I didn't become financially independent until I was in my late 40's, and I'm still in my 40's. In addition to having purchased my second home and earning money on a monthly basis through passive income, I've also achieved three out of five goals. I just hope this inspires someone to realize that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of these things yet, you can start today no matter your age. Change your future by investing! I made a rather big decision by investing in the financial market…
Investing in many sources of income that are independent of government paychecks is the prudent thing that everyone should be thinking about right now, especially given the global economic crisis. Good assets, and digital currencies are still good investments at this time.
To be honest, investing rightly today can save you a whole lot of stress in the nearest future.
This is superb! Information, as a noob it gets quite difficult to handle all of this, and staying informed is a major cause, how do you go about this are you a pro investor?
All thanks to Jaspreet Singh with his investment advice, at least I can afford a good home and also have to retire early.
As a beginner in this, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable.
Jaspreet Singh is also my trade analyst, he has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.
Hello, beautiful family! I am very sad to read again some inappropriate comments, wanting you to show this or that as if it were your obligation. Please do not let yourselves be shaken by a few people. I am sure that most of us, followers, including myself, love you very much and want nothing but the best for you. Thank you for all today's content and I hope to see your beautiful smiles next Sunday. A big kiss to the four of you!
Thank you, beautiful people, Sara and Luca for all your valuable information on purchasing a house in Italy .
Love Always Wins ❤❤❤❤
I miss sweet Luca! Her smile starts my Sunday off so well!☺️
Luce 😊
👍👍👍👍
I've seen most of your videos and you really try to help everyone! Whether trees, property, your health and buying property in Italy. You guys are so kind ❤❤❤
It was interesting watching you and also when Nikki bought her house in Tuscany... what a contrast!!
I wish everyone luck in all their endeavors ❤❤❤
Yes, Nicki and Carlo from the Positano Diaries YT Channel experienced a nightmare trying to buy their house in Tuscany. When they eventually got the keys to move in, the old owners had gutted the inside. Nicki and Carlo had to spend alot of money to fit bathrooms and the kitchen back. The old owners took globes so there were no lights, etc. It was terrible. It was a shell. Disgusting behaviour from the sellers who made the purchase a nightmare from the start. One should be very careful when negotiating with sellers to make sure that what you see is what you are buying, not a shell by the time you get the property. If you move into a house you need a kitchen, stove, a bathroom, basin, toilet, lights, etc. Be careful. I believe it is difficult to buy a property in Italy. If you have Sara and Luca holding your hand it would be better but I'm sure they can't do that for all and sundry all the time.
@@janinedevilliers510 yes, and we probably just heard about some of the nuisances... must have been extremely distressing.
Many greetings from Germany! 🌻
What I admire most is, that you have your daughter with you and have not given her to another social institution for care!
In this way, you are paving her way through life with love and attention and she can walk it emotionally safely!
Nothing is more important than that, the first years of our childhood - for our whole life!!
I wish you strength for all the next steps!
Be blessed as a whole family! 🕊️
Genau.
It's ideal. Unfortunately some of us have to work outside the home and don't have family nearby.
Yes that was a judgmental statement and they may end up doing that. The socialization for children is also important. Parents have a hard enough time and it is not an easy decision
You admire them for having their child with them? Obviously if you 'work from home' like they do, it's easy to have your child with you lol. They haven't had to sacrifice anything to achieve this so I don't understand what there is to admire. And also, how can you admire any parent who displays their child on the internet for every pervert and crazy person to see? Not protecting their daughter by not prioritizing her safety and privacy is nothing to admire lol. And the fact that so many of you are ok with it is unbelievable.
@@gerty9250 Totally agree. I am surprised that caring parents would do that. I also find it very worrying that the people who say they “love” the kid so, so much are the ones who demand that she is shown on the internet, one of the places that is full of predators. Honestly folks, everybody by now knows where S&L actually live!
Nice to see you’ve helped the Travel Beans family with their new home purchase. Thank you for video, have a blessed day.
@@ail-on3px the ceilings are illegal and will be fixed by sellers if they wish to proceed with purchase. Maybe they will go ahead and maybe not but Sarah and Luca have been great.
Shame it hasn’t worked out so smoothly for them. Maybe, it has by now.
@@jannieannie5140 I think there is a great deal of inexperience and naivety there. Or it’s presented that way to make it more relatable and exciting as a YT story. I personally would prefer sound information from professionals with experience. This would also make the information on both YT channels more valuable. Wouldn’t know if S&L were great as I wasn’t present. Were you? I hope all goes well for everybody.

