WE ARE TERRIBLY SORRY FOR THE COMMENTS WE ARE RECEIVING IN THIS VIDEO. WE’VE BEEN ACCUSED OF ASKING FOR MONEY WHICH WE NEVER DID. Watch the video carefully and listen to what we said. WE ALREADY PAID FOR THE ENTIRE TRIP, WE NEVER BEG FOR MONEY. We opened up with you, we explained the situation, we posted a video so it’s ok to receive comments and opinions but please be kind and respectful. Thank you
Never even considered you were asking for anything…just sharing what is important to you…we can’t help how people react …glad you cleared the air here with sincerity!!❤❤
I have been extremely dismayed by the comments on this video. Just finished watching it and checked the comments for helpful suggestions. I found almost none. Hang in there, guys. I’ve been following you since I believe Argentina (just before the pandemic).
@@gsabo1000 I worked in travel management for years. A lot of people are not using miles they collected and they are gonna lose it. We asked if someone has some miles that is not using. That’s it. It is very different from asking for money or to pay for our trip.
PLEASE guys - reconsider. Prioritise your health and your new life. Lucky LEAW is an episode of your past. Close that episode with love and gratitude and donate the van. 😘😘
I agree. Luce is a beautiful baby girl. So many horrible things could happen to her. Luca should not be travelling due to his health. Sara is pregnant. There is so much more to consider here than a pile of metal that may in all likelihood not even be drivable. Sized motor, flat tires. A beautiful baby girl. There are no laws there. I pray they will reconsider. There families lives are in jeopardy. These fears are not unwarranted.
God bless them, but they seem to have a very unhealthy attachment to that truck. And they're putting themselves at risk what with health issues and all the troubles in the world (including in Argentina!). I hope they'll reconsider.
Lucky LEAW is a great memory. Maybe Best to leave it as that. Donate it to a young couple with a baby in Argentina who could really use it ❤ so they can make some memories
@gillyhennessy7637 I don't think it's greed that's driving them, at all. It's an emotional decision they need to make, that truck and camper aren't worth much anymore, so, no, it's not about being greedy. Just wanting a good outcome for the truck and camper is what they want, just to be responsible about it.
It was a great adventure and experience. LIVE forward. Save time and money, give it away. If the vehicle has not been driven and remain parked for 4 years, you will be facing about $3-5,000 worth of repairs: battery, gas and brake lines, seals, etc. etc. from being unused.
I agree with above. Donate the truck. I know you have memories with your truck. I recommend not traveling in this period. Sara, you are pregnant. Luca, health concerns. Little Lucia is young. Covid has resurfaced. Sara you got sick going to Tunisia. Better to stay safer at home. I care. ❤
I agree. You paid $2,000 for it .Just abandon it. For what you could get for it now it's not going to be worth all the time and money you're spending. Not to mention health concerns. Sure, it's a nice memory, but you're making new memories now.😉
Especially for a 35 year old vehicle and camper AND A man who is at high risk health wise, a pregnant woman that just got over a serious illness, And a little girl that can’t help herself if both M & D get ill at the same time.
I feel so sorry for you both. You are always open and honest with us all. I love your beautiful family. What a mess for you if you are the only ones that have to be present to move it. I know you won’t like another comment advising you not to go but I care too much not to. Please someone find a solution for this beautiful family. This long arduous stressful trip is iced with potential disaster. Love you guys and everyone stop raving on about pleading poverty or asking for money. You obviously don’t really know, or understand, this gorgeous family and their values.😢
Guys don’t go back please 💚 you have great memories, keep them and let lucky go - donate it or scrap. It’s better for you and don’t put yourselves at risk. 🙏🏻
This is an opportunity to simplify your lives. You have so many responsibilities. Houses properties, health, babies etc. That truck is an object..the adventure and memories are documented i. Videos and your hearts. Simplify simplify simplify 😊
I just wish you both could ask a family member to go in your place so they can attend to the van for you ,really feel none of you are well enough to go,please ask family for there help ,please do this ,just feel it would be rong for you to go , love you all Caroline ,England xx
I think memories are sometimes best left alone. Things are never the same when you revisit. Donate to the man you parked it. I would not put a pregnant woman on that journey. Save the money and take Luca to Germany or US for his medical condition. Wait until both your children are older and do a road trip.
@@janelesniak1817 I am sure they miss their old life. Very understandable. Not everybody is a happy handyman, and after a couple of years of being a parent it becomes the routine nobody ever thought it would. Plus the health scare. And camping in a house ain’t fun for too long either. All in all, a classic life challenge. Whatever drives them to risk health, might save their sanity in the long run. It sounds like a good story they’re telling themselves, that this trip has to be done. To me it sounds like they need a real break, without strangers peaking into every move they make. Onlookers are usually more objective, but those who are living it know what they are running from or towards.
That old truck, filled with your memories, is, in the end, just stuff! Keep the memories. Donate the truck. You have too much to lose by taking that long, risky trip! Please, please DON'T GO! Travel $$ would go a long ways toward taking care of surgery, olive orchard, house projects, etc.
