I was lying in my bed doubting god, but I just prayed I prayed to be saved. The next day I opened up my bible and the first thing I noticed was “I will save you”. God works in amazing ways. I saw Jesus right before I got diagnosed with childhood cancer when I was 3 years old, he told me everything was going to be okay. I relapsed when I was 5 years old. I was in the hospital when I saw Jesus again sitting on a chair in my room when I was 7 years old. The next day I was cancer free. I’m 35 now.

That's a awesome story. When i was a kid about 9 years old I was undergoing eye surgery an I saw a big hand come towards me with a bright light around it an he told me everything's gonna be alright aswell.

I had a miscarriage 2 months ago and when returning home from the clinic after hearing this sad news from the doctor, I heard this song for the first time. This song really helped me during one of the most difficult time I went through. I cried throughout the song especially the lines "I'll praise the God who gives and takes away" touched me. If God has taken away from something from you, he is faithful enough to give it back to you. In 1986 when I was 16 years old . I was trying to commit suicide with a knife on my arm/wrist. As I was sawing away on my self, I heard a voice behind me.(God's voice) He said this to me as loud & clear as He was standing behind me.
He said "One more time and it will happen!"
7 loud words! I immediately turned around to see no one . I've never heard his voice audible again since that night But, I know who the Lord is now. I am still alive in 2024 thanking Jesus for saving me & loving the Lord Jesus Christ with my whole heart!

This happened to me! I was being strangled daily by my daughter’s father, and I heard Him say “the next time he strangles you, you will die” so when my daughters father left, I called the police and they arrested him down the street from my house, but everything had to be timed perfectly because he kept evading police.
I am 15. I'm in bed, its 3am and I'm watching random music videos. I click on this video and I'm in tears. I'm not exactly sure why at first, but then I realize its God speaking to me through this beautiful song. I am a self-proclaimed Christian and I got baptized last year. But lately I've been feeling distant from Him. I've heard this song on the radio many times, but today was different. I cried, and cried and prayed for God to change me. 10 years ago this was my personal anthem. I was pregnant with twins and they were in trouble. As my world was rocking, I kept listening to this song. If I wasn't on my knees begging for their lives, I was listening to this song. I knew no matter my personal crisis God was still on the throne. I couldn't let one crisis (dying babies) lead to a second (doubting God). I desperately held on to both my faith on God and my desire for my babies. I finally had to release them to God. He was fully aware of my desires given I had been storming the throne room for weeks.
Yesterday I was listening to Spotify when this song came on. Suddenly it was 10 years ago, my twins were gone, and I was praising God in my living room; not for their loss but because of who He is.

We are the witnesses of all these things. From the death of Jesus to 2030 there are 2000 years.9 years is left until the 2000 years are complete after Jesus's death. Jesus is coming soon. Let's all repent and turn from our old ways and turn to the Lord.

In 2015 I died on an operating table, and I was in heaven with Jesus. He sent me back as he said it will be so wonderful when you are here all the time, then I was choking and bleeding, he stayed with me and saved me. Now I'm healed. I still have work to do 🙂

The negative influences of this world are designed to make our heart sick through emotional & physical pain resulting in a given person turning to music as one source of comfort to the body. The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy.
The end users of their music become fans because the lyrics are relatable and the sound of the singer’s voice & rhythm helps them cope with the pains of this reality. Unfortunately, this band aid approach is only a time out from the hurt and in the meantime we are fortifying its wall with painful memories waiting in line. Who can save us from wounds that are silent, wordless and cruel all the while tearing us apart inch by inch on the inside, which could radically accelerate the demise of the human body? I will use caps as emphasis to show the honest reverence for GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY when writing about HEAVENLY music in the paragraphs below.
That INVINCIBLE DIVINE be our HEAVENLY FATHER, WHO THROUGH HIS SON’S MISSION HAS INSPIRED believers to write songs that sing of HIS LIFE GIVING LOVE to deal with emotional & physical pain, economic instability, mortality and the emotional instability of others with the motive of winning over souls for HIS KINGDOM. The melody & theme of HEAVENLY music is hateful and intolerable to the devil, a spirit which causes us to be blinded of the effects of sin and is responsible for the woes of this world such as melancholy, anguish, tribulation and trial. These agitations of the soul create a heavy burden for the lost and could lead him or her to be hostile of songs that sing about GOD’S GLORY. This makes it clear that we cannot win the spiritual battle by our own strength. Moreover, on earth the devil has no equal.
GOD has provided us with the ONE WHO CAN AND WILL LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt from a given sinner's heart if he or she (through faith) would open their understanding to Psalms (starting with the focus on Psalms 51:1-10 KJV), and hymns/songs giving praise to HIM for the purpose of being persuaded, converted and healed by the HOLY SPIRIT from within by transforming your body/temple into a meeting place for you and the KING OF THE AGES to commune as friends through the born again experience (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life). It is only here that the fears of tomorrow will diminish, the blessed assurance is given that you are HIS and HE LIVES. Once the blessed assurance is known in prayer (through the confession of wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, combine with admitting that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and believing in one’s heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead to deliver us from sin's guilt) the world can never take it away because the world didn’t give it to you. All this LOVE is waiting for those who believe to receive. For it is written, by HIS STRIPES we are healed. Stand on GOD’S WORD and HIS PROMISES. Time will reveal that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD and HIM LOVING believers in a SPECIAL WAY.
I sang this song to the Lord while the water rushed into our house (3 years ago May 5th) during a flash flood. That storm and flood did not defeat me....and neither will this current world situation. I know who holds me in His hands... 💛🕇

