    After using a wall tent for a couple years, one of my thoughts is I would like the stove to be in the center of the tent and not in one corner. I have a 12x12 and the stove is in one of the corners and it seems to block out a lot of the room for sleeping. If the stove jack was just off the center then the center pole could sit on top the stove if a smaller tent. You would just have to decide when erecting tent if you were using the stove or not and have the flap open, which I have to do anyway with my tent since it's too high up the roof to reach and tie. I do like that yours is closer to the eaves. I would like a tarp over the top of tent. The zip on awning is a cool idea, at least 2 foot overhang on each end of tent.

    I didn't see all the specs on the website. Total weight, height, etc. Is there a screen available? Thank you

    As a younger guy in the market I won’t be buying this, because I want a tent for the next 40 years and I don’t believe this will be as easy to maintain and hold up as more simple designs that cost less, I’m sure it’s great as all are your products.

    I am skeptical of the zipper seams and that magnetic flap. I’ve been in some pretty inclement weather and not sure if that would hold up in wyoming winds!

      They'll hold up perfectly. We love turning skeptics into believers, it's kinda our M.O.

    This is a very interesting concept! Whats the smallest size that it can be? I didnt see it on the website yet. Also curious about the price point for the different packages. Ok I found it after doing a search for "Modular".

      You can do an 8x15 with the front and back door zipped together. It will be released on the website on Monday. If you sign up to be a cutter crew member on our site it will give you early access this weekend!

      @@CanvasCutter Because of the cost of that tent, may I suggest you offer the ability to purchase the 8x15 at a lower cost and then add middle sections later for an additional cost. Ive considered wall tents a few times, but their cost and bulk keeps me from pulling the trigger. An 8x15 might be a good option for some wanting to try one at a lower price point, and then add on later if needed. I know I would not be able to throw out 3200 bucks for a new concept wall tent. Not bashing the product, on the contrary, I think you may be onto something. But with that said....a lower price point entry might be more enticing for a lot of us.

      @@rbljackson Great thought. We did discuss it. Ultimately we decided that everyone who purchases a 12'x15' will have an 8'x15' if they would like to use it that small, and then they will also have a middle section to expand it when more people want to join. We will be offering the ability to purchase each individual section (Front Door, Back Door, Middle Section) after this pre-order. Wall Tents are definitely an investment, especially if they are made out of the highest quality materials, and with the most innovative design, but well worth the price.

    Does the floor have a removable area for a low/ground stove? Or is it pretty heat resistant?

    • @CanvasCutter
      @CanvasCutter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would just put a fire retardant mat under the stove and the floor will be good.