My husband and I lived between two countries for a number of years and he had an older vehicle in the second country. We got rid of it because every time we returned to it he would have to spend a lot of time repairing it. He is an experienced mechanic. This was after the vehicle being parked for
Again, great advice from people who know! I hope they follow this advice. The mechanical integrity of that vehicle will definitely be in jeopardy. My father is mechanic and has many vehicles on his property that people have abandoned, and they have been sitting some for many years. Even though they were running and driving when they first got there, they certainly would not run or drive now. Due to oil coagulation in the engine and even gasoline turning to turpentine. I’ve seen this many times.
I have watched you since the beginning. I have to agree the truck is not worth the expense of getting it. Find someone to give it to. Your health is more important than the truck.
If you haven’t considered a fourth option, you may be able to donate Lucky LEAW to a nonprofit group in Argentina. It would be an excellent farm vehicle.
@@leaw Vehicle donations are sought after by nonprofit groups in North America. I hope you will find a similar opportunity available to you in Argentina.
Yes there must be more options like this one rather than a gigantic expensive trip. You would probably be able to accept the loss if it was going to someone in need.
I love this idea. I saw another TH-cam couple Those Happy Days donate their rikshaw to a dog rehoming charity after their huge trip around India in it.
Please don’t go. Your health is more important than lucky Leaw, which will not be in a great state when you get there. Put your money into Luca’s treatments. X
Wife and I have watched your channel for years. Just donate it to a wrecking yard. Stay in Italy, handle paper process via internet. Allow the nice caretaker a generous donation for his troubles. Many others have advised you to do this. All of your health is far more valuable than that truck. You said you wanted to think with your head. Use the Italian embassy.
Yes, definitely, you should reconsider this decision to go there to take care of the issue. Such a trip could prove to be a nightmare. I am sure you will find a way to deal with it long distance. So many people here, your fans who love you gave you this advice. Best of luck with finding the right way without putting yourselves at risk. Sending hugs and love!
I am concerned about plane cabin pressure on a CSF leak on such a long flight. If you can just save parts of the camper that someone can arrange to ship back that you could then frame & put on wall etc It will always be in your hearts & so much on videos, sure memory will be tarnished if see it in the condition it could likely now be in. Know that we all care about what's best for you all, beautiful family Love+Light 💖
My suggestion is to donate it, maybe the person that allowed you to park your vehicle on his property should be given to him for free , is a way of saying, thank you for allowing you to do this. Maybe if your parents are willing and able to assist you in upgrading your flight that would be a lovely gesture from them. Good luck, stay healthy.
@@nanwilder2853 Agree. What's the need for the entire family to travel ? Ideally, Luca should travel alone. He is an adult grown up man and capable of taking care of the issues himself. Doing 14-hrs flight fora 5-months pregnant woman is not wise decision. In the worst case scenario, Luca can travel together with other relative or friend. Why to torture 2-years old girl with such long and exhausting travel ?
I left my vehicle in an outside storage in Florida, USA for one year. I went back and picked it up and took it to the garage for an oil change and safety check. The tires were no longer any good because they develop flat spots when sitting too long. As well the bumper area had developed bad rust that was not visible. The mechanic told me that he would never let any of his loved ones drive the vehicle back. I took it to a salvage yard. If that is the route you have to choose you need to get proof that you did that in case an unscrupulous person sells it to a member of the public instead of parting it out. You could be liable if they then have an accident.
Different countries have different laws. This may be true in the U.S. but not so in a different country.. I think the idea of donating to a needy couple or person is best idea. Save much health problems possibly and money all around. So excited about your new neighbors!! The Beans❤
@UserGabor locals would know how to utilize it to their needs. Whether(if indeed a rustbucket) they too could make some cash from the good parts I'm sure. Donating to the people they were leasing from was also a great idea I thought, idk.
@@elviraod Donating is all well and good but that will not make you any less liable should someone have an accident or die because of your donation . In that case you could lose everything you own. If you can afford to do all the upgrades to insure this vehicle will pass a safety test and then get a signed document absolving you of fault in the future that is one thing. When you have a family it comes with responsibility for their future so you must put them before any altruism.
I started watching your journey when you were in the United States. I cried tears of joy when you reached Ushuaia, and watching that little clip, I shed a couple more tears. I was so excited for you and your accomplishments. Lucky LEAW was awesome, but that is in the past, time to let him go, and build new memories. ❤
I wouldn't waste money/time on that camper. Donate it to local charity or to the person holding it all this time. They can decide whether it's worth saving or not. Too much expense, & you're both not in best health situation...
I'm going to give you my opinion on this matter...Dont go. Why ? 1). Mold... 2) car repairs....3) your health...4) Rodents in the camper and the engine ...5) sounds dangerous ...6) your young daughter. I'm gonna stop there, but those are my options, and its not worth it, just sell it.
guys, I know that this is really important to you, but as an Argentinian, please do not take a baby to Buenos Aires and eventually to Ushuaia right now. There are a million things that could go wrong and Argentina is an extremely expensive country. I don't know if you would be able to get the permits you need in time once you are there. Please think about it.
