    that fart outro... classic! TH-cam is hypocritical at times, these videos are educational but someone from youtube is probably vegan or a bunny hugger and doesnt understand the importance of conservation through hunting to preserve healthy populations and genetic diversity, so they will demonetise it but they will allow people to post rap videos with half naked women and cursing because you.... its cool.... anyway.... Keep up your art, and your passion

      I've done snakes, no lizards though... The only problem is the bones are so thin and brittle, if you're not careful you will break it before you even get it cleaned...

    • @coreyparker9986
      @coreyparker9986 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what little bit I know about snakes (and someone please correct me if I’m wrong. I’ve personally never done one myself) is there are a lot of very small bones in a snake skull because they are able to stretch their mouths open so big (for eating things bigger/wider than their body is) and because of this you pretty much have to keep up with and reassemble and glue together a pile of tiny little bones after cleaning and whitening. It’s not just a skull and jaw like most animals. Making it much more time consuming and tedious, not to mention how fragile the bones are.

    I'm not even a hunter and i'm repulsed by gore. was prepared to judge you and your gross video but i had to keep watching. now i've watched this video several times and i'm a fan. You sir, are an artist and your methods yield beautiful results. i commend you for taking the extra effort to document in video and teach people like myself how one can take great care to show respect to the animal, to the kill, and to nature, and thus complete the process to have earned a truly beautiful trophy. respect indeed. carry on brother!

    I’m sure you’ve heard of it, but for antlered animals have you ever the 40% by volume peroxide mixed with the white powder developer and paint it on with a brush? I know it’s a little more time consuming and can be a little aggravating trying to get the paste in all the small holes of the skull but for me and the few whitetail skulls I’ve done I’ve been very pleased with it.
    I’m New to the channel and I really enjoy your vids! Very informative and outstanding results! Well done sir!

    Dang, just by the look of the eyes that elk looks so nice and fresh. I wonder if you were able to keep any of that meat you cut off. There's so much of it on the head by itself. If im not mistaken, you usually work on older pieces that aren't able to be salvaged for meat.

    I have a couple questions. I wanna get into this, and maybe do it as a little side job. Do you have to have a pressure washer, or does it just speed up the process? Is the peroxide cheeper than what you use now? And lastly how rough can you be with the skull? I saw you setting the elk on the antlers and nose, and was curious as to what the nose can withstand without being damaged. If you answered these questions, you can just link me somewhere instead of answering them all over again. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