it seems like Italy has so many strange codes. The seller probably should have done an inspection before listing it. The problem with that is that if nobody buys it, which seems to be the case in Italy, then the seller wastes money on an inspection of a house that never gets sold.
Italy might want to ease up their strange codes to help those towns keep from becoming ghost-towns. Instead, they could check the strength of the structure... some of those old house have been up for centuries so structural integrity and strength over bathroom location seems like a no brainer. This is why I would never buy a house in Italy. Too much nonsense coding.
@@ail-on3px An inspection is free in Italy? That's great. Other countries have to pay out of pocket. The buyer could spend a lot of money on inspections until they find a good house.
I recognized the Beans house immediately from when you visited. So glad you are building such a wonderful community!
Me too- I remembered seeing that tiny room. 👏🏻👏🏻😂
Do you think it will be a community of second / holiday home owners or full timers or a mix?
Even if not exploring an opportunity to buy a property in Italy, it's good to try to be open to learning - with anything. ♥
I've been watching these wonderful people for quite a few years now. That's all I have to say. ❤❤❤
Happy to see that The Beans bought one of the houses you promoted weeks ago! 😃
It's illegal because of Italy's weird codes, (what's wrong with the bathroom if it's structurally solid), and the sellers probably got the signatures before getting a house inspection because who wastes money on an inspection if the house is never going to sell. Again, Italy does nothing to help make Italy blossom, but the nit-picking rules thet have will turn towns into ghost towns. Italian bureacracy just can't historically get it right.
Love to see how the different You Tube family’s support and help each other out. It’s great to see the love and kindness that takes place as we see too much negativity nowadays. There are acts of kindness everywhere. We just need to share it.
Love you guys and I hope you're feeling better after last weeks unkind comments. I miss little Luce. ❤❤❤
💯💯💯💯❤️
The comments were honest and came from a place of caring. A shame they took it the wrong way. Now they’re punishing all the subscribers!
Thank you for sharing about property, I wish everyone success who wishes to buy in Italy .
I would be interested in renting a place for three months each year, preferably in Palermo. I would think that a lot more people, especially retirees, would be equally interested in this type of place to stay. The reason being is that Europe in general limits tourist visas to 90 days. So for most of us, I would think, are only financially able and interested in staying in Italy for 90 days a year. I think somebody could do really well with a business of renting to people like us, reasonably of course, for 90 days at a time. I would love more information on such if it already exists. ❤
You are both truly lovely, your generosity shines ❤️
Thank you for all the Information on buying a house in Italy. You 2 are so thoughtful in wanting to help communities grow & thrive for families.
I hope you're getting a stipend for your time & knowledge also finding the houses.
I wish I could visit Italy. Such a beautiful country. Take care 💜💙💜🕊️
HI Sara and Luca,
I will be in Sicily at the end of September. I would love to see your village, about buying a property. My family left Sicily 120 years ago!!
I am so excited to come!!
Thank you !!! ✅👍❤️
@@susanlombardo8444 I wish you good luck and have fun!! 😍😁🫂
Be careful of those money pits unless you have tons to spare! And learn the local language. Almost no one speaks English there.
@@gisele8854 I am going to Sicily for three months to learn Italian and I am looking to see about purchasing my home. It is kind of difficult where I live right now financially I’m being very very squeezed with my retirement. I want to go over there and see if it works, if I can find something that I would want to buy. ❤
What a dream it would be to own a home in such a beautiful part of the world!!
really impressive. I have a friend here in England who was buying an old property in Sicily, but it fell through. So I sent her this link....I'm sure she will find it very helpful. Thank you lovely people. Sandi x
Thank you for all this wonderful information. I have to say, I miss seeing your daughter today!
Morning from London Uk you two are the people to trust you could charge a fee your new job thanks for info
Your vlogs relating to house searches and purchaces in Italy are enlightening and must really help demystify the processes for many thinking to re-locate or have a holiday home. I'm not in a positition to benefit from this information but I know that if I were able to consider moving , your information would be most helpful in giving me things to consider and look more in to.
Thanks so much Sara and Luca for this very helpful and informative video. Greatly appreciated to hear how it works in Italy 🇮🇹 ❤️🙏
I purchased a house in my village in Sicily last year. Thanks to inspiration from you both. ❤ I had some help from a local who couldn't explain anything. 😂 I was born in Sicily, so a few things were different for me, but everything you just explained made so much sense. Great job, guys! Can't wait until you start selling your olive oil. I will be the first in line to purchase.
Thank you so much for this video! It’s got a lot of information and will help me a lot. I want to buy a house in Italy and I am an Irish resident. I cannot wait to see your beautiful country.
Thank you so much for all the information in purchasing a house in Italy. It was the best that I've seen and heard. It couldn't be anything but the best when it is you two. Missed your little girl today. God bless.
Such great detailed information. You take a lot of fear out of the process, and make the idea more real and less intimidating.
Very helpful for those wanting to buy a property in Italy. Plenty to think about in advance so no surprises. Ive found that I may need to save more than calculated to cover possible unexpected expenses.
Good Sunday morning, Luca & Sara, thank you so much for all the information, it was really helpful. See you next Sunday. Hope to see Luce, I missed her🥰 so cute and sweet. I love you guys. Take care. Bjs
Love you guys! Don’t be upset about last week negative comments. Some people crazy.
It was so nice to see that the Travel Beans bought one of the houses you presented in the other video. 😊
This way we will have an update to another part of the village.
Save travels and come back soon.
God bless 🤗

