Many greetings from Germany! 🌻 What I admire most is, that you have your daughter with you and have not given her to another social institution for care! Yes that was a judgmental statement and they may end up doing that. The socialization for children is also important. Parents have a hard enough time and it is not an easy decision
You admire them for having their child with them? Obviously if you 'work from home' like they do, it's easy to have your child with you lol. They haven't had to sacrifice anything to achieve this so I don't understand what there is to admire. And also, how can you admire any parent who displays their child on the internet for every pervert and crazy person to see? Not protecting their daughter by not prioritizing her safety and privacy is nothing to admire lol. And the fact that so many of you are ok with it is unbelievable.
I've seen most of your videos and you really try to help everyone! Whether trees, property, your health and buying property in Italy. You guys are so kind ❤❤❤ It was interesting watching you and also when Nikki bought her house in Tuscany... what a contrast!! I wish everyone luck in all their endeavors ❤❤❤
Yes, Nicki and Carlo from the Positano Diaries YT Channel experienced a nightmare trying to buy their house in Tuscany. When they eventually got the keys to move in, the old owners had gutted the inside. Nicki and Carlo had to spend alot of money to fit bathrooms and the kitchen back. The old owners took globes so there were no lights, etc. It was terrible. It was a shell. Disgusting behaviour from the sellers who made the purchase a nightmare from the start. One should be very careful when negotiating with sellers to make sure that what you see is what you are buying, not a shell by the time you get the property. If you move into a house you need a kitchen, stove, a bathroom, basin, toilet, lights, etc. Be careful. I believe it is difficult to buy a property in Italy. If you have Sara and Luca holding your hand it would be better but I'm sure they can't do that for all and sundry all the time.
@@ail-on3px the ceilings are illegal and will be fixed by sellers if they wish to proceed with purchase. Maybe they will go ahead and maybe not but Sarah and Luca have been great.
@UserGabor it seems like Italy has so many strange codes. The seller probably should have done an inspection before listing it. The problem with that is that if nobody buys it, which seems to be the case in Italy, then the seller wastes money on an inspection of a house that never gets sold. Italy might want to ease up their strange codes to help those towns keep from becoming ghost-towns. Instead, they could check the strength of the structure... some of those old house have been up for centuries so structural integrity and strength over bathroom location seems like a no brainer. This is why I would never buy a house in Italy. Too much nonsense coding.
@@ail-on3px An inspection is free in Italy? That's great. Other countries have to pay out of pocket. The buyer could spend a lot of money on inspections until they find a good house.
Love to see how the different You Tube family’s support and help each other out. It’s great to see the love and kindness that takes place as we see too much negativity nowadays. There are acts of kindness everywhere. We just need to share it.
I would be interested in renting a place for three months each year, preferably in Palermo. I would think that a lot more people, especially retirees, would be equally interested in this type of place to stay. The reason being is that Europe in general limits tourist visas to 90 days. So for most of us, I would think, are only financially able and interested in staying in Italy for 90 days a year. I think somebody could do really well with a business of renting to people like us, reasonably of course, for 90 days at a time. I would love more information on such if it already exists. ❤
It's illegal because of Italy's weird codes, (what's wrong with the bathroom if it's structurally solid), and the sellers probably got the signatures before getting a house inspection because who wastes money on an inspection if the house is never going to sell. People have to realize that we only see a small part of their life. It’s like a TV show it’s for entertainment purpose. If you enjoy watching them do so if you think you have a say in how they live then you probably should move on.
And is it also not important to realize that if they decide to share something with us, then, normally, we might have a reaction to what is being said, especially if some of us see that move as potentially harmful. In that regard, this is a two way interaction. How irresponsible if we just sit here as passive participants and do not express our concern. The fact that so many had concerns about what was being proposed is telling within itself. I also would think that even though they may be overwhelmed by the comments last week, it would be helpful for them to express themselves to this point and to state that that was the case and also know that not everyone is going to agree with their plans. This understanding and mutual dialogue can provide a more rewarding experience for all who choose to participate in this channel. Gracias. Shalom.

Our experience buying a restructured apartment in the centro storico in Trapani last year was a little more complicated and took longer. In addition to the realtor and geometra and notaio, there was also a lawyer and and engineer involved. This was because the property had a large mortgage on it, and it had multiple owners. Also, parts of the restructure required a sanitario to be in compliance as there was construction done after the WWII bombings so there was a question of when different parts of the building were constructed. So maybe it's less risky to buy some houses than others.

