"She's the smartest person I've ever met" - Arya... Sansa doesn't understand why Jon bend the knee when an army of hundred thousand undead walk towards your little castle! XD
Jon didn’t have to bend the knee though, Dany was already agreeing to go north and help, bending the knee wasn’t required, Jon did it because he liked her.
@@CaptainPikeachu right... He had to die (let's be honest, no one survives this, plot armor at its best) and her dragon too, so that she agreed to it. Not just that Sansa can't possibly assume that Dany would've agreed to it under any conditions - the only reason this happened was bad writing. Dany and her dragons wouldn't have made it this quickly. Her dragon wouldn't have died nothing of this would've happened in a good written story. And from every aspect Sansa's only reason to actually ask this question is *bad writing*. Daenerys wouldn't have agreed to this under any realistic circumstances and Sansa couldn't have known about any unrealistic circumstances which would've justified such a question to some degree.
Jon isn't the sixth targaryen. There have been many more than six targaryen Kings and many more targaryen prince's and princesses. And many more targaryen Lords even before the conquest
We can just assume Jaime's hair is darker because of the lack of sun (and the show no longer giving the actor a dye job or a wig--I do think his hair was lighter when he was younger, though, too) or, metaphorically, distancing himself from the Lannister mythos.
Not quite true. Most of it is made up for sure. But they were told major plot points (can't mention them cause spoilers). So for all the hat3 direct3d at DnD (some people acr like they killed their pet or something( some fo that is Martin. Also, they didn't have stuff to work with cause Martin hasn't released the next book despite having nearly 12 years to do so.

I want a dragon too Bridgette! :( Edit after watching the entire video : Love your comments, you always crack me up! x') Also, the dying hair thing with Jaime, i'm pretty sure it's more of the showrunners not bothering to get everyone blond when they needed to be and it wasn't their natural hair color. Or to signify the "darker hair in winter". One of the two. I think he was still more blond last season, but i already can't recall :') Also also, if you ever want some funny (i find them funny, u might not) video explain how GoT "devolved" (story wise) i highly recommend Glidus and his "Pisstake" videos. Sam's brother was a dumb ass who followed his father in committing treason against his liege for a Queen who murdered his previous liege and Queen plus the equivalent of the Pope. They didn't even deserve a chance which they were given and turned down. Oh well.
His brother wasn't a bad person but they did betray house tyrell which they had pledged to for generations idk why people expected it to be chill after that
I quite like this ep on the whole. Bran saying he's waiting for an old friend when it's Jaime is a great twist. I also think it's fascinating to see the Raven side of Bran clearly know that that was the perfect time to get Sam to tell John the truth, just when he was most against Dany for the news he'd just received about his family.
Sansa p!ssed me off so much this first ep, like whoa! Right out the gate literally, mean mugging Dany. Suddenly even Sam, who didn't like his family/father, doesn't think she should be queen because she executed her enemies/people rebelling against her?Tf Sam? Insane. He's way smarter than that. He knows Jon doesn't want the crown, why doesnt he (and Sansa) trust in Jon's judgement now, in regards to Dany? What was the purpose of telling Jon his real history now? Wtf is Bran playing at? How did/would, Jon knowing his past, help anything right now? Why couldn't it wait till after the great war? And this is just the first episode of this season🙄😮💨I also never really felt a problem with Jonarys being together. They do make a cute couple. And it's a Targeryn thing /shrug. At least it's not friggin' siblings tho. A bit more relational distance is kinda better? lol. jmo.
idk why Sam is so upset about his father, his family were awful to him and literally said he would kill him if he didn't go to the wall where he probably hoped he'd be killed and his family did nothing to protect him. Literally banished to the worst place in the world. Makes no sense for him to react like this. They were given a choice to follow Dany after all but they also refused that... Stupid for him to be so mad at her.
I mean if you take into consideration what kind of man Sam is and his attitude towards anyone, I think that despite him being mistreated by his father, he was still his FATHER and sam still loved him despite the indifference his dad has for him.
Not enough time. Make her a soulless psychopath like we made Bran. NO TIME. Just hurry! We gotta get to STAR WARS..... oh wait, we screwed this up so bad we lost Star Wars... dammit.
I've watched you guys for a long time. and I love you two and your reactions. you crack me up. and I'm really having a lot of faith, that you will be the first reactors to explain what those symbols meant. Ssl on subscribing.
If I were the Stark girls and Jon brought home Dany and her army and her dragons, I would have 100% react the way they did. Just because the audience likes Dany (mostly) doesn't mean the characters have any reason to trust her.