Can we all congratulate them on how well they have learned English😅🎉! I thank you on this because I clearly understand all that you say! Even our little Lucia “Hello People”❤Your wonderful I enjoy you so much !
Thank you so much Sara and Luca! Can’t wait to see next weeks properties!!! Miss Luce’s cute face!!!
Good morning my beautiful family 🌹❤️❤️❤️💌🌹.
Very interesting! I won’t be buying a home in Italy, but it is interesting to see the process. There are similarities and differences, such as the way utilities are paid.
So informative! Thank you. And thank you for being my Sunday morning joy moments!!
I can know about Italy and also practice studying listening English from beautiful family:)
A very informative video. Sara , I love your dress. ❤
People have to realize that we only see a small part of their life. It’s like a TV show it’s for entertainment purpose. If you enjoy watching them do so if you think you have a say in how they live then you probably should move on.
THIS!!
Exactly!!
And is it also not important to realize that if they decide to share something with us, then, normally, we might have a reaction to what is being said, especially if some of us see that move as potentially harmful. In that regard, this is a two way interaction. How irresponsible if we just sit here as passive participants and do not express our concern. The fact that so many had concerns about what was being proposed is telling within itself. I also would think that even though they may be overwhelmed by the comments last week, it would be helpful for them to express themselves to this point and to state that that was the case and also know that not everyone is going to agree with their plans. This understanding and mutual dialogue can provide a more rewarding experience for all who choose to participate in this channel. Gracias. Shalom.
@@susannahfox7188 I think sharing concerns is totally normal but for some to be extremely rude and nasty is not necessary at all. You can not justify rudeness.
@@susannahfox7188 maybe they just need a week off.
You are judging them because they didn’t respond the way you expected them to.
Which totally is contradictory to your seemingly judgment, free opinion of their channel.
Great video. We are dual citizens, and we are pretty familiare with this process. We hoped to buy one, but now with my husband's health problems, maybe not. Grazie lo stesso!
Great information! I have been thinking of doing a move there in a few years and this knowledge was helpful
Really interesting video this week your so kind helping people.Miss seeing Luce sending you all love 🥰 from Jacki in London looking forward to next week xx
Thank you so much for your time and effort!

Happy Sunday B.P.!😊👍💕🏡😸
Oh I love all 3 of you & the content you put out, regards Perth, West Australia.
Love your beautiful dress
Thank you that was very helpful for people thinking of buying a home in Italy.
Remember what Francis Bacon said in the opening lines on his essay on Travel.:
""Travel, in the younger sort, is a part of education; in the elder a part of experience.
He that travelleth into a country, before he hath some entrance into the language, goeth to school, and not to travel."
So, before coming to search for a house in Italy, go learn Italian, even if it means learning with a Florentine accent...LOL!
When in Firenze always check the Lion!!!
Un abbraccio forte a due!
Thank you for the information, its really great to hear what you need. Great video.❤
Thank you!I look forward to watching you every Sunday!
Thank you so very much for taking the time to do this video. The information is so valuable to those who may be interested in purchasing a property in Italy. On another note please don’t let the odd negative comments shake you. You are a beautiful family and you work so very hard to build a future for yourselves. If people don’t like something then they don’t need to watch. Hugs ❤xx
I feel many of us who subscribe to youtuber channels to live vicariously through the lives of others are guilty of being a little naive, I know I was when I first started. We forget this is a business for the majority of youtubers and sometimes their primary income. They present carefully curated versions of their lives to maximise income. LEAW are no different in this regard. I feel due to the unfortunate circumstances of Luca's health they have had no choice but to diversify their channel content which may not be to everyone's taste now. The only criticism I have is that subscribers are expected to believe the renovation of a tiny one bedroom basic house
that is nowhere near finished after a year and that Luca, Sara and Luce are living in it is genuine? There is a danger that once authenticity goes subscribers will as well. I am still keeping the faith but I am more sceptical now about the channel which is a shame.
Yeah true...surely their house in Northern Italy has someone renting it at the moment ?
You’ve got a point there or two. I did wonder if they actually lived there. Maybe they do, maybe they don’t. Shame, they used to be very authentic with their travels. Hope they find their way back; for me it’s all a bit too curated and child-centred now.
Many of my mates have unsubscribed for that reason: loss of authenticity. I still enjoy them although sometimes I feel quite sceptical too. I also dislike that the little one has become such a focus. It’s risky to show her so openly on the internet with all the weirdos out there.
Thank you for the informative and interesting tour of the three houses. It is interesting to see what is available. We are not in the market for a home there, at least not now, but I still find it very interesting.
I look forward to your videos about Argentina.
Have a great week!
Thank you for your information. Enjoyed you helping the Travel Beans. ❤❤❤
What a lovely episode, thank you both so much for allowing us this knowledge.
Our experience buying a restructured apartment in the centro storico in Trapani last year was a little more complicated and took longer. In addition to the realtor and geometra and notaio, there was also a lawyer and and engineer involved. This was because the property had a large mortgage on it, and it had multiple owners. Also, parts of the restructure required a sanitario to be in compliance as there was construction done after the WWII bombings so there was a question of when different parts of the building were constructed. So maybe it's less risky to buy some houses than others.
Good afternoon you three, from Derbyshire, England. 😍😍😍🥰 Sorry I'm late, watching MotoGP again. 😂
You also need residency, or be prepared to use your home at most 90 days out of 180
The man rebuilding his stone house has been refused a visa. He comes from America. Seems Italy not that welcoming.
Italy is very welcoming to Americans but there are rules of eligibility that one must meet to be granted a Visa.
Depends on what passport you hold! EU citizens can just live there full time.
@@UserGabor These comments were in reference to NON EU Citizens.
Italy is a terrible place to invest or live in. Discriminating tax laws against foreigners for buying and for owning a property.
Very helpful information. I moved some years ago to Italy and would have been happy having this info then.
Thank you beautiful family!