@@dardaraveiga6512 Please don't speak ignorantly because your misinformation is WRONG! Property tax laws as well as closing costs will indeed cost ANYONE more for a second home in Italy, whether you are a "foreigner" or not! Furthermore, the property taxes for second homes are low because they are based on the cadastral value, which is mostly much lower than the purchase price. Full time residents (which are both citizens as well as foreigners) will not pay any property tax on their primary residence (Prima Casa). FOREIGNERS are NOT discriminated against in real estate because the rules apply to everyone regardless of their citizenship or nationality. The only exception in Italy is if a foreigner's country of origin does not allow Italians to buy property in their county, Italy will impose the same rules on the citizens of that country.
Thanks for all the information. I hope to meet you one day. You’re so nice. I hope everything goes well with your trip to Argentina. ♥️ from Puerto Rico

I heard that Canadians cannot buy a second home in Italy right now. Something about tariffs or something about the Canada and Italy government thing. If you are a Canadian, you should look into that before making an offer! :)
question: 1. If you purchase the house but live there only 6 months each year, can you hire a 'property manager' to collect your bills, pay them with a Italian bank account, watch over the property while you're away? 2. Can you rent out the property via Ab&b or through other services or even through your personal property manager? Thanks for your informative video. And finally, 3. Do you need to apply for and receive a 'residency permit' to purchase a house? If so, can you do a video on the process of applying and receiving a residency permit? thanks!

When you say "furniture", sometimes that means the kitchen (ALL of it), or all of the bathroom.
Amazing job! 60k views in such a short period of time. You must be flattered and happy!
What a lovely episode, thank you both so much for allowing us this knowledge.
Saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱.
Se les extraña por estás tierras...
No me perdí ningún vídeo por Chile...👌👌
Thank you for your information. Enjoyed you helping the Travel Beans. ❤❤❤
Your life is so beautiful! Love all of your videos!😊❤️
Saw the Beans bought that cute house with the small rooms you showed a while back. GOOD ON YOU getting them somewhat settled...FUn. Enjoy your journey of bringing people to your village. Great job and wonderful information. Vai Vai Vai. Gina in Upstate New York USA moving to Italy/Portugal
Very helpful information. I moved some years ago to Italy and would have been happy having this info then.
Thank you beautiful family!
You also need residency, or be prepared to use your home at most 90 days out of 180
The man rebuilding his stone house has been refused a visa. He comes from America. Seems Italy not that welcoming.
Italy is very welcoming to Americans but there are rules of eligibility that one must meet to be granted a Visa.
@UserGabor These comments were in reference to NON EU Citizens.
Italy is a terrible place to invest or live in. Discriminating tax laws against foreigners for buying and for owning a property.
I love your blouse that looks like lemons on it.
I was hoping to see Luce this morning.
Thanks for all the information. I hope to meet you one day. You’re so nice. I hope everything goes well with your trip to Argentina. ♥️ from Puerto Rico
Good morning, 🌄 an unusual assistance to those people who want a piece 🧩 of the beautiful 🥾. Caio!
Sorry to hear you had to deal with awful comments - che palle! Ignore people and don't let it get you down because we love you, we appreciate you and you certainly brighten up my week. Sunday is my favourite night, LEAW and Positano Diaries and (I so hope the Travel Beans are able to purchase another home in your town as I love seeing you guys together as well as with Nicky and Carlo).

I heard that Canadians cannot buy a second home in Italy right now. Something about tariffs or something about the Canada and Italy government thing. If you are a Canadian, you should look into that before making an offer! :)
So sorry that anyone would be mean! You need to do what YOU believe is best.
Great content ! Looking forward to the 🇦🇷trip, great country and friendly people.
question: 1. If so, can you do a video on the process of applying and receiving a residency permit? thanks!
No Luce today! I Missed her 😅
Thanks for all this valuable info guys! 🙌🏼🙏🏼
Thank you, very good information and very similar to the U.S. The Notary is like Title and escrow. Didn't know about the car situation. Can you buy a Vespa? We would just rent a car for the long trips.
WOW! Thanks! I'll be doing just this in the spring-in Sicily...Love you guys!

Buongiorno, LeAw.
Thank you for your beautiful videos. Beautiful moments!! Your daughter reminds us of our granddaughter Eloise- so full of life and so curious and expressive!! We are retired American educators considering moving to Italy with our social security. my teacher's pensions, and rental property to qualify for the Elective Residence Visa ERV (Residenza elettiva). We hope to tour the country in the spring. Please feel free to share any advice or recommendations. We are interested in purchasing a home in the 7% zones. We like the idea of helping a village grow. Plus I think there may be more expats than in other regions. Bari looks good bc it has a train station. We love to travel by train!
Grazie!
