in the Middle East. He also didn't care about Roy Cohen and Epsteins victims. He put Epstein pals into his cabinet.......His attorney general gave Espt31n the job to begin with. Trump's labor secretary Alex Acosta gave Epst3in a sweet heart deal. Stop voting for this two party system.
I think that's the problem with the rallies he's not talking to anyone so it's not personal so he's just has to give em a show
The myth was created by the media. The media are spokespeople for the globalist establishment. Stop believing the media.

Why do you say Jesus? I'm just curious.
Sober 30 years ... best decision I ever made ... blessed by the grace of God
The authentic humanity between these 2 gentlemen is beautiful. God bless them both! 🙏
I could watch them talk all day. Trump is a great story teller.
It is also absolutely fascinating to see him interact with someone, when it is not on a campaign stump (by definition a bombastic environment) or in the adversarial arena with the, frankly, hyena press. Fascinating.
This ended far too quickly!
I wanted an actual story of what Trump's interaction with Fred was. But, digging at old wounds is hard.
I love Trump even more!
My Dad and I have had a rocky road! I love him and he loves me. The lessons he’s taught me I’m grateful.
He unfortunately has had to live with his choices. He’s not a bad person but has made choices that has caused mind and body challenges. Forty years and four months of sobriety and drank a bottle of vodka on his 75th birth day.
Sending love to you all out there! Remember you’re a miracle and a blessing to many. One day at a time.
I just want to say Theo I absolutely love your podcasts, I am 25 years old as of a week ago & the past year I’ve been battling alcohol addiction & I’ve been getting back on track with staying sober taking it day by day week by week man, keep doing your podcasts you’re really helping a ton of people even if it doesn’t seem like it, thank you brother
I have faith that you will recover. Stay strong and stay away from people who are drinking/drugging. I'm 6 years sober, didn't get sober until I was 48.
You've got lots of healthy and happy years ahead of you.
Take care
I adore Theo so much. Just keep watching his videos they will help. Boy you sure are young..... you've got the whole world ahead of you. One day at a time. Get lots of good sleep and chose good foods. I know it will work out~
Try to focus on a hobby, your only young, I wish I quit when I was 25. I went cold turkey from alcohol, cigarettes and weed after 30 years on it. It been 3-4 months sober, I took up archery and bow hunting to replace my addiction and now I don’t even think about my past bad habits.
I stopped drinking 25 years ago, the best thing I ever did. It was hard at first, but now I don't miss it at all.
yep trying too quit myself alcohol really is the most dangerous drug ever
You surround yourself around the same situations, with the same people, eventually talking about the same shite, waking up feeling the same, saying the same things to yourself.. Over and over again.
Yeah I'm very close to completely quitting. I have a few beers here and there but even then it's dangerous, I just don't want to stop. I just do like bonding with people over a few drinks.
Great work 👊👍
My best friend died of alcohol poisoning at the age of 48! Terrible way to die! In the last year of her life she would drink then have to be hospitalized from the poison ☠️! Finally she was down to one drink then hospital. The sad part is she died with the bottle! If you have a problem try try try again to stop! God bless all of you who suffer
There has never been a human being more mischaracterized by the media than this man.
💯
Dude tried to overthrow an election and is still able to run for president again, stop crying
Von even Suited up for this interview.
Mad respect..
My first thought. DAMM he cleans up nice
@anybodyoutthere3208 not until you kindly pointed it out:)
But yes indeed..
Haven't had a sip for two months now, feels good man. Don't miss it one bit. Really cool seeing you interview Trump dude, he's an interesting man when someone just sits down and talks to the guy, as opposed to all the chopped up, edited news bites.
Welll done you . Its not easy.
Theo at @8:50 : “watch him fly” 😂😂😂😂
Good to talk about addiction openly because there's a huge social stigma attached to it.❤
Wtf how did theo swing this. From carny and lunch ladies to Tommy Lee and Donald Trump
I think Theo said to Dana White that he'd love to interview Trump, and Dana reached out to Donald with the idea for it, and then Barron told him that Theo was great and he should do it, so he did. Trump's always asking all kinds of people for advice, but he really listens to his kids.
He swung it because Trump is losing and his usual hatred and malignant narcissistic BS does not work any more
I wondered the same thing. So glad he did this with Theo not JR
More like a conversation than an interview great job Theo❤
My brother was 12 years older than me and he always told me not to smoke even though he did . He always preached to me how much he hated and wished he never started….. I lost him to lung cancer 2 years ago at only 41 years old
I’m sorry to read that man I hope you’re doing well
I just prayed for you my friend. I hope you and your family are doing better now. My brother overdosed at 44.
Finally someone has a normal conversation with this man. Normally it's either dickriding praise or ignorant hate. Loving this.
TREMENDOUS job asking real life questions.
HUGE respect to Theo being Theo.