Just ignore the fact that Daenerys gave up everything and brought 2 dragons, 2 armies to save the world? Sansa is an idiot and evil as Cersei and Catelyn put together showing no appreciation for Daenerys.
They seem to push hard how smart Sansa is but she isn't really. But they try to make it so by acting like she would know about stocking Winterfell and armor.
I mean the armor thing might be a bit questionable, but why wouldn’t she know about stocking winterfell?? She has been acting as the lady of it, of course she knows about the stocking since she has to manage such things. Or what do you think a lord or lady’s job is, if it isn’t to make sure everything is in order and things that need to be done are done? And the armor thing could be explained with her knowing what they have in store, when the armourer probably wasn’t aware what materials they had plenty of and thus didn’t use the leather or fur on the armor. But when sansa said they should use it, the armourer found out they have enough for him to use.
🔥 It's been so much fun reliving GOT through your reactions! But now you're on your own. I can't go through Season 8 again. Not something I want to relive.
@@avonbarksdale91 : 😉 If you're here vicariously rewatching it through new eyes then 5 yrs is still too fresh. As we can't change the past, we can only be pissed in the present and probably near future.
It doesn't make sense that Sansa was straight cold towards the queen. They are her subjects now and she brought an army and two dragons. You would expect to at least pretend to like the queen because she might have you killed. In history, when there's a new king or queen, especially from a rival dynasty or foreign, those noble families would have no choice but to display a warm welcome to the visiting monarch. Cold welcome would mean open rebellion and could be stripped of titles, lands and wealth.
The "smartest person Arya knows" antagonizes Dany for no reason, withheld info about the army of the Vale coming from Jon Snow for no reason, believed that Littlefinger's plan to marry her to a Bolton would somehow be a good idea, seemingly distrusted Arya at first for no reason, questioned Jon's orders in front of the other northern lords, and criticizes Jon's choice to bring all allies possible to the North to fight for the survival of humanity. The writers intended for Sansa to become a strategic mastermind who learned well from Littlefinger, but they kind of forgot to write her that way for the most part. Her only moments were telling Tyrion that Cersei will never send the Lannister forces to help, and telling a skillful lie to the lords of the Vale about Lysa's death. And if she didn't tell that lie, she would have been kept safe in the Vale. Hard to say if she would have been able to get their army to go assist Jon in retaking Winterfell, though.
But she’s also Ned’s daughter. Ned wouldn’t entertain the idea of Joffrey being heir, shouldn’t expect Sansa to play along with North being subjugated to the Iron Throne. She’s no longer the young, weak Sansa Stark, she’s Lady of Winterfell. When Jon bent the knee to Danerys, he never got the ok from the North, they have every reason to be bitter and contest that concession
The show never clearly explains it, but the writers said it's a symbol the Children used (you see it briefly in season 6 when they create the first white walker). The Targaryen sigil is similar though
It is. They have used that symbol for centuries. Many believe the original Valyrians who came here, not Targaryens specifically as there were many families in Old Valyria, ended up living North... and dying. The Night's King, a story Martin wrote, details how that Lord Commander fell in love with a white walker.. a ghostly pale woman with white hair and brighter than natural blue eyes that never spoke. They say she "enchanted" him and he left the Wall and never returned. So, they have been there a very long time. I believe the Night King in the show is indeed Valyrian. Which is why what happens in Episode 3 happens the way it does.
Theon's goodbye to his sister is like the time my aunt was flying back home and the whole family cried and hugged her and all that then her flight got delayed and we had to sit next to her for half an hour with dried tears like, "Well... this is awkward..." and I'm glad Bridge called them out on it xD Like: Here's an emotional hug and goodbye "Theon, go and save your family!!" Theon, "Yes!!... well it'll still take 2 months for us to sail there... so... we probably should've saved our tearful goodbyes for then... ...." It was obviously scripted with the mentality that immediately after you can cut to next scene...
Well, we know Children of the Forest made the White Walkers to the similar symbols would make sense. Jon showed them to Dany in the dragonglass mine last season as well.
I’m apparently part of the best friends club for 2 days, thank you however that happened that I got this early! So excited to start the final season with you💕
This is the start of everyone just pissing me off constantly. There was no need for Sansa and Arya to be so rude and distrustful of Dany, who literally sacrificed a child and gave up winning the throne to help. Then Sam’s dumb ass “would you have killed them?” Yeah probably? They were traitors who refused to bend the knee, Jon’s literally killed multiple traitors before. And “would she give up her crown for her people,” SHE GAVE UP A DRAGON AND IS THERE TO SAVE YOU! Also, there was 0 reason to tell Jon in that moment, before the dead attack!, that he was a Targaryen.
