I think it’s important to remember to that we usually act in the way we think is best, it might be wrong, but it’s a learning curve 💚

Loved this! I think so often we are afraid to admit there was a time where we did something “wrong”, or simply didn’t have as much information as we do now. I loved this method of confronting that rather than just deleting everything that might not fit in to where you stand today.
I've definitely noticed a huge change in video quality but yeah also your knowledge base has changed and you've been able to make more significant changes over time

I started out watching you in 2017 and your videos were so helpful for me back then, trying to start my own zero waste journey! I kinda lost track and found you again in 2021, only I didn't realize you were the same person or channel for the first few videos probably because your style had changed so much. I have to say I loved your videos in the past and today. I really enjoy how you've evolved and branched out from zero waste to general sustainability and I thoroughly enjoy your videos, they are so well researched and really important topics, thank you so much!
I have only found your channel recently and found this look back on your journey super interesting. Always good to be reminded that we are all just constantly evolving as people.

I appreciate the constructive / positive ways you evaluate your past self and respond with how you have evolved + your current points of view. This illustrates how important it is to always keep an open mind and seek new ideas/knowledge- it’s how we avoid stagnation and continually evolve! 😊

First, I have to say that almost all the time I watch your videos while I work (sometimes my job gets a little repetitive lol) and I have learned A LOT 😀you are one of the reasons I decided to take small steps towards a zero waste lifestyle and teach my daughter and husband about it. It's so interesting how you speaking about your stile in the past😁 I don't always like my looks when I was younger but definitely liked it then. And just remember this filing how much I liked this or those clothes and how I felt myself wearing it😁

I remember watching a bunch of these old vids and while I prefer your new content now, I liked the longer videos and how you showed visual examples of what you were talking about. Plus the "haul" energy was a good counter to popular content at the time

i like this sort of video and like that you want to look kindly at your younger self at the beginning. honestly i still sometimes got quite a "self-bashing-vibe", when you talk about the canvas bags for example. i would love to see more videos, it would be nice if you could pause the video instead of having two audio-lines, because it makes it really difficult to understand any of them. i also think that talking about tiny tips regarding zero waste was different 7 years ago because then there were many people who knew nothing about this topic so you had to be more detailed! today, noone wants to hear influencers talking about using a canvas bag for 10 minutes, but i know that my younger self would have loved that little canvas bag haul etc.
7 years ago was a different time and I think a lot of things you mentioned in your old videos weren't that obvious to most people back then :)

Your accent will naturally get less prominent the more you practice and speak another language

One thing I have noticed, you seemed to have more of an British leaning accent years ago and a more an American leaning one now.

When i first bumped into your channel i hoarded on your videos, little by little i began reaching your very first videos… it was too much cringing for me, let’s just say the very first time i saw the “old you” my thought was “who the hell is this?” 🤣 i haven’t looked into that Pandora box ever again🤣🤣
