Sulphur Creek is one of the most famous and wonderful bushstrips of Idaho. This is a must buy for me, very well done, just like the real one. Happy to try it with the new XCUB mod by EzRyder (with Acme Aero undercarriage and bushwheel). The only (big) error is the fire truck that have absolutely nothing to do with a bushstrip in Idaho, and generally speaking with many little airports. Firefighters service is avalaible only in major airports even for the huge costs to pay them! Many brave developers have no idea of the life in a little airport. They always put gas stations everywhere and here, in the middle of mountains where there are no roads and people go around with horses and mules....... a firefighters truck! There are no roads to reach Sulphur Creek! There is an old car in the Goggle hearth wiew but probably was transported years ago with an helicopter. Everything they need must be transported by airplane. They have even written of their site that "they have no direct connection with the outside world". No electric light, no direct telephone connection, no gas, no ..... everything. This is the life in the Idaho mountains. You also must be careful with the aircraft you choose to land there. I have seen an old Bonanza landing there but.... not stricltly recommended a C172RG with that slim and complex undercarriage (that's not so strong) for such bushtrips. People landing there have mostly old sturdy tailwheel Cessnas ( C180/185/206) with special Alaskan tyres or modern tandem bush aircrafts like Aviat Husky, Cubcrafters, Kitfoxs, Rans etc etc. Finally, dear Jonathan, Sulphur Creek if you look at charts is a "one way" airstrip. You MUST land to the west and take off to the east. It is forbidden to land from the west like you have done ..... with a C172RG! Just for knowledge, I like your videos but quite oft I laugh looking at simmers (almost all) making things that in RL would kill them: my flying instructors were right when they sad me that simmers are the worst pilot students because with the sim you "learn nothing but take only bad abits". I was sceptical when they said that but today, after many years of flying gliders, I admit their statements were generally correct. Give a try at the EzRyder mods for the XCUB, they are really nice made. I am working at some RL livery for that plane. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for your overview of this add on. Picked it up yesterday and spotted a crow/raven/blackbird perched on the crest of a roof near the blue jay. Cool scenery.
Milo absolutely nailing it again! This is one I've been waiting for, and it certainly looks like one I can literally "camp" at, park my plane and leave the sound on while I sleep! 😂 He also confirmed it will be updated for FS '24, and I can't wait to actually walk around properly.
Just did an amazing looong VFR over there, marvelous place and great review. Halfway through the flight, a couple of hours before I reached the Ranch I decided to also launch Sayintentions ATC and it skyrocketed the experience.
So close... Sulphur Creek Ranch (ID74) is actually in Idaho, not Montana. Also, they closed a couple of years ago after nearby fires, along with a landslide creating issues.
@@jonbeckett It's some of the most beautiful country you can imagine. Check out Schafer Meadows, it's a strip on US National Forest Service land in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, FAA Code 8U2 EDIT: Just finished watching your video, what an awesome flight!
Congrats on your new acquisition. Enjoy and we will enjoy what you do with it together. Cheers!🎉

Guilty as charged with missing the border in LNM :)
I like to think that most simmers understand that it's just a simulation mate, just saying :)

Looking forward to your views on MS2024 , your contributions are always "spot on"
You know if you want your Carenado planes to have faults..you can set that up with the sim. Nice flying, thank you
Haven't smoke effects improved of late. So much better than the old symmetrical columns we used to get.
Lovely destination.....I have to say the quality of your new computer is definitely noticeable...Well done... Roger
FYI: You missed a little bit of scenery at the pond. Nice video!

I missed the border! Really should brush up on my US geography :)

They have rebuildt all buildings and reopened. Don't remember when, but there are new video of people landing there.
Literally downloading it now on your recommendation, so it had better be good mate :)
Would there be cell phone reception there? (Lady on her cell) lol where I live it's hit and miss (Black Hills, SD)
Great
I really cant understand why did they put that european fire truck in there
