    In GM content in can be hard to get the first proc of devour. I actually default to Nova bomb. With reaper and other mods, you can get your super back really fast. So I'll run through grabbing kills and throw a NB to proc devour and I can usually keep it up via weapon kills. In non-GM/master content, SoF works well because my abilities can usually net me a kill. I do wonder if switching from Bleakwatcher to helion with the new solar artifact mods might be the move now... haven't tried it yet but I'll probably give it a try this weekend.

      with the solar artifact mods it might work better for helion. It would b worth a try

      Get a red bar to low health then finish off with powered melee

    Nothing mentioned about what armor & artifact mods to run?

      @@NOSVIPER1 the only armor you need is the getaway artist exotic. The mods are the standards for any build. Create orbs, get better regen from orbs. Build was made before ACT 2. With the new additions to the artifact I would definitely run the ignitions enhancement since I use Sunshot.

      I could be wrong, but I dont think firepower will generate an orb for an arc soul kill so just don't run that. But yeah, couple surges, couple resists, and other orb gens are ok.

    This build is not as good as everyone says it’s almost like no one has a single original thought

      @@Theone-rv1iq this build is actually really good. It may be a skill issue on procing devour constantly. And for original thoughts…there are people that play 13hrs a day. You come up with something that’s actually viable for something other than a roaming patrol that someone hasn’t thought of

      The build struggle to activate devour sometimes in expert+ difficulty when you're not solo because the turrets etc do very low burst DMG. The DMG is repeated hits so you can end up dying even when things are frozen and you're killing things etc because your teammates will kill the enemies your turrets get low.
      A massive issue in this game is that everything is more or less an on kill effect. With no fire team tagging. This build can sometimes turn useless if you can activate devour and with no fragment to extend devour on prismatic it can get rough if you can get the arc soul to kill something.

      Necrotic grips might be better tbh, I need to play a bit more with it

      If you're still dying....Question - Are you making enough orbs to give you Restoration with Purpose? Are you utilizing your powered melee for the regen? If you have an issue and you are positive these are not the problem....run Dawn to get Restoration from your Powered Melee or a Healing grenade. Devour is not the ONLY method of healing. If you are relying on just Devour in the build....you are playing the build wrong and that is the problem

      @@UnikornPlaysGames the problem isn't orbs or devour, the problem is getting kills to trigger effects that will produce orbs and devour etc
