i love this ....those who partake of the water our Lord offers will never thirst again, this is no ordinary water this is spiritual water, offered to all, as seen in the Biblical well scene in Samaria, this song captures the essence of how we can all come to drink, leaving it all behind, ending emptiness and finding everything we ever searched for previously but never found ... so great credit to Casting Crowns for putting this essential message in beautiful music
I am glad that I have Jesus as my lord and savior.
I'm a 17 year old girl and Casting Crowns is the first band I ever listened to as well. Their music immediately struck a chord with me (no pun intended:) They have always been my favorite band and always will be. I admire them because of their courage to go against the flow of a lot of Christian music today. The lyrics to their songs are full of meaning and always speak a message and a challenge to Christians to leave all behind, come to The Well-Jesus Christ-and follow Him wherever He leads us.

I was thinking of the woman at the well as I was listening; Jesus told her go and sin no more; and she went out and told everyone she met what Jesus had done for her! Oh to thirst only for Him and His righteousness! Wonderful truth spoken in song!

Jesus never said, "Sin no more". Jesus said "Go and be love to yourself, and do not accept anything that is not in your highest alignment."
Not many people comprehend that trespasses and sin are different. Trespasses are mistakes, being unkind to others in our own suffering, self-sabotage and lies. Sin is murder, using authority to hurt or control others, causing the suffering of another.
@@Preppyswirls123 Yes, the Lord Jesus DID actually say "sin no more", it is written in Scripture (John 8:11). What He never said is the next phrase you mention, "Go and be love to yourself, and do not accept anything that is not in your highest alignment". That phrase does not appear anywhere in the Bible, which is God's authoritative, true, reliable and historical Word. The Bible defines sin as being primarily against God (Psalm 51:4); though our sins may also hurt other human beings, ultimately it is God's commands and will that we are rebelling against when we sin. Thankfully the Bible also tells us the good news: that though we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) we can be freely forgiven/justified/redeemed by God's grace (Romans 3:24-25) through faith in Jesus Christ, who took the punishment that we deserve by dying on the cross for us (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Corinthians 15:3; Colossians 1:13-14).

I'm 14 and have been listening to a lot of Casting Crowns and Mercyme for the past few days and I really like it.. I came from liking the 80's hard rock heavy metal type of music to this. I really love it and have been loving everyday with the Lord. Even through times like today, where we face trials.. we get strengthened, and rewarded for our hardship.

Sometimes it feels like I have no where to go, but I know god with always be there to fill my heart. In high school there are so many things that will try to make you stray away from god,but you just have to STAND STRONG^

This world and its ways, you are correct, it will lure you to destroy yourself, and all that is good. Never let your guard down! Think about what you allow into your mind and heart and guard them diligently because all life flows from them.

This song is absolutely amazing and anointed by the Holy Spirit. I was searching for years though I knew of the Lord because of growing up in a Christian family but strayed for over 10 years in satanic heavy metal and death metal. But when the Lord rescued me recently and I re-dedicated my life to Him I have not been the same and don't ever wan that old life again. Thank you Casting Crowns for writing this and all the God breathed music you have since you formed, your music has helped me through some dark times in my life to keep looking to our Savior Jesus Christ the King of kings and Lord of lords!!

The holy spirit doesn't force us to follow God because otherwise we would not have free will. If we did not have free we would not know how amazing love is because we would not know any different! God wants us to love him. If we choose to love God, the holy spirit is there to guide us; but, the holy spirit will NOT force you to follow God against your will. I have OCD, which means I have a thought come into my head and latch on and obsess over it, hence the O. I struggle with doubt of my salvation. I have been for months and I just prayed about it and feel better. I prayed if I needed to be saved that He would save me and if I needed to rededicate my life, that He would do it. I said “unto thy hands I commit my spirit” and I know he heard. Hope this helps anybody like me.

I’ve been a Christian for most of my life, I went trough a horrible time in my life that the affects of lasted for years, I lost all I had. Before other men and women judged the woman at the well thru them, i think that they should be remembering it thru them that jesus loved her thru him and gave her what she needed from him at it and where he met her at it thru him and eventhough she didnt know him abd whom he was thru her yet even and until he had told he thru him even and u like them he was more than just her friend thru him and not her enemy! And he didnt reject her thru him nor turn her away from thru him either!