Donate the very old truck/camper, as it’s not worth much and so undependable now, after sitting for 4 years with rotting wires and cables in it. It’s just not safe or dependable to drive yourself in let alone your fragile family. It would likely need new tires too as they’ve been sitting and rotting away. Think safety and your lives. M.
Guys, I didn’t expect to read the concern in the comments but I think they have a valid point . please reconsider spending all that money, worrying about what to do with the camper and traveling with medical issues …maybe it’s not necessary. We love you and don’t want anything bad to happen to you.
Just a suggestion, maybe donate it to be used as a van to rescue stray animals from the streets.❤ also alot of covid cases right now, so it is risky to travel too.
Bottom line, Keep your memories and LET GO of your attachment to material things, like this truck. It's just a material thing. Warning: Hold material things loosely. You can't take them with you into eternity. Build for yourself, things that will last for eternity: love, patience, self control, soundness of mind. These things should be more important to one's heart to show in your lives.
I am an international flight attendant for the largest airline in the USA for 15 years now. Air carriers are not allowed to let people switch seats mid flight from one class to another (no matter how much we’d like to help our passengers). Much of the reasoning has to do with security, flow of flight, manifests etc. If you’ve heard of this happening in the past it was either a very long time ago or the crew would be risking their job standing if they were discovered doing this as it simply not allowed. It puts the crew in a very awkward and unprofessional situation. Just letting you know ahead of time so there are no surprises when you receive a “no”. If you’re not fit to fly in the class of your purchase it is recommended not to fly because if there is a medical emergency for either one of you, it risks the safety & operation of the flight. If you choose an exit seat for more leg room, double check that the seat reclines (some do not) & as I’m sure you already know your daughter is too young to sit in an exit seat. Hope this information helps. I truly enjoy watching your program & look forward to all the things unfolding in your future. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us, it is an enjoyable way to pass a little bit of time once a week. I hope you two have a safe, easy journey & you have fun showing Luce where her Dad grew up 🥰
Wouldn't Luca's medical issue prohibit him from flying in the first place? He is in a stable/unstable situation with a CFS leak, and it would be much the same as someone with a high risk of a cardiac event. Would he not need to have medical clearance to fly?
@@LouiseL7740 Hi there, great question! No he doesn’t need a clearance. He can certainly get one for his own piece of mind but it’s not required. It used to be required for women in their third trimester of pregnancy but not anymore. International flight attendants are trained to assist in a live birth; it’s a skill you hope to never to use, as risk of infection to the baby and mother are obviously much higher than in a sterile environment. My suggestion to friends and family who have a medical condition is: the plane effects you comparable to the way a hot tub/jacuzzi effects you (this is why we monitor alcohol consumption on a plane, it effects people more intensely than on the ground)- so if you can manage that, than it’s probably okay to fly✈️🩵

I have read all the comments, I at 77 and as an American, I am telling you that the world has changed greatly since your adventure. You have health and your daughter and unborn to but foremost along with the knowledge that the world you are talking about flying to is a very dangerous on at this time. I follow many internet channels and please rethink this. Your world is in Italy and you have to move forward not backward. Let the emotion go, sometimes we cannot finish things in life. Take your memories and put them where they belong--in the past.
I found you guys during the pandemic and have been religiously following every video since then. You have been a joy for me every week and it has been a blessing to be part of this amazing family! Watching all of those old clips has been quite emotional. If/when you go, please please please wear masks when you travel - be very careful because covid is still very active and I am most worried about you guys getting covid again, especially Sarah!! As for the camper, my advice, as much as I also am sentimental about Lucky Leaw, donating it for someone else’s use or for downstream use of parts is probably the most sensible path. It is so nice that you have all of those videos to document your memories - hold on to those as your monument!
How can you even consider taking this journey. Do you remember how sick the three of you were when in Tunisia? Be grateful that you had that amazing adventure. Live with the memories. You are a beautiful, growing, family. Enjoy what you have and the baby that is due in December. Per piacere!
Personally I would be thinking and researching and saving for Luca’s surgery hopefully in the United States after the baby is born and you are ok to travel. You have great memories with LEAW and those can remain in your hearts. Sell it for parts. IMO. Take care beautiful family. 💙🩷🩷🩷
I’ve been following you since before the “ worldwide event”. Personally, I would sell your truck to the highest bidder and keep moving forward with your beautiful life. I know there are many memories with your old truck but your future is so full and bright. The money you sold from your old camper /truck could be used to improve your properties. Just my two cents! Love your channel and always look forward to your updates! God bless you and yours! Love from the USA 🇺🇸 ❤️✝️🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻
Stay home and focus on your daughter and the new baby. Dont risk what is really important for the sake of a truck, you can still achieve those dreams in the future. xx
In the kindest way possible, I absolutely think you should not go. Especially right now. Everyone is right. Your health is not worth it. I realize you have bought tickets already, but please reconsider. We love you! ❤️🤟🏻❤️
so many are opposed to your trip to Argentina ., including me! two year old, pregnant wife, very old van, your health, etc. not sure of your reason, of course. should consult with your families… i would guess you have reasons you do not share. prayers for protection, discernment and hope. you do wonderful videos . your audience does not need hugely “different entertainment. “speaking for myself…♥️♥️
It was Niki and Carlo who introduced you lovely people to me and many of your subscribers. You have been part of our Sunday routine since then. I’ve also watched your previous videos from your travels in North America, etc. Thank you for sharing your joys, your sorrows and your many blessings. Like so many of my fellow subscribers-I feel the trip to Argentina is foolhardy. Watching your channel has been a choice and privilege for me but for now - I will be taking a break from watching. Please reconsider. ❤ from 🇨🇦
Instead of all the negativity today, I am just going to ask: How is it possible that Luce keeps getting more and more adorable?!? Love, from Paul in SIcily
Trying to give them SOUND ADVICE is not being negative for God's sake. What it is it with this world, that we must applaud every nutty idea just so we don't seem "negative".?
