This one and the 055A are probably the best two ships in the entire game in my opinion. Both are set up as my sub hunters..so.. if you are in a sub and on the opposing team, you've probably ran into me at some point in time. 😅
nanchang is a beast in the right hands. Its arsenal volume is ridiculous. Currently I have it with 1x atmaca, 2x brahmos, 1x tmf, 3x rubr-c and 2x tiger shark as the cherry on top. bam!. Defiant X as heli. Deplete its weaponry early for max benefit
Until lvl 25 it doesn't really matter. You can use TMF if you want a more powerful cannon, use Spearfish or Black Shark as a torpedo and have one missile slot with an anti-sub missile (e.g. RUM-Swarmer) if you wanna improve this loadout.
Rail Gun cannon or Erlik 2050 or TMF from the Market 2× Hycore + 1× ATMACA. YJ-12A is a good alternative to ATMACA if you can't buy stuff from the market. You can switch the 2× Hycore to 2× Scalp once you hit level 25. RUR 5B ASROC Grenade launcher. Black Shark Torpedo 5× Pantsir + 1× Crotale for air defense. Switch to 5× Garpun once you hit level 25.

honestly, the best lvl 15 ship is nanchang yh, but the newer ships are better now

Varyag is a waste of money it has very low damage nanchang is faster more agile and have more weapons
