The Max have been great for the few years I've had it. I would compare it to it's competitors such as the insta360 first. If you do decide to go with gopro 360 cam, I would wait for the Max 2 that is rumored to come out sometime this year. In terms of Helmet mount, its your personal preference. Just keep in mind that being very close to the helmet might result in stitch line issues. I personally rather have the 360 on a pole and hero on my Helmet.

how do you like the GoPro Max? Im thinking of getting it for my main helmet mount and use my Hero10 for reverse POV shots and Chesty shots
