Poor Roach fought his way through a favela only to get killed by that snake Shepherd. Also, it's amazing how to this day this mission is insanely tense with the constant yelling back and forth between Ghost and Soap, your teammates getting killed, the chase through the favela. It's great.

So during the beginning of the where Meat got the civvies out the way, I would try my best to protect Royce, but no matter how much I tried, he still dies anyway. Good Times.

I played this for the first time on Veteran yesterday and man it takes some time to get though the chase scene. If you take up a lot of time there’s more lines of dialogue between Ghost and Soap I’ve never heard before, cause I always played it on regular on the old MW2. Pretty cool.
Honestly it isnt that much a plot hole. It would be reasonable to declare war on the US since the CIA knew about the attack in advance but did not inform the russian authorities

Lol the BOPE wouldn’t be as incompetent as the characters here. BOPE are specialised In favela operations which, it’s not a stretch to say, is the most difficult terrain for combat in the world. Too many rooftops, windows, narrow alleys, holes on floors of two floor buildings, hills, sometimes small forests etc. It’s 360 degrees combat. It’s hell. Actually, knowing BOPE and how they operate this operation in the game made me cringe lol. On an unrelated note, would be nice seeing a BOPE operator in a COD game for a breath of fresh air. There are some in R6. The same US/UK propaganda over and over gets boring sometimes. It’s not even realistic to imagine the British SAS in a brazilian favela on their own just like they own the place like that. It would be a diplomatic/sovereignty scandal.