I say this with love for you guys because I have to agree with the overwhelming advice and warnings you are receiving from everyone. This is NOT a good time to be traveling internationally. I have watched you since you came to my attention through Trent and Allie, so I was with you as a viewer through that leg of your journey. C19 is once again, rearing it's ugly head and other things are going on that you may not be aware of that are not in your best interest at this time. Please, please use common sense and listen to the people advising you against this trip right now. It would be terrible for you all, and for those of us who love you guys to see you get sick or stranded again at this time. If it is possible, donate your truck to someone in that country and cherish your memories. Then close that chapter of your life with love. Please stay where you are safe right now.
Doesn't matter if I agree with this plan or not, It's none of our business! Everyone needs to calm the heck down. Keep your air miles if it offends you and you're saving them for a trip. No one ever suggested otherwise! Does no one remember how traumatic those last few months were in South America for these guys? This is unfinished business. They're adults, they can do their own risk assessments for their family without all of us chipping in, they weren't asking permission. Live your life to the full. Make the trip if that's what's needed and say a proper goodbye. You had a huge adventure and it was amazing. Celebrate it and then come home. There may be tears, but there will also be laughter ❤
It looks like they are trying to lock us down again !! 4 years parked in a garden there may be extreme mold issues by now. You have two homes plus the olive grove land now to fill your days. Maybe one of you could just go to Argentina and donate it to someone there for use if it mold free and operational.. it was an exciting adventure in your early life and maybe another camper with room for 4; may be a future adventure for your family!!! Thank heaven you have well documented videos of that first adventure!!! Many things changed when they locked us down…you have survived and thrive, maybe the spirit of adventure will be shared s with your girls and your hearts will soar again. I would follow your common brain(logical thinking) and not try to save the vehicle.plan with your ❤ for a future adventure with the girls!! ❤
I feel it is not a good time to fly for all of you, especially to that part of the world currently. One ought to let go of things that hold you back now. Give it away and be done with it. Never look back, only look forward. You have your memories forever of which can never be taken from you. Life is different now, just as rich in experiences, just in a different way. Stay safe and reconsider such a risky move. My mystic cross ✝️ and intuition say don't travel now. Be safe, beautiful people ❤.
Sress is a KILLER !! Just let go of the past , you have so many projects in Italy demanding your attention, it is not a good idea to fly with both of your conditions. AND, do what ever you want to do, just saying....
I’m literally getting anxiety for them. Why not focus on your life here and now and finish all the projects in Italy? Surely there is no timeline now to deal with the van? Health first
Don't go, it will cost you your peace of mind and a whole lot of money you could use in a much better way now. And don't ruin beautiful memories, because nothing will be the same, it never is. Continue what you're doing now and if you feel like new adventures, do it after the baby is born. Good luck and much love to all of you!
I can't imagine how much love you guys have for this vehicle but sometimes is better to keep the good memories and keep going. Please don't put your selfs on danger situations.
An idea: as Luce wants more of a speaking role, perhaps she could be given one or two sentences to practice (in Italian or English) that could be her special job for the episode.
Dear Sara and Luca - I've read some of the comments below and the general opinion is for you to forgo the trip. Luca, your health should be THE priority. Your upcoming surgery in Germany is THE priority. Sara, your health and the safety of the BABY is your priority. Lovely LUCE is your priority. It is true, no matter how much the memories of the trip, the truck, etc. are of importance of you, NOTHING should come before and above your family. Life is short and unpredictable as it is. The two of you should know that best of all. Please don't risk it. You have so much to keep you busy, so many important projects in Sicily. Concentrate of those, it's more than plenty for the two of you right now. May the good Lord give you wisdom to make the right choices going forward. Much love from SF Bay Area.
I truly agree with what everyone is saying… Keep your memories but leave your van. By donating it, you may be able to help a charitable organization and include them in your video to get them additional support. Please do not put your lives at additional risks. 🙏🏻
Been following for years !! That camper was dangerous when u were driving it!! Can't imagine it now after sitting for four years!! Donate it for sure!! If you do go leave Luce at home!! Yes hard but you have enough to worry about!! And you'll save money!! Be smart!!
