The 2016 is trash. Front of the toe box goes straight up instead of at a slant (as it should). Kinda giving it a squarish look at the front. Tumble leather on the swoosh? Since when? I remember the 1985 Jordan 1 clearly. It never had a straight up squarish front toe box, or a tumbled leather swoosh (or anywhere on the shoe in general). According to Nike and Jordan Brand; "Remastered" means to make it as close to the "Original" as possible correct? Clearly a fail beyond bias.👎

So funny you mentioned that, both 2013 and 2016 didnt have them. I have seen the red stamp inside lids before, not sure how consistent they are...

Ive already heard different production dates floating around. foot locker box lids do not have the red stamp in them, shiekh shoes did.

David White that’s a tough one bc the rubber sole is usually hard but slightly soft. I would compare them to the 1s at your local sneaker store. The 1s all have the same sole.

Quick question. I got both deadstock, the 2013 as well as the 2016 black/red but can't decide which one I should wear. Of course, the leather on the 2016 looks better in my opinion, but flightclub lists a higher price for the 2013. So is the 2013 more worth compared to the 2016?
CEO 2013 was a harder release to get so they're worth more. Rock what you like dude. Both pairs are dope.
I bought a model of the Air Jordans 1 black and red that says since 85 in the back, I bought them around 2010 - 2012 which model are they?
I don’t think there was a black and red Jordan with 85 on the back but inside the shoe there’s a tag that has a sku number that you can punch in on Google

I don’t think they’ll be real unless the number rubbed off. Either way ebay authenticates anything over $100 so they’ll reject them if they’re fake.

Good question. I’m not sure honestly. Between the 3 production dates will definitely be diffferent since they were made in different years