Thanks Sara & Luca, that was very useful and well-explained information. Looking forward to next week's video you mentioned, showing some more bargain properties. In the meantime, have a good week. Best wishes to you both (and, of course, lovely little Luce). ❤❤💖
Just a clarification on what is meant by buying the house empty… in particular the kitchen. This means the seller takes their kitchen, meaning the cupboard’s and countertops.
Looking at the kerfuffle with the Travel Bean’s purchase or non-purchase, would it be a good idea to take someone with proper real estate experience with you when you show/film the clips advertising these houses, someone who can shed a bit of light on likely issues, potential problems, permissions, opportunities, etc. This would make the videos more interesting and informative and less of a sales pitch. Hope you know what I mean.

I heard that Canadians cannot buy a second home in Italy right now. Something about tariffs or something about the Canada and Italy government thing. If you are a Canadian, you should look into that before making an offer! :)

When you say "furniture", sometimes that means the kitchen (ALL of it), or all of the bathroom.
Thanks for the info. I'm too old and frail to attempt anything like that but it sounds like a dream if I was younger. I hope you'll get lots of people who are interested. Prices are less by alot than they are in the U.S. But............. where's my baby girl? I miss her 😍

Awesome!! Really helpful. Looking forward to a preview of the homes.
My feed sent me a video about a couple who are buying up homes in Sicily and turning them into AirBnb. That kind of disappoints me.
I love the channel, watching your dreams come true and very much respect you and love seeing our cat whisperer Luce!!! 💕
Airbnbs are morally “criminal”. And people who buy up properties to turn them into Airbnbs are socially “criminal”. Everybody knows it, yet people stay in them happily when it suits them.

I was hoping to see Luce this morning.
Are you becoming estate agents or opening one of these “Help me move to…” agencies? Would be worth a thought and possibly lucrative as so many, especially Americans, seemingly want to “flee” their country. How do Italians generally feel about all these expat communities? I have heard about quite a bit of criticism in that respect with too many people coming buying second / holiday homes, turning places into airbnbs, not really forming actual communities, driving up the prices / cost of living, etc. What is your impression?
I missed Luce this time
Very informative video, but I miss sweet Lucia! What a doll!

Very Interesting video! Thank you.. I do miss Luce and her cat feeding (she generous!!) have a good week
Thanks for very useful info! I’ve been very curious. I missed lovely little Luce though😔
question: 1. If you purchase the house but live there only 6 months each year, can you hire a 'property manager' to collect your bills, pay them with a Italian bank account, watch over the property while you're away? 2. Can you rent out the property via Ab&b or through other services or even through your personal property manager? Thanks for your informative video. And finally, 3. Do you need to apply for and receive a 'residency permit' to purchase a house? If so, can you do a video on the process of applying and receiving a residency permit? thanks!
I think they want to build a proper community, meaning not creating a place full of holiday homes and Airbnbs. That transient nature is the exact opposite of community.