My mother always said: Treasure the memories and never go back. It's wise advice and since Argentina has some VERY bizarre rules and regulations, my advice would be to stay home, sign the vehicle over to the landowner, so that it can be moved and disposed of and treasure your memories as they were.
Love you guys! Luca, you never cease to amaze me when it comes to all these different projects. You are incredible.❤. I can imagine all the emotions that you both are experiencing in regards to the journey ahead. I wish I could help in some way. All I can offer are my best wishes and prayers.
You have very happy memories of Lucky LEAW, don't turn them into bad ones, things could easily go wrong in Argentina. You have your memories, donate the van to a worthy cause. Please stay home!!!! Love from Melanie from England ❤❤
You can send a "Power of Attorney" to Aldo or any legal lawyer to represent you in Argentina. Save the money and the time, My personal opinion: Is not a good time to travel to Argentina. (Soy Argentina viviendo en Canada por 30 anos) Good luck!!, this can be a nightmare.
It’s good to get advice from someone who is actually from that country. I would heed this advice. So many people have made so many really good comments about the situation. So far I haven’t read one that says yay go for it. Head to Argentina and ship your vehicle back to Italy.😂
Please reconsider this trip. Traveling pregnant and with a baby can affect Luca and Sara's health; anything can happen. All plans are not good. They are plans and some do not need to be executed. I hope your families have asked you to reconsider this as well.
Yes I agree. I hope everything works out but I can’t imagine taking such a journey with all the health issues involved. Such a small child involved too. Why jump from one incomplete project to another to another?
I agree, it’s not the soundest of decisions and without risk and wouldn’t advise it, however…. viewers will appreciate that they are TH-camrs with an eye for content and taking the simplest and safest options doesn’t encourage “clicks”. Having said that, they are an extraordinary couple and I haven’t the courage to do what they do so have no right to judge.
I don't understand why you are going back.to Argentina. It will cost you more to fly, rent a car, hotel etc. Someone suggested donating the car or send the Owners Title to a junk yard and be done with it. You are putting such unnecessary pressure on all of you, I hope you reconsider.
Yes, that’s true, and yet for the sake of putting closure on that chapter of their life, not to mention it will complete the documentary film of the Lucky LeaW adventure, Luca and Sara should consider all their options.
I just know that the Corona Virus variants is bad all over. Being immune compromised you need to limit your exposure asap. Being exposed on a plane is not good at anytime. But on a long flight ? Plz do t do it! It takes a week for it to show and you probably won’t have access to the latest medication. If Luka doesn’t get sick remember how ill Sara was recently. What if both of you get ill or all three at the same time. Who takes care of you especially L & L?
I love your guys videos and appreciate your beautiful openness and honesty. As a fellow avid traveller who has had lots of nostalgic equipment that I wanted to save for the memory, it’s simply not worth it, especially with that truck/camper. The beautiful thing is you’ve documented so much of your life with that truck so that’s your memories! With hundreds of videos and photos, you already have way more memories than most people ever have with that. Save the money and leave the truck or have it sold. Enjoy the new memories you’re making!
So sorry you’ve had to stress about this. As others have said, I think it’s putting a great toll on you both to have to travel back to Argentina, both from a health and financial standpoint. Perhaps donating the van is better option. What ever your decision, hoping it goes smoothly for you! 🥰
I believe a donation to the farmer or a couple who may need a place to live or travel would be amazing , that way it can continue to make memories ❤️❤️
Are you aware of the TH-cam channel, Samuel and Audrey? They are the couple from Canada who also spend half of the year in Argentina renovating a home as well as a hotel complex? They may be able to give you some great advice.
Yes as for Lucky, I would try and sell it first but, demolishing it is poasible. If you choose to demolish Lucky then I would keep and or sell peices if Lucky to fans :) Lucky will always be in our hearts no matter what you choose.
Donate the camper….you don’t need to go to Argentina and put your family’s health at risk. So much bureaucracy, expense, for really nothing. I don’t know how much you can get done in that timeframe. The electricity wiring is coming along nicely.
Please don't go. You are pregnant , Luca has had strokes, and it is not fair on little Luchia to fly all that way to collect what is technically an old van. It is in the past. All the great memories are in your head and your heart. It's time for new memories with your new baby on the way. ❤❤❤ xx
Time to let it go guys, your health and the babies safety is so much more important than that trip, donate the vehicle to another couple to continue the journey, wherever that may be. ❤❤
I believe in everything you’ve done..except this. You have waaay too much to lose going back (health, safety & money)- I agree with others. Donate Lucky LEAW 🚚🙏🏼
I LOVED watching your adventures in North, Central and South America!! I highly recommend that EVERYONE goes back to watch those early videos. Love you both and I have enjoyed watching your adventures in life.
I don't comment often but I had to with this one...Luce is growing so fast I can notice changes in her between the videos...!!!...She is a marvel, and your both blessed to have such a daughter! Regarding this wiring technique, it is both impressive and aesthetically pleasing. I am confident that you will successfully accomplish this task, as it falls well within the skill set of a DIY enthusiast.
