I’m also enjoying your fantastic drone footage because of Shawn Willsey. Beautiful shots -the music adds so much. Thanks
Thank you for allowing prof Shawn Willsey to use excerpts of your drone shots. The footage you got was (and is ) amazing. It is true that a picture can explain far more than words in the hands of a gifted cinematographer.

Excellent footage! Your shots are so clear and close! The structure of the spatter cone is easy to see. Thank you for sharing with Professor Shawn Willsey. I would not have found your channel otherwise.
I like the contrast of the bright orange against the black old cold lava.
Wooow!😍😍😍 Still going strong! Excellent footage!
thank you:)

This is perfect volcano footage. I hope you don't mind if I put it on a loop to watch as I fall asleep for the night. Warm wishes from Minnesota! ❤️❤️❤️
haha no problem, enjoy;)
Awesome!
Leon, HOW did you do this?...this is the most breathtaking footage I have ever seen ....there is grandure and power in creation....Thank you
thank you! I have to say that the drone did a very good job - I recently bought the DJI Mavic 3 Pro and the images it takes are just stunning!
I cannot believe the mess it has made.
ein sehr schönes video, danke
Thanks for letting Shawn Willsey use some of your footage. I never would have found it otherwise. Where are you off to next?
Next I go home unfortunately🙈🙈 In September I will go to Stromboli and hopefully see some activity there:) and maybe I do a spontaneous trip before if there is another volcano erupting not too far away:)
Lava heaven!
magnificent
Looks like a vat of molten gold about to poured out into bars.
Just amazing. Love to know where the lava is going. Is it disappearing again into tunnels?
I'd say that the lava in the crater is connected via sub-surface tubes to the alva that is emerging from the ground next to the crater. and probably this emergent lava dissapears downflow again into a tube/tunnel
Wow! Great footage! 🎉
I will fly in a few ours to iceland. I have a drone (DJI pro 4) with me. Do you think it can reach from the BlueLagoon or the street? Or do you have a tip for an other spot to start the drone without controvene the restriction for tourists? Thanks 😊
i don't think it is possible from blue lagoon because there is a small hill between blue lagoon and the erupting volcano - so you'd lose the signal. The hiking trails at fagradalsfjall are open, from the trails you can see the eruption from a distance of about 4km - you could try from there. But note that there is no trail leading to the erupting volcano
❤❤❤
someone got a little inspired by hans zimmers - time 😂 nice
Awesome footage! Amazing! Is the crater accessible or is there a viewpoint at least from a distance to fly a drone from there?
You cannot walk to the eruption site unfortunately (at the moment at least). You can see the eruption from the hiking paths at Fagradalsfjall. If you take path A, you are about 4km away from the current eruption
To me it's starting to resemble Nar from the '21 eruption
Do you choose the music that you play with the videos? You have good taste!
yes, I always choose the music. happy to hear that you like it:)
Me too
Are you in Iceland now? Will you be doing a live event?
I am leaving tomorrow unfortunately...
Really awesome video. Too bad there are no submarines which can dive inside this volcano and shows us what is inside. Maybe someday material science will develop so that this will become possible
Haha yes, it would be really cool to dive into the lava!!
Glass bottom boat.
What way is there to prove the shots are real?
what makes you think that they are not real??