Praying for him, I also encourage a 3 days water fast. Look up the benefits. The body will eat the bad/damaged cells . Have him work himself to the fast. He can start with intermittent fasting at first before he goes in water fast. It will be 3 days of drinking just water with a little bit of salt. Amen “we need you Lord” Consider this , when a father is teaching his child to ride a bike , he has a hold of it and runs with them until the child gains confidence and balance and at some point the father lets go . The child can still return to the father for help and guidance with this and any other situation BUT the father wants the child to be complete. NOT a puppet on strings with no independent choices. Yes he desires to see the child become a strong self sufficient adult but still recognising his roots and where he’s come from . So when we say “God is in control” , there are some who mis-interpret that , to the point that they believe that God is teaching us something by allowing , in this instance, a pandemic to kill and bring pain . Jesus became man . He taught men . He gave them (and us) the commission to go into all the world with God’s love ,healing ,wisdom. In other words He gave US control . To take care of our world but to never forget our roots and to pray without ceasing . Meaning, to stay in His presence . Adam was given control of the “Garden “ and he messed it up . The state of this planet/garden is because of man’s submission to the wrong influences. Nothing more nothing less. When Jesus cried out “It is finished” , we have no comprehension of the magnitude of what that entailed . Of what he endured . The visible physical pain was horrendous BUT the spiritual torture of absorbing the world’s sin is way far beyond our ability to comprehend. He endured all that so that we can be FREE from this pandemic if we are IN HIM . If we choose . As you say “we need you Lord”

This song has gotten me through many rough times. This year, especially, I had several things in my life that felt way too big to handle alone. Problems had built up since my divorce 4 years ago. I have always prayed in good and bad times, but this year, I gave a lot more to praying and looking to God to give me the guidance and help I needed. What I had been doing wasn't working; things were only getting worse. I let go of my worries. I couldn't do any more alone than I had been doing. God delivered a miracle to me 2 months ago. He heard me the whole time, but I feel like I had to shift and truly have faith and rely on Him and not my own strength. I surrendered it all to Him. That is when he answered my prayers, when I least expected it.

After driving for two days straight on evacuation from hurricane Rita, we finally reached our destination. I drove a bus with special needs passengers. When I laid down at 2am, I put my earphones in and listened to this song. Needless to say, God ministered to me as if he was actually there.
After a lifetime of trauma..I found My Savior.!!!! Thru abandonment physical and mental abuse molestation addiction divorce a devastating car wreck taking of my children homelessness ...after losing EVERYTHING that ever meant anything to me, My Heavenly Father had to strip me down to the bone to raise me up in Him. Now I have been given back almost everything I ever dreamed and thank Him everyday for the what He is gonna do and trust Him to do it. Having a life that is full of hope of love and of life. I thought that I deserved to live punishment and darkness in the sin and misery of my old life because of the things that I had done and said. GOD DOES NOT WANT THAT FOR HIS CHILDREN!!!! I repented and changed the direction of my life. Jesus has washed me clean and I can stand up and hold my head high because He died for me so that I can be a Child of God. As long as I pray for and try to seek and do His Will in my life, everything will work for my good. God keeps his promises. He is My DAILY Hope and Strength. My Light in the Darkness!!! Praise , Praise , Praise the Lord God Almighty!!!

