“Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part. If the foot says, “I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand,” that does not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the body? If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything? But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it. How strange a body would be if it had only one part! Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.” In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary. And the parts we regard as less honorable are those we clothe with the greatest care. So we carefully protect those parts that should not be seen, while the more honorable parts do not require this special care. So God has put the body together such that extra honor and care are given to those parts that have less dignity.”
      ‭‭(1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:14-24‬)

Jumping Fan This is referring to the Church which is indeed called by Him and belongs to Him. You’re talking about America, a secular country that has long abandoned any semblance of remaining committed to Yahweh’s principles and laws.

It's ashamed that so many churches have special interests and have succumbed to the ways of the world. I can't find the Righteous and Faithful Spirit Jesus in any Church I attend anymore. I have renewed my faith and I think I'll worship in the way the Lord tells me; by reading his/her Scrpture. "Jesus loves me , yes I know (for the Bible tells me so".

Coming home from my martial arts lesson today, I had this CD playing in my car and I put this one on. I felt something really strong while singing along to it. It brought me to these recent times to the election. Now that Trump has been elected, I thought about all of the hate I've seen on social media. We're letting "our differences divide" and our country will be weaker than ever before. We need God to bring us back home so we can stand strong together and shine our light again.

The animation beautifully illistrates the point that "City on The Hill" tries to get across. When we beleive that we don't need anyone and have nothing to learn from others it destroys any possibility of the unity God wants us to have.

I agree that there is a separation between Christian denominations and I am grieved by those who call themselves 'Christian' but do not mirror Christ by their words and actions. I prefer to say that I am a 'Christ Follower'. The difference is that Christ is the centre of my life, that we have a relationship through prayer and his Word. My testimony is freely shared with whoever wants to hear about the change in my life 17 years ago, when I heard from the Lord, repented and gave my heart to him.

It's sad and true. " Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden..." Unfortunately our Christian light can fade due to lack of vision, disputes, schisms etc. At this time especially the church needs unity and " to let our light so shine amongst men that they see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven".

    Lyrics
Did you hear of the city on the hill
Said one old man to the other
It once shined bright, and it would be shining still
But they all started turning on each other
You see the poets thought the dancers were shallow
And the soldiers thought the poets were weak
And the elders saw the young ones as foolish
And the rich man never heard the poor man speak
And one by one, they ran away
With their made up minds to leave it all behind
And the light began to fade
In the City on the Hill, the City on the Hill
Each one thought that they knew better
But they were different by design
    Instead of standing strong together
    They let their differences divide
And one by one, they ran away
With their made up minds to leave it all behind
And the light began to fade
In the City on the Hill, the City on the Hill
And the world is searching still
But it was the rhythm of the dancers
    That gave the poets life
It was the spirit of the poets
That gave the soldiers strength to fight
It was fire of the young ones
It was the wisdom of the old
It was the story of the poor man
    That needed to be told
It is the rhythm of the dancers
    That gives the poets life
It is the spirit of the poets
That gives the soldiers strength to fight
It is fire of the young ones
It is the wisdom of the old
It is the story of the poor man
    That's needing to be told
One by one will we run away
With our made up minds to leave it all behind
As the light begins to fade in the City on the Hill
One by one will we run away
With our made up minds to leave it all behind
As the light begins to fade in the City on the Hill
    The city on the hill
    (Come home)
    And the Father's calling still
    (Come home)
To the city on the hill
    (Come home)

It'd be wonderful if all of the different denominations, including Catholic, orthodox, and protestant, would set aside their petty differences and unite together as the Church, the Body of Christ. That can never happen while continuing our complacent idleness. This COVID-19 fiasco has made it painfully apparent that idleness and complacency can no longer be tolerated.

I think yesterday illustrated this song very well. We've reached a point in America where we're doomed as a country if we don't change. Even if the song wasn't written about that, it can be equally applied. We were founded on the idea of religious and ideological freedom, and we left morals by the wayside.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. We hear that from some of the romantics in this life to explain the absence in our lives. Realizing we're all on a different journey and with prayer and sincere hope that at the end of our private walk, with the help of the others who're walking this same walk, we'll all come together at the "City on the Hill". Pray for one another; without ceasing.

I really love how the rich man does not come back- I mean yeah its really sad, but it just shows us that rich is not a trait but a choice that we chose to become and by doing that we will never really get to know God

All praise to GOD. Thank you Jesus. This song has helped me past the judging sin. Praise be the Lord for using Casting Crowns to help others stop trying to do God's work. That is covered in Genesis. We don't need another Tower of Babel. AMEN. Thank you for making this Video. I use it often when people Judge. I was just doing this not to long ago and we see in others what we were or are or have great knowledge of; mostly we were or are what we see in others. I see the Judge a Mile away because I was the Judge. NO MORE! only God knows. Amen.

A Church of Jesus Christ's Love This song isn’t necessarily talking about not judging each other’s sins. It definitely does talk about not judging each other’s personalities and sub-cultures (like preps, nerds, goths, jocks, artsy people, activists, band geeks, etc.) Unfortunately, we Christians are often not wise enough to carefully distinguish between what’s actually sin vs. everything else. This lack of wise and careful distinction may lead us to judge others for stuff that’s not even sin in the first place.

A big thank you and shout out to the fine men and women who police our communities especially ours . Much Love to those who balance the scales of justice every day at our courthouses. To the hard working folks who farm and drive trucks , manufacturers of the things we take for granted . To all of those , even the salespeople and men and women of faith down to the janitor, you all matter and without a single one of you our world would be a place not worth living. We appreciate all of our American Patriots World Wide and we see how far you've all come and how you've grown into better and more family faith and country oriented individuals. Very , very , very proud of your effort and for the love and support you've given me and our mission. God Bless and Much Love, tune in tonight around midnight bc I'll definitely be here and the mission God places on my soul will continue to go on without interruptions. Much Love ©®😘❤️😘❤️😘 God Bless

Mormons think indeed that Jesus isn't God, but "just" a son of God. They believe this doctrine: Like we are now, God once was, and like God now is, we once will be. By good works they think to recieve divinity, making them able to create things as well.

This song is about our people that are lost and I’m here to tell you all that I am that poor man. I Am has revealed it to me through the Holy Spirit. Everybody, the city on the hill is beginning to get restored. The kingdom of the Almighty is knocking. We are in the end times. Wake up from your slumber it’s time for war.

It's only the very last part, the bit at the very end, with the old man with a beard holding his hands out, that I didn't like - it seems to me that it conforms too much to the stereotypical idea people have of God, as being an old man with a beard!....I just loved the video right up to that point!((((