Wow, another huge and demanding enterprise! First I thought those stunningly beautiful cables and porcelain switches were your big announcement… 😅 All the best for finding the best solution for your vehicle. May the force (and the health) be with you. 💖
Hi Sara and Luca - Please consider the option of drafting a power of attorney document (POA). You could legally empower someone in Argentina, either a friend or an attorney to act on your behalf to sell the camper truck - which I think is your easiest option. You can hire an attorney in Italy to draft the POA and go to the Argentina embassy in Italy to get it notarize. I hope this is helpful. My wife and I have been watching your adventures since the beginning in Canada. We love your videos and beautiful family. Good luck and be well - Michael and Christine.
I"m a retired US customs broker. Generally there is bond involved to assure that you re-export the vehicle. In any case, hire a customs broker to do this all for you, you may have to hire one anyway even if you go there yourself. The broker will advise on the options available in Argentina and their cost.
I have watched your channel for years. Donate the truck and camper To the wrecking yard and keep your memories on film and in your heart. With your health and Sara’s pregnancy and taking a two year old, I just don’t see how the benefit outweighs the risk for everyone. You are not two single people anymore on this adventure , you are a family and need to look at it from family eyes. I used to own a wrecking yard with my husband and trust me that truck and camper is NOT worth all the money you would be spending on it. I care about your family and love you 🥰
I think all you have said is true ...but i think what Sara really needs is a break & a real vacation ...one not too far from home where she doesn't get sick again ...& one close enough to a hospital if Luca suddenly needs help. Maybe Greece would be nice? Or somewhere more exotic like Singapore or Bali where I believe they still have great medical facilities? Or even Argentina ....but don't stress out over the truck!!! Let it go & give it to a young family who may need it. 💗💞💖
Guys. I love watching you every Sunday. Argentina governement cannot do anything. I have 2 suggestions: Power of attorney to Aldo and transfer a money to him to pay to relocate the vehicle for donation or demolish. Or just abandon the vehicle.
Whew, I remember that tensed time for you both. I've been around for years, since you were on with Trent and Allie in Mexico. You all only had a few thousands of subs, oh how you've grown. Best to both of you. LEAW truck has gone through many things and memories. Donate it to another couple if possible so it can continue to adventure.
You three (and especially number 4) are precious. You have your hands full and medical issues in tow. The donation of lucky leaw surely has to be the best option. Your lives are way too important to add stress. Enjoy these days and the future. Thankfully we all and especially you, have all the recorded memories linked to that amazing vehicle. Take care of what's important. YOU ARE TRULY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE ❤
I agree about donating the truck. It's just an object. It is not an end, but a way to move on. You have the TH-cam videos to keep your memories (and share them with your daughters). Ask the Italian Embassy for help.
I totally agree with all the comments here. Do not go, it would be foolish to take such a health risk for the 3 of you. Ask the ambassador for help and donate it to the gentleman who kept it and he will sell it for parts. Move on ! Don’t risk your lives and spend good money over bad.❤️
Your memories are in your heart and soul, not a hunk of metal. Donate it, know you’ve done someone a good thing. And you’ve maintained your health and safety and those of your child and baby-to-come.
I have also watched LEAW for several years, and particularly loved seeing what you did with your home in Northern Italy, and what you are doing with this one in Sicily. Like many others, I was astonished that you would want to bring back to Italy the very old Camper, which is probably in even worse shape after 4 years sitting in a field in the elements. It just doesn't seem that it would be necessary, nor advisable, for either of you too travel all those miles to deal with this matter. It certainly doesn't seem , to many of us, knowing all the things that need to be done to your home in Sicily to make it more livable, especially with a new baby on the way. Some people HAVE made some unkind comments, but most comments are from people who care about you, feel they know you like family, and think that this is not at all a good idea. I also was of the opinion (and it's just an opinion, not a criticism) that you not take Luce and that she should stay with one of her Grandmothers. I am sure the criticisms have upset you, and I'm sorry about that, but I think you should expect some of your followers to have strong opinions about this matter, as it really just doesn't make any sense to many of us.
I remember the days of Lucky Leaw, and those difficult lockdown days in Argentina. I understand the difficulty of bureaucracy especially in a foreign country, I wish you guys the best of luck dealing with everything 💖
No, no and no! You have enough on your plate and health issues both of you ! Enjoy your projects in Sicily! And stay healthy and welcome a healthy baby!😘❤️
Please guys. Reconsider. I was with you from the beginning of your channel. The challenges were horrible. Now you are pregnant, Lucas health is not good and you have your sweet baby to think of. Please Reconsider. Think this out more properly. Donat the truck to the owner. Please dont do this. You can so easily loose everything. YOUR LIVES. Your babies. Your husband. Please think about this. Love you all so much. Please stay safe. ❤❤❤
Donate it to the person where it is parked. Keep the memories safe and invest all the money that you can save it and build new memories. Think of your health.
You guys are beautiful people and a beautiful family. Cherish what you have accomplished right now. Hold on to it. Don’t put this gift in harms way. I can’t wait to see how you finish the kitchen and the now electrical project. Don’t look back ….. look ahead. To a bright, happy and beautiful family of four.❤️❣️🙏🏽
Those writing comments about the health and risks to travel, kindly think how you write, as the stress from these comments is also very bad for mental and physical health and will no doubt cause deep worry, sadness and poor sleep. They are a lovely family.