Interviewing the worst president in the history of this country. Yes tremendous indeed
Donald Trump asking Theo Von what cocaine is like and Theo answering that it’ll turn you into a damn owl 🦉 and your own porch light is so modern lol 😂
Trump acting as if he doesn’t know is the best
@@Duffyartworkits fair, hes stayed away from it his whole life he'd have no idea
“We ate near there once”😂
"He was an amazing alcoholic"
"Oh i thought you meant like one of the best..."
Bro theo had so many zingers and Trump just did not bite even once.
@@morezombies9685I don’t know how no one else in the comments is quoting that one 😂
@morezombies9685 I think when Theo brought up drugs and alcohol that Trump got serious, bcuz it is a serious topic despite how much we joke about it
@@kirielkid Neah, we can make jokes about it just like anything esle.
@goodyeoman4534 of course we can but the president's job is to help fix those issues. It wouldn't look great if he were joking too much about drugs and alcohol
30 minutes ago today, I hit 30 minutes straight sober. Thank God almighty, forever proud of my story 🙏🙏
hitting my 2 year sobriety from alc on the 28th next week.... as someone who went through it on their own with no help, no rehab ect "my choice cause this was my fault nobody elses" i can confirm it is thee hardest thing to go through. I didnt reach out to people also cause my mindset was theres nobody that can truly help/change you other than yourself YOU need to make the choice. I wokeup one day said enough is enough its time to change and now here i stand that much stronger and that much healthier. #youcandoit
Proud of you man. I can’t even imagine.
@@stayce751 appreciate it, def wouldnt wish that on anyone
Great job!!!! Inspiring..
I did the same thing 18 years ago. Keep it up.
@@imperfectlump6070 nice man 18 years is a great accomplishment! i use to always look foward to my next drink but nowadays i look foward to my next milestone💪
His brother really made an impact on him. Donald is so down to earth, and genuinely cares about others addictions and understands the effect it has on people
Do Trump is no drinking but selling vódka ??? So typical for his kind.😆😆😆
If you think Trump "genuinely cares" about anyone other than himself,
you got a lot to learn about malignant narcissists.
@@bobleonard99ok Bobby now go get those food stamps from the mailbox
@@bobleonard99you are in fact the narcissist.

I'm 4yrs sober in recovery from alcohol. If there is anyone struggling out there, you are not alone.. There are people who live amazing lives in recovery, you can find them in the front of the phone book. 😊
Phone book?

2 years and 1 week sober!
Best change I’ve ever made. It also showed me who was a friend, and who was no more than a party associate. My circle is drastically smaller, but the people I now have in my life are far better!
Lost my father this past fathers day to fentanyl… i detoxed a few months back but relapsed… life is not okay for me right now.
It will be...have you thought about changing that username
Changing your name might help. It's more like a label you don't need for yourself. You don't have to be that person.
Hang in there. Live your life honoring your father's memory. 1 day at a time.
That was actually one of the best things ive watched. Amazing and i didnt no Theo was so long in recovery. Would love to meet him one day
Is it me or does Donald trump feel like the grandfather we've all known and missed.
His demeanour is extremely pleasant and sincere.
dude for real, its crazy how the media just completely portrays him as this hitler-like villain character
This is all on Von because politicians are not themselves when campaigning. Its sounds and feel much faker
@@PKP1 Never seen a politician turn it on for the cameras? Dont be fooled, he’s still the sex-criminal union-busting America-hating Putin-loving weak-willed narcissist his actions have proven him to be.
These two guys having a normal convo is truly a nice refreshment! Thats how EVERY president candidate should be, just having normal convos w normal people
Great job Theo on getting Trump to talk more in depth about his sobriety. I’m three months sober and always wanted to hear Trump talk about it to help me stay clean
It will get easier. Don't have it around and don't go where it will be offered. Especially by people who want you to partake that will try and guilt you into it.
I always am taken back to hear these very successful people who i look up to struggle with addictions that the common person suffers from. Ive always been blessed because i CAN control my drinking and hate doing it except on VERY rare occcasions. My brother and dad were drug addicts so ive NEVER touched them, maybe because im the youngest, and i never had any intrest in smoking cigs. The one thing i did struggle with was weed once it became legal, but gave it up for the Army. Best decision to give it up cause it made me super anxious and it was super expensive. God bless any of you who struggle with ANY sort of addiction. I wish you the best.
Im like him. I had a nasty addiction. Im 8 years sober. I too tell everyone who will listen to stay far away from that stuff.
You have an addictive smile
I love Donald Trump so much. I got sober two months before I voted for him for president in 2016. This story helped me stay clean all these years.
Lmao
IM a recovering addict, I suppose I had a drinking problem too. Alcohol was my gateway drug in college, but it turned into me doing oxycodone as a senior at 22. Graduated college, and I got into law school on drugs. Wrote my application essay high on opiates. Ive had many drug phases: weed phase, alcohol phase, opioid phase. Weed was the least harmful, except for brain fog and blowing my money. Nobody will understand how tragic and horrifying addiction is until you or a loved one has been through it. No cure, except for medications and group therapy/personal change. Trumps logic has validity; If you don’t start, you won’t know what you’re missing.
I started with lots of benzos, whatever one I could get my hands on. Then I started using dilauded and got myself clean off of that then just relapsed on Xanax again Friday. Haven’t used today tho and hoping to keep it that way. We gotta stay strong!
@@GAGEDOES you got this ✊🏼
@@GAGEDOES you got it bro. Never got deep into benzos, but everything I did them something bad happened. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you relapse; take it very seriously, but don’t beat yourself up too much. If you’re really committed to staying away, the rest will take care of itself. Not many certainties in this life, so I wish you the best of luck in all of your endeavors.
My grades went up after I got a med card in college because it was the only thing that eased my anxiety enough to be able to succeed