I'm a survivor of childhood abuse, sexual assault at 15. I married someone who took everything from me and wore me down. He's now paying the price, the consequences for his choices. I'm divorced and finally becoming who I was meant to be. I've always believed angels were watching over me. God was never far away, even if I never felt him. 2023 is the year I can start to deal with my trauma and finally lay it down and move forward.
I agree with you. God changed me after my car crash just over two months ago. He spared my life and gave me a reason to have hope again. Praise God Almighty
Rebecca for many years I like you thought no one cared not even God but I was wrong. life drove me to my knees in the middle of the night in a church parking lot full of anger resentment and rage, God said he knew me and all that had happened to me, he said my heart was full of my past and I had to make room for him. So I prayed for those that abused me and for my parents that abandoned me that they find salvation and be forgiven. And I had to forgive myself for turning my back on the very person that feed me clothed me and provided me with shelter. It was at that moment that my life changed in a way I didn't think was possible. Today I share with others as a Chaplain and a Christian counselor this pure love that God poured out on me that day in an empty parking lot. Thank you for your story of freedom.

I lost my grandma 12/24/2020 to cancer. It happened so fast. Then her daughter, my mom just passed 8/28/2021. It is so painful to lose two people that you loved so quickly in months of each other. I feel so alone and in a storm. This song reminds me we can praise Him even in the storm because He knows how and where to find you in the mist of the storm. Thank you. .

The devil does not and if he can keep you believing in his lies, the devil wounds you every time you attach to his lies. I was listening to this song in the car, and the sky was so gloomy and there were clouds everywhere. And all of a sudden, I looked in the distance and saw the most beautiful clouds, like it was a movie. And I kept repeating “I will praise You in this storm” looking at the beauty in the clouds. That was my sign from the Lord, He will help me find beauty in my storm. Thank you Lord!

I can’t say I know what it’s like to battle cancer but I’ve been through a lot over the years and god has always pulled me through
Every heart knows its own sorrow. Can relate as evidenced by the following sentences delineating how we use music to deal with pain by stirring up faith. The negative influences of this world are designed to make our heart sick through emotional & physical pain resulting in a given person turning to music as one source of comfort to the body. The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy.
The end users of their music become fans because the lyrics are relatable and the sound of the singer’s voice & rhythm helps them cope with the pains of this reality. Unfortunately, this band aid approach is only a time out from the hurt and in the meantime we are fortifying its wall with painful memories waiting in line. Who can save us from wounds that are silent, wordless and cruel all the while tearing us apart inch by inch on the inside, which could radically accelerate the demise of the human body? I will use caps as emphasis to show the honest reverence for GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY when writing about HEAVENLY music in the paragraphs below.
That INVINCIBLE DIVINE be our HEAVENLY FATHER, WHO THROUGH HIS SON’S MISSION HAS INSPIRED believers to write songs that sing of HIS LIFE GIVING LOVE to deal with emotional & physical pain, economic instability, mortality and the emotional instability of others with the motive of winning over souls for HIS KINGDOM. The melody & theme of HEAVENLY music is hateful and intolerable to the devil, a spirit which causes us to be blinded of the effects of sin and is responsible for the woes of this world such as melancholy, anguish, tribulation and trial. These agitations of the soul create a heavy burden for the lost and could lead him or her to be hostile of songs that sing about GOD’S GLORY. This makes it clear that we cannot win the spiritual battle by our own strength. Moreover, on earth the devil has no equal.
GOD has provided us with the ONE WHO CAN AND WILL LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt from a given sinner's heart if he or she (through faith) would open their understanding to Psalms (starting with the focus on Psalms 51:1-10 KJV), and hymns/songs giving praise to HIM for the purpose of being persuaded, converted and healed by the HOLY SPIRIT from within by transforming your body/temple into a meeting place for you and the KING OF THE AGES to commune as friends through the born again experience (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life). It is only here that the fears of tomorrow will diminish, the blessed assurance is given that you are HIS and HE LIVES. Once the blessed assurance is known in prayer (through the confession of wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, combine with admitting that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and believing in one’s heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead to deliver us from sin's guilt) the world can never take it away because the world didn’t give it to you. All this LOVE is waiting for those who believe to receive. For it is written, by HIS STRIPES we are healed. Stand on GOD’S WORD and HIS PROMISES. Time will reveal that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD and HIM LOVING believers in a SPECIAL WAY.

This Time last year, we lost our child (in the womb). That night, I bawled next to our fire pit while my wife was inside. I had a moment with God for an hour or so. This was the song that was that nights staple.

This song ministered to me when my mother succumbed to cancer, 10 years have passed, and this song brings joyful memories, I have grieved, became depressed, but He is the God who gives and takes away, since our life belongs to HIM...I am victorious in Christ!
