Definitely a smaller resort but a lot of fun. Not a fan of the paid parking though. This was my first visit ever and only spent a couple of hrs there. Will definitely visit next time I'm in PA.

Yeah it's been a wild winter! I lost my Max this summer so I have Enduro batteries, charger and all kinds of accessories 😔 to sell now. I thought you would wait for the new Max 360 or look into the insta brand, what made you choose the Max?

Sell me your Enduro’s LOL 😂.. I already have a Hero10 and I really like the software and GoPro’s online community.. As nice as some of the Insta360’s videos look I’ve read lots of reviews/comments about people switching back to GoPro after getting the Insta360.. I guess personal preference for them but I’m already a GoPro user so figured I’d stick with it.. Only REAL difference with the Insta360 is the 5.6K @ 60fps where the MAX is @ 5.6K 30fps.. I like the 8K component in the Insta360 but seldom people have an 8K monitor

@EmbarkWithChris I hear you on the gopro pros. I enjoyed it as well and was devastating with the lost however, my main issue was the gorpo editing software and its limitations. The insta 360 software is superb and the camera quality is amazing too. Still love my Hero 11 and plan to keep it indefinitely. I'm not good with social media so if you can find a way to private msg me we can work out the batteries and other things if your interested.

Yeah the snow was perfect that day!

On that day it was a mixture of natural and artificial snow but it felt great. Plenty of pow outside the boundaries and I was so tempted to break the rules 😆

Last year spring

It was my 1st run ever so I was a lil hesitant but that short drop is like a blue / diamond @ Vermont. I consider myself to be an intermediate Snowboarder. You should be fine. Always best to try it with fresh grooming.

@@MrLazyLibra I used to ski at Camelback, but it got new owners recently and the parking that was free is now $30. That's on top of the lift ticket! That's a freaking fraud! As if someone else would park there besides skiers who've already paid for the lift. Camelback "generously" offers a $10 parking, but that's far and you need to use a shuttle bus from the $10 parking to get to the mountain. I'm refusing to sponsor that shameless greed of new Camelback owners and will be skiing at Blue from now on.

​​​@@ymg200​@ymg200 yes its awful to have to pay that much for parking or for that amount and still have to take a shuttle. When I had visited Camelback in January, I paid $12usd @ parking lot 7 (246 Resort dr). I wasn't happy but it was right next to the main lodge. It definitely should be free considering paying for lifts and possibly rentals too.

@@MrLazyLibra Camelback parking map shows lot7 as needing a shuttle bus. How did you get to the mountain? I like night skiing, don't want to get stuck waiting for the shuttle bus late at night.

Really? Lot#7 according google maps, is just below Camelback base. You just need to walk up the hill to the BLACK BEAR 6 lift. Not sure what side of the mountain is open during the night that requires a shuttle from lot #7 though.

I'm trying to learn as I go along myself. I guess I can say a good camera with image stability is an important requirement to start. Unlike myself, it helps to be more entertaining and able to do tricks 😆.

i think its really entertaining because im worse then you and just watching somone better than me really hel,ps and you acctauly reply to comment unlike big youtubers which is really cool and i like more calm entertaining videos keep up the good work @@MrLazyLibra

The Max have been great for the few years I've had it. I would compare it to it's competitors such as the insta360 first. If you do decide to go with gopro 360 cam, I would wait for the Max 2 that is rumored to come out sometime this year. In terms of Helmet mount, its your personal preference. Just keep in mind that being very close to the helmet might result in stitch line issues. I personally rather have the 360 on a pole and hero on my Helmet.

On that day (a couple weeks ago) it was icy on the south side but north and edge were pretty good. Conditions had significantly improved thereafter.