I’ve read a lot of great comments and simply gloss over the negative ones. Do your best to do the same. We love you!!❤
🥰🥰
I completely agree!!
But what to do now with the airline tickets?! It just never ends, does it?!
me too!
Lucky LEAW is a great memory.
Maybe Best to leave it as that.
Donate it to a young couple with a baby in Argentina who could really use it ❤ so they can make some memories
That’s a great idea imo.
The more you want....The less you get. Stop
We are concerned for the health of the family, the risk is high. The stress of journey adds to risk level.
@gillyhennessy7637 No-one is asking you to watch!!
Good advice! Memories such as you have made with Lucky Leaw are priceless. .. But, you cannot step into the same river twice. Time to say Arivederci.
COVID? Please!! 🤦♀️
Guys don’t go back please 💚 you have great memories, keep them and let lucky go - donate it or scrap. It’s better for you and don’t put yourselves at risk. 🙏🏻
This is an opportunity to simplify your lives.
You have so many responsibilities.
Houses properties, health,babies etc.
That truck is an object..the adventure and memories are documented i. Videos and your hearts.
Simplify simplify simplify 😊
So true!
Absolutely! … I so hope they reconsider this decision ❤🙏🏼
DO NOT GO DOWN THERE PLEASE!!!!
Especially being pregnant.you could get sick.😢❤️🇺🇸
I just wish you both could ask a family member to go in your place so they can attend to the van for you ,really feel none of you are well enough to go,please ask family for there help ,please do this ,just feel it would be rong for you to go , love you all Caroline ,England xx
Mind your business! They are adults and have done well without you so far.
I think memories are sometimes best left alone. Things are never the same when you revisit. Donate to the man you parked it. I would not put a pregnant woman on that journey. Save the money and take Luca to Germany or US for his medical condition. Wait until both your children are older and do a road trip.
"memories are sometimes best left alone".....wow, you said it all !! live in the present, for it's a gift.
Amen.
This was after the vehicle being parked for
Agree100%🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Again, great advice from people who know! I hope they follow this advice. The mechanical integrity of that vehicle will definitely be in jeopardy. My father is mechanic and has many vehicles on his property that people have abandoned, and they have been sitting some for many years. Even though they were running and driving when they first got there, they certainly would not run or drive now. Due to oil coagulation in the engine and even gasoline turning to turpentine. I’ve seen this many times.
Not turpentine. But you need turpentine to loosen up the varnish that is created by the old gasoline.
I think this is the best option
Brilliant idea, thank you. Hopefully bureaucracy will allow this fourth option
Exactly. Why not take a road trip to Germany and meet the doctor instead?
Wife and I have watched your channel for years. Just donate it to a wrecking yard. Stay in Italy, handle paper process via internet. Allow the nice caretaker a generous donation for his troubles. Many others have advised you to do this. All of your health is far more valuable than that truck. You said you wanted to think with your head. Use the Italian embassy.
All of your health is far more valuable than that truck.
It seems they like taking risks 😅
Yes, definitely, you should reconsider this decision to go there to take care of the issue. Such a trip could prove to be a nightmare. I am sure you will find a way to deal with it long distance. So many people here, your fans who love you gave you this advice. Best of luck with finding the right way without putting yourselves at risk. Sending hugs and love!
You are making a rash decision....forget the car....the trip is absurd in light if health issues and expense .
If they (irrationally) decide to go, Luce should be in the care of grandparents!
@@GoogleAccount-hz2co great idea! They will loose too much money geting the van bsck home
@@nanwilder2853 I agree that would be a less expense for them and it’s only for nine days and the grandparents are capable of taking care of Luce
I agree with everyone else here. Donate it. Junk it. Not worth the effort. You have good memories and that’s that.
Leave EVERYTHING is your motto! Follow your own advice!
Wise words 💜🙏🏼
Amen! I'm mortified that they are even considering doing this. It's like a terrible episode of hoarders.
Leave everything AND WANDER!!
Guys look at what everyone is saying, they can’t all be wrong. Please reconsider this move. ❤️
Scrap yard is the best option
@@elviraod Donating is all well and good but that will not make you any less liable should someone have an accident or die because of your donation . In that case you could lose everything you own. If you can afford to do all the upgrades to insure this vehicle will pass a safety test and then get a signed document absolving you of fault in the future that is one thing. When you have a family it comes with responsibility for their future so you must put them before any altruism.
@@tracykrinke9109 very true. I misread your original comment.
Great accomplishments yes..... Lucky LEAW was awesome, but that is in the Past.....time to let him go, and build new memories.
Agree. You are not thinking straight guys! too much expense and travel ..for a memory.
guys, I know that this is really important to you, but as an Argentinian, please do not take a baby to Buenos Aires and eventually to Ushuaia right now. There are a million things that could go wrong and Argentina is an extremely expensive country. I don't know if you would be able to get the permits you need in time once you are there. Please think about it.
Right on, sister!
