This recipe is awesome! Tasted just like subway cookies, it is chocolatey, gooey, and crispy on the outside! Some sharing from my experience: - I make around 30g per cookie (cuz I'm a consistency maniac!) One recipe is able to make around 28-30 cookies. The size is slightly smaller than Subway's. But it is the perfect size to me! - The spread of cookie depends on what chocolate you use. Cookie spread a lot for chocolate that melts (and does not holds it's shape) under high temperature. - I use 180℃ for 20mins, bcuz my oven is provrn to be less powerful. This is the perfect timing for my oven, you might want to adjust accordingly! - some people mentioned to chill before baking. I did that for my second batch (as my oven is small) chilled for 1 hour. It doesn't seems to be making a difference to me :P - this recipe makes very chocolatey cookies, if you want less chocolatey ones, or just simply worrying that chocolate makes you 'heaty' (yes I'm Chinese!), you might want to reduce the amount of chocolate

I didnt have white milk choco chips but i do have milk chocolates and it still taste amazing. Thank you so much! I will be following this recipe for when i bake cookies for friends and fam!
I made these and its so fudgy and chewy (which is what I want). I used 100% brown sugar so its more moist. The second batch I did, i tried turning on the oven fan and it made my cookies a little harder 😂 So definitely don't do that. Btw the vid says 1 tsp baking soda and the description says 1/2 tsp. I followed the recipe in the description ✅. But my cookies didn't flatten as much as in the vid but still, its good and THICC. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE!! ❤️❤️
This was actually very similar to Subway cookies. I loooooved it. 10/10 would recommend. I had to add a bit more flour since it came out a tad too funny for me.

@@shreyajindal3871 It tastes as good when you bake the dough directly. For me, I found the dough is easier to handle when it is refrigerated especially living in hot climate country. As for taste wise, chilling for an hour doesn't affect much but a day or two does intensify the dough. I forgot my dough was chilling in the fridge before so, it was a pleasant surprise.

if i used my mixer for this would the consistency turn out the same ? or should i just do it out by hand. (except for the chocolate chip part)

Same like Subway Cookies 👍

Soft and chewy 🤤
Hi i wanna ask can i change the chocolate chunks to chocolate chips ?
Yeah of course 😄
If it's not Owen how many minutes shall I do
And the chocolate (milk chocolate) was it cooking chocolate or simple chocolate cuz simple chocolate burns in the oven
Normal eating chocolate, because the cookies don’t have a long baking time and the mixture is quite wet, the chocolate doesn’t burn
Are u sure can I use diary milk cuz one time idk y I put that in microwave and it burned
Is it possible to reduce the sugar while still maintaining the soft chewy texture?
the sad thing is that most of the unique cookie texture is from the sugar so you can't reduce anything
so you don't need to put the cookies dough in the fridge before bake them?
No
Can I also use a baking sheet instead of baking right on the tray?
Of course you can.
Yeah that would work 😁
Hi, how do u know its cooked? After 12mins, my cookies are still so im not sure is it cooked. Thanks
If you put cookies in at 180C, it'll take aroumd 15-18 minutes. Havent watched the video, just my opinion
You forgot that the dough needs to be put in the fridge for a hour at least... Which is why yours spread so much during cooking.
Substitute for egg?
can i make it without brown sugar?
I was about to ask the same question until I saw your comment.
The brown sugar plays a big role on this recipe. It makes the cookie chewy and changes the taste as well. Wouldn't recommend doing it without.
Mih instead of brown sugar u can add around 1-2 tablespoon of cornflour or arrowroot but brown sugar definitely gives it that extra chewy and delicious taste
The dough on the cookie sheet looks thinner than what was in the bowl. Bowl batter very stiff and wouldn't spread as much.
Love subway cookies. Seems the comments are positive. Looks like the diet will have to start in February. 😒
Can we bake without eggs?
What can be used instead of an egg?
Try oil. add 1.0 tbs of cooking oil into the mix.
Is cocoa powder sweetened or not
Unsweetened
Hello, I just want to ask how much of the preheat , Thank you
170C or 340F for 12 minutes
How do i make it flat like that?
It will flatten when you bake it.. make sure each dough on the tray is far apart
song name ?
Why does my cookie turn out smooth and soft and not rough looking like the subway looking likeness?
