Thanks so much for the video! Really nice video with all the highlights covered! Also an even bigger thank you for your help tearing down the booth. It was hugely appreciated! Hope to see you all next year. :)
You’re very welcome and thank you all for putting on a phenomenal show. We are so impressed with you guys and what you’re doing for the industry. You are a very passionate group of people! Loving the products, sold three Altitude 16s to very excited clients in the past two weeks. See you soon buddy! DAV team!
Thanks for your question. Trinnov Waveforming is a design up approach. It’s utilizing a by design Subwoofer array system to create nearly perfect seat to seat bass consistency. A massive bass wave will be produced from the front of the room and the rear active bass array will absorb the majority of the bass so it’s not returned into the room to cause typical acoustical, low frequency issues. Any additional residual that is not absorbed, will get absorbed from the front array. This is not the Dirac approach. ART essentially uses the speakers in the room to try and cancel out standing waves and other issues. The technology is used for a less than ideal environment, but the Trinnov Is more targeted towards a properly set up room with active bass treatments and passive mid and high frequency treatments. Not saying, your environment has to be perfect for Trinnov by any means, but they prefer a controlled environment approach. Frisco TX showroom will display both technologies. Thanks for watching.
Surely is is only for commercial use, I doubt you could even power the subs on a residential power supply and few could afford the electricity bill. Regardless of this, you must get to a point where the sub overwhelms all other sound and or risks damaging your eardrums or even your organs if its too powerful. 80 inch sub...
The application is residential; extreme, high performance immersive home theater. Also, it's worth noting; 100kw of amplifier output ≠ 100kw of supply power One could spec the line side supply at 25% max output and be ok. 4-to-1 is doable 3-to-1 is fine 2-to-1 is overkill (amplifier output power, to line side wall power circuit size) In other words, for example ... the 2:1 slight overkill approach places (2)2400w amplifiers on a single 2400va circuit (120v20a). So, 100kw amplifier output, can be operated on half that much circuit size (2:1 unnecessary overkill). And 100kw output is doable on a quarter of that circuit size (4:1). Modern high power amplification is extremely efficient internally, and extremely friendly on overcurrent protection and circuit size.

Excellent video video informative and good
Amazing visuals!!
I got a chance to listen to the Black Swans the other day and all I can say is WOW!!! They are Amazing!
Nice! Where did you hear them?
@@DivineAV Atlanta Home Theater. They were set up in a 2.1 setup with the 50" sub.
130000 watts. Ok challenge accepted.
I am however interested in the downward firing rear/ceiling speakers.
Nice Video! How does Dirac Active Room Treatment compare or stack up to Trinnov Waveforming Technology and which is better in your opinion?

Even iron man's arc reactor won't have this much power 😂