They left the camper outside Buenos Aires, not in Ushuaia. They won’t even have time to drive back down there.
Very sensible advice. I hope they will take it. I think it’s quite risky
Luce has changed so much in the last few months, not a toddler anymore.
Shes so darn cute!!!
Think safety and your lives....
1000% ... you cant' just pick up and drive a vehicle that's been sitting idle at all and especially 4 years!
Tires out of round, wires truck and camper chewed by mice/rats. Rat nest in engine?
Oh, and those camper seams, I'm positive you've got water intrusion, mold, soft spots.
Bottom line,
Keep your memories and LET GO of your attachment to material things, like this truck.

Or...DON'T GO AT ALL.

She is one of the most joyful, contented children I’ve ever known. A huge credit to her beautiful parents. ❤
Trying to give them SOUND ADVICE is not being negative for God's sake. What it is it with this world, that we must applaud every nutty idea just so we don't seem "negative".?
@@Laura-g1c1l Calling people nutty isn't sound advice it's just rude! Go away
You have all your memories. You have all the video footage. I agree with most all the comments that you should not go.
Well said!!! I'm very surprised at all the discouraging comments.
OMG DONT GO !!!!!!
Sress is a KILLER !! Just let go of the past , you have so many projects in Italy demanding your attention, it is not a good idea to fly with both of your conditions. AND, do what ever you want to do, just saying....
Plus Covid is more prevalent again
Love it
Agreed

Most of viewers are concerned for their health. Stress adds to risk. I am not judging their decision, only loving concern.
AMEN.
Amen, amen, amen!!!
I agree!
You MUST let the camper go. Let it go! Move on! Be MUST be practical.
ABSOLUTELY.
I think the videos is what preserves that truck. I’d suggest scrap it. ❤
I don't understand why you are going back.to Argentina. It will cost you more to fly, rent a car, hotel etc. Someone suggested donating the car or send the Owners Title to a junk yard and be done with it. You are putting such unnecessary pressure on all of you, I hope you reconsider.
They have to go in person according to Argentine laws.
Yes, that’s true, and yet for the sake of putting closure on that chapter of their life, not to mention it will complete the documentary film of the Lucky LeaW adventure, Luca and Sara should consider all their options.
@@msvg3 Several yrs nada has happened .. what's going to change?
I just know that the Corona Virus variants is bad all over. Being immune compromised you need to limit your exposure asap. Being exposed on a plane is not good at anytime. But on a long flight ? Plz do t do it! It takes a week for it to show and you probably won’t have access to the latest medication. If Luka doesn’t get sick remember how ill Sara was recently. What if both of you get ill or all three at the same time. Who takes care of you especially L & L?
@@beverlyhendricks9456 Well said. I haven’t watched the video yet - just reading the comments. Don’t travel.
I’m pretty shocked by your news. I’m surprised the government of Argentina can’t manage ‘abandoned property’ without all the risks you will be taking.
Upward and onward. Please listen to all of your kind subscribers. You are in no condition to fly Sara. 💕
What a great aesthetic choice for your wiring! I hope it will also be childproof.
Great idea❤
I just told them the same. Daniel got a similar problem...
Thanks! Good luck on your journey back to Argentina ❤
Please don't go.
You are pregnant , Luca has had strokes, and it is not fair on little Luchia to fly all that way to collect what is technically an old van. It is in the past. All the great memories are in your head and your heart. It's time for new memories with your new baby on the way.
❤❤❤ xx
Luca needs the sea (level) environment to heal.......not 40,000 feet
Time to let it go guys, your health and the babies safety is so much more important than that trip, donate the vehicle to another couple to continue the journey, wherever that may be. ❤❤
I believe in everything you’ve done..except this. You have waaay too much to lose going back (health, safety & money)- I agree with others. Donate Lucky LEAW 🚚🙏🏼
Please check with your obstetrician to make sure a 14-hour airline trip is safe. Many women have premature births after long flights.
There is a lot of radiation on a flight. Please dont risk your baby’s health.
This is sadly true - I had a miscarriage after only a 4 hour flight … it’s not worth the risk - I so pray they reconsider 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I love your parrot! Not many 2 year olds learn about wiring in a second language 😊
I"m a retired US customs broker. Generally there is bond involved to assure that you re-export the vehicle. In any case, hire a customs broker to do this all for you, you may have to hire one anyway even if you go there yourself. The broker will advise on the options available in Argentina and their cost.
Hire a broker to ship a worthless piece of scrap? His fee is would be more than the ACV of the truck! BAD advice!
I have 2 suggestions:
Power of attorney to Aldo and transfer a money to him to pay to relocate the vehicle for donation or demolish.
I'm sure that truck would be a priority case for Ambassy ;)))
Praying you can resolve the situation in a way that keeps you all safe. Sending much love! ❤️
Why ask ?? You already have made a choice .. yes suffering from mistakes hopefully will create wisdom when having to make future choices ..
Donate it to the person where it is parked. Keep the memories safe and invest all the money that you can save it and build new memories. Think of your health.
LET IT GO. That this is even a discussion about a junky truck is mind boggling.
