      I'm glad you posted this because I am shopping for a gaming chair and actually like the look and size of the musso chair. Is it as wobbly as she describes it? There is the chance she assemble it wrong or maybe she just received a bad wobbly chair and not a representative of the product in general.

Interestingly enough one part was broken and I had to have them send me a new part. I ran the straps for the headrest through the buckle that came with my AKRacing Opal chair. Then, I ran the lumbar pad straps through the buckle too. It holds the two pillows on the chair better that way. I got the Opal for $210 at Bestbuy during black friday.

    Ive had a killa bee a titan and an AK racing chair, and of the three, I would absolutely recommend AK racing. They have an amazing product and their customer support is incredible, I will yell you ive had issues with all three, major with the killa bee, and it was only 4 months after I bought it, and I gave them 3 months to get back with me after reaching out to them on every single avenue available, and they didn't even have the decency to respond to me whatsoever! The issues I had with the titan and my AK pro model were very minor, but AK racing was so much easier to deal with and they overnight the parts that were needed to make the necessary repairs, secret labs wasn't bad, but it took them 3 days to respond to me...so I would absolutely go with AK racing!

    • @amuthanshan
      @amuthanshan ปีที่แล้ว

      so you are going with akracing simply because secretlabs takes 2 days longer to respond? Perhaps their longer customer response time is a sign of their popularity? For some people a much higher priority would be the durability of the leatherette, softness of their armrests, quality of their bolts and nuts or price. If you want good value and real leather and larger dimensions at the same time, akracing offers incredible value. But the secretlab titan is considered a higher quality product because of the integrated adjustable lumbar support, swappable gel armrests, and sturdier build which may not justify the higher price.

    • @Will_b83
      @Will_b83 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@amuthanshan secret labs is not considered a higher quality product. They are competing at the same level…both have specific little features that set them apart. And yes, I absolutely would recommend AK Racing, they have been absolutely incredible when it comes to customer service.

    • @roguestormtv6722

      You have to measure yourself and I go through how to do this. Take those measurements and compare them against the measurement stats of the chair you are interested in. The company provides these numbers on their amazon listing and on their website. You will get a sense of if their will even fit you. Then the next question to ask is how firm or medium or soft do you want your chair. But again this can be very subjective. In each video I like to offer what kind of give a chair seat has, whether it is firm or if it is has more cushion and is comfortable. At 4:09 in this video it shows you how to measure for your legs - th-cam.com/video/afUwySsgedg/w-d-xo.html and this video at 2:229 if gives dimensions - th-cam.com/video/2WSRv_Z14Pg/w-d-xo.html - you got to do research!!

    Made a rush decision and fell to peer pressure buying an MSI gaming chair. Big mistake and regret. I'm 6'1 250lbs and I feel like the target audience was for children or malnourished teens.
    My legs hanged off the seat, my broad shoulders were not cupped but pushed against the back padding and the finicky arm rests were cheap plastic that hurt my elbows if I leaned on them. Also the padding at the base ensures I couldn't spread my legs even slightly, cross legged or knee to knee female posture only.
    Use the lumbar support to make my tailbone sore, use without to make my groin numb. Or was it the other way around? Remember my legs do not rest on the chair but had several inches of clearance between my calves and seat with my back against the chair and it wobbled.
    Lovely $600 CAD chair for my niece to watch kids movies on now.
    I wish I carefully watched all of your reviews on these chairs before making a decision, good work on them!

    For those of you actually looking for a good chair just look at office chairs around the same price of your budget. I'd recommend going for one with a proper head/neck rest, the back made of mesh as it tends to be just as good at supporting your back (with a little bit more give and flexibility which is a must have) but also allows for a built in, and often adjustable, lumbar support rather than the terrible pillows that come with these chairs. Also try to look for a seat that can be adjusted forwards and backwards. The key to a good chair is having as much adjustability built in as you can afford and sadly these gaming chairs don't really have any apart from up and down and reclining. I bought one when I got into PC gaming and I can say I genuinely regret it, also the sides where your arms go restrict the movement of your arm because they stick out so bloody much, I also took the arm rests off because they're pointless...

    Are the angles on the wings of AKR-Max's back flatter than the non-XL models?

    • @johnsoleimanian
      @johnsoleimanian 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought both, will return one. Answering my own question; back rest wings onthe SX are 120° (top half), 105° (lower half) . The Max is 130° (top half), the the lower part flairs so the wings are 120° by the mid point and 110° by the seat. Also if you skip to 11:20, the SX's wings stick out the most between right above the hips. Max's wings are tapered so they don't touch your hips and they're biggest bellow your rib cage. The at at 5'7" 170lbs the SX hugs my waist, it's not constrictive but not a comfortable sensation. On the flip side if you don't use the arm rests, the lower groove on the SX comfortably supports your arms if you drop your arms to your sides, the higher groove on the Max acts as an elbow rest holds you arms slightly forward. I like the elbow support but I can see why some people wouldn't.

    • @johnsoleimanian
      @johnsoleimanian 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pcangeldust not keeping the SX, probably keeping the MAX , its a decent chair but does have a lot of very small flaws like: cushion extra firm, all the seams are very thick and hard, can't reach the tension knob while sitting, straps are sewn to the pillows , top of the chair isn't padded so you have to use the head pillow, even at full upright the the seat is still tilted back a few degrees, the shiny aluminum base is an eye sore, it's the seat is not centered so theres a risk of tipping forward and its too wide to roll though a standard door.

    Gaming chairs, because they're trying to mimic racing chairs don't make sense to me. Why? Posture. The flair on the sides, pushing your shoulders forward, why? You don't need to be hugged in the chair, like you do in a race care, going around a track. Doesn't make sense and I've sat in a few, they are NOT for people who want to sit up properly with good posture. Unless of course you're a smaller person who actually fights right between the padding. WHich then doesn't make sense with how much weight they CAN support, boggle.

    I might be the only one here who absolutely hates the way office chairs are and prefer gaming chairs. Not because of how popular but the simplicity and the comfort I love.
    If you are seriously that worried about your posture though that you would shit on a gaming chair because its not made for ergonomics, look at your bed. A bed is completely flat and most people use memory foam beds. Memory foam isn't that good for your posture, usually have shitty lumbar support, and I can never sleep on my back, I can only sleep on my side and even then im not that comfortable. The funny part is you arent constantly shitting on your bed and saying how its super bad for your posture, but you shit on a gaming chair. Sleep is one of the most important things on this earth and if you cant sleep because you're uncomfortable or you start getting back or neck problems then you'll wind up getting permanent injuries, you may oversleep and be up all night, etc.
    Same with your couch. Dining room. Anywhere you sit down most likely has shitty support. Why would you get mad because a chair isn't good enough in a gaming setup but yet everywhere else in your house you have shitty support except for that one office chair. Yea I know that nobody is gonna have 7 herman miller embodys in their dining room and some crazy purple bed and high tech couch, but I just feel you should stop talking down on gaming chairs when literally what you sleep on on a day to day basis is most likely shitting on your posture and causing problems.

      @@spyderlogan4992 spending 230 on a Musso is great compared to spending 1,600 on an embody chair, its not overrated and im telling you using them for as long as I have it doesn't ruin your posture that bad, theres many people who use it and don't have a problem at all. Its personal preference, what is comfortable to you. Maybe you dont like gaming chairs but I prefer them from personal experience over those highly expensive seats. Sorry, its not worth 1600 just to be able to sit down and not die of bad posture.
