Just FYI….the correct way to pronounce Sevierville is “severe-vull”. Was our home for 13 years.
We love Pigeon Forge area. We stay at Christmas Inn. Great place for families to stay.
Smokey mountains are magical. We went during the fall this past year and loved it .
What a nice cabin! My husband and I love staying in Sevierville when he head to the Smokey Mountains! It's just close enough to all the things and just far away that you don't have the big crowds.
I live right outside of Nashville and Yes Sunday night we got a lot of snow. We were snowed in for a week. We got about 4-6 inches. Our roads were really bad.
We got to pigeon Forge all the time and we love going to the mountains. So glad you had a good time. Sorry you got in our messy snow storm.
That was a beautiful home that you stayed at. Yes my aunt lives near Nashville and she got 13 inches of snow. Then the snow froze over and it was a sheet of ice. I'm so glad you made it back home safely!!! Brooks is a great age to travel. He is growing up so fast. He I'd soo cute!!! So is Braylyn!!!

My Dad was born and raised in that area before moving to NC at 18. He met my Mom and they made home NC. But all my childhood we vacationed in the PF and Sevierville area and visited with cousins. Such fun memories. My husband and myself vacation there now, so much to do. Beautiful part of the US. Looks like a great trip!
We have been to Local Goat many times and never once had a reservation, so I'm pretty sure it depends on when you go. If it's not a peek time in the area, you shouldn't need one. Another amazing place to eat is Blue Moose.
Welcome to Tennessee. I live in Southwest Tennessee in-between Memphis and Nashville. East Tennessee is so beautiful. The cabin y'all stayed in was so gorgeous. I'm glad y'all enjoyed your time in Tennessee.
We love Sevierville! We drove there this summer from Iowa and stayed in a cabin. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are beautiful places to visit. Anakeesta at night is gorgeous too!
This travel vlog is exactly what I needed after work today! I live on the prairies in Canada but my favorite place to visit is Canmore/Banff National Park. This reminds me that there's so many beautiful places to visit in the U.S. that I have never been too. The cabin looks amazing and those views! Great video Kailyn and I am glad everyone made it home safe. ❤

Wow beautiful home!! We love Pigeon Forge. We always stay there and then drive into Gatlinburg for a day. Love love the Tanger Outlet Mall. We always make a point of shopping there when we go.

I've heard of Opryland, but have never seen it. It's so pretty!! I'm so glad yall were able to pull off to a safe area.
I love Pigeon Forge and the surrounding areas. One year we went snow skiing and while there drove over the mountains. In this area there was no snow on ground but as we drove up the mountain you could more and more ice. By the time we got to the top it looked like a glass forest. Everything was just beautiful!!! Thankful that you made it home safely and had a great time.
Been to Gatlinberg & Pigion Forge several times. Really enjoyed every time we went. We stayed up in the mountains at Gatlinberg. You had a very nice cabin
This was a fun video to watch for me bc I live in TN (transplant from WA State). I’m only 1.5 hrs away from Sevierville & get up there from time to time!! It’s so beautiful! So glad you enjoyed yourself & made it home safely!! We are just now thawing out here. I’ve been couped up for a week!!
I also live about 1.5hrs from Sevierville, of course we're just thawing out also! I love in Athens, just on the edge of Englewood.. way out in the country! What area do you live in? If you don't mind me asking?
I feel like I just relived our trip there in the Fall! We stayed 5 nights in a gorgeous cabin in the mountains in Gatlinburg. We headed back up the mountain every day by 3:30 in the afternoon bc it was so steep and dark so early but the house was so beautiful and there was so much to do in the house, like yours . There was a game room ,hot tub, multiple fireplaces, it was incredible! Its definitely a return trip for us as well. Sevierville was very touristy but fun, I loved Gatlinburg, the ride up the mountain in Fall was beautiful! We drove all the way thru park and ended up in Cherokee! So happy you had a great time and got home safely! I think we need to start planning another trip there as well! ❤
So glad you love it here in Tennessee! The Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area is beautiful with so many beautiful cabins, so many things to do! I live less than 2hrs from there but i love going over staying in a cabin for a weekend or just going over to spend a day. Fall is always the prettiest time in the mountains, its just beautiful!! That cabin was super nice, I'm sure your family truly enjoyed! We're planning to take the grandkids over to do the snow tubing soon.. looks fun! We've taken the kids to the aquarium several times.. they love it! The trails are always beautiful here! We have one near us called 'Bald River Falls' that we love, where you actually hike to the top of a gorgeous waterfall, its amazing, especially in the fall! We got snow all day Monday & ice on top by Tuesday. The roads just cleared up really good yesterday. We live way out in the country, up on a hill..i need not say more🫤 lol if you got down the drive, you didn't come back up! But so glad you enjoyed your trip, thanks for taking us along!

The cabin is gorgeous and seemed to have everything. Your trip home sounds scary! Reminds me of the time three of us families went to mountains about two hours from here. Two people had to get back for their jobs on Monday. Sunday it decided to blizzard. The smart ones stayed an extra day and came home in beautiful weather. People were loosing tire chains, you couldn't see the roads, we took turns getting out of the car and scraping ice off the windshield wipers. Awful! Glad you made it as did we (no Nashville though). 🙂

I am glad you listed places to eat because I was going to suggest Five Oaks. That was my favorite place that we've ate at there. It's good to know about the Local Goat and how far out you have to get reservations. It seems like all our plans revolve around food lol!

You were in my neck of the woods. We live where the highest mountains in the distance in your video (near Asheville, NC.) I am from Knoxville so it was good to hear you went thru there. What a great trip! We were just there in November! I was surprised about you having to make a reservation at the “Local Goat”. We ate there also when we were there in Nov and got right in. But yeah, that place is always packed!! Great food! Looked like an awesome cabin y’all stayed in! Great size for a big family. And how fun to get a room at the Gaylord hotel! We haven’t been there yet but would like to work that into our next trip to the Gatlinburg area.

Welcome to Tennessee. I'm about an hour and a half away. Looks like you missed the snow in Gatlinburg. Lots of Tennessee got measurable snow and bitterly cold temps probably not long after you were there. Next time you need to drive through Cades Cove.( I commented before the end of the video).

Enjoyed hearing about your stay in the Smoky Mountain area. Just for future reference, Sevierville is not pronounced the way you referred to it. The first part sounds exactly the same as a weather reporter saying "severe weather is approaching". Just wanted you to know how the local residents and those in surrounding cities pronounce it.

I'm curious how far you live from Nashville. The storm was big for us. We got about 4 inches in Arkansas where I live, but the low temperatures kept it on the ground and us at home most of the week.
Was that restaurant named Old Mill?