I know the main talking point of season 7 and 8 are the flaws they have, but i hope yall will watch this last season to find the good bits and to see how everybodys story ends and not watching it to notice every little thing thats wrong, which will be hard since its the main talking point, because although they arent the best when it comes to the writing and character development, they have some good stand out moments. And giving the fact that they only had 13 episodes, after 6 seasons, to pull everything together across like 20 character storylines or something, they did do well.

You’re right about the swirl, was in the first episode. And it’s also the same shape as the stones in the creation of the white Walker flashback in season six. There are a lot of theories about what it is. Great reaction guys.
Bridgette’s scream was hilarious 😂
Her scream was the same exact scream as the kid!🤣🤣🤣
Season 8…… *sigh*…… here we go 🥃
Cry me a river.
Take a drink/hit every time the writers "just forgot" about major plot lines, character arcs and logistical facts
Bridget's facial reaction on the Umber kid was EPIC 😱 💯
I'm honestly just excited for you to get to HOTD now 😂
I haven’t seen it yet, would you say It’s better than GoT? I wanna know what to expect and what I’m getting into. I still have PTSD from GoT 😭
Here's a tip. Turn up the brightness for the 3rd episode.
It’s so much fun watching your reactions. Thank you for all the work you put into these videos. It’s appreciated. Excited to see you watch the next two episodes, especially episode three! 👍🏻😁
Omg, I am on the edge of my seat watching your reactions...I CANNOT WAIT to watch the rest of G.O.T with you two.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
They went from insane dialogue between characters to "because I have balls and you don't"
Like in season 1 where little finger asks varys if his balls are kept in a box somewhere....
25:26 this I love this scene because, having to face what he did was very humbling for him .I just love Jamie
This final season was like a fever dream long ass episode of General Hospital on medieval steroids
You're correct. You've seen that symbol a handful of times now starting with the very first episode.
At this point i'm only here because i love you guys, i want to give you the views, the likes and the ad revenue, you deserve it ❤🙂
Jon isn't the sixth targaryen. There have been many more than six targaryen Kings and many more targaryen prince's and princesses. And many more targaryen Lords even before the conquest
they meant sixth aegon
We can just assume Jaime's hair is darker because of the lack of sun (and the show no longer giving the actor a dye job or a wig--I do think his hair was lighter when he was younger, though, too) or, metaphorically, distancing himself from the Lannister mythos.
I forgot just how frustratingly dark these episodes were. I had to crank the brightness on my TV so high when I watched it as they first aired.
That’s the first time I heard that commented on and you’re right. It’s perfectly wrong in this context
“What is dead May never die”
I love it when Bridgette screams in terror lol
In this season, EVRYTHING is made up by D&D, and not GRRM, so keep this in mind. Especially the dialogues.
Because of little or no source material
Not quite true. Most of it is made up for sure. But they were told major plot points (can't mention them cause spoilers). So for all the hat3 direct3d at DnD (some people acr like they killed their pet or something( some fo that is Martin.
Also, they didn't have stuff to work with cause Martin hasn't released the next book despite having nearly 12 years to do so.
Bridgette and i share at least one braincell. That one always screaming in our head "i wanna pet that!"
I want a dragon too Bridgette! :(
Edit after watching the entire video : Love your comments, you always crack me up! x')
Also, the dying hair thing with Jaime, i'm pretty sure it's more of the showrunners not bothering to get everyone blond when they needed to be and it wasn't their natural hair color. Or to signify the "darker hair in winter". One of the two. I think he was still more blond last season, but i already can't recall :')
Also also, if you ever want some funny (i find them funny, u might not) video explain how GoT "devolved" (story wise) i highly recommend Glidus and his "Pisstake" videos. (in order of release, cuz it goes from s8 to s6 ish) Though i would recommend that after taking a break of it, cuz welp, they're a lot and it starts to get long for something u've seen x') I love his "Blisstake" about House of the Dragon too :D
Sam's family were not awful people. His father was, sure, but his brother was a good guy.
His brother stood with his asshole father.
cut them a break. people dont retain information when binge watching a long series.
Sam's brother was a dumb ass who followed his father in committing treason against his liege for a Queen who murdered his previous liege and Queen plus the equivalent of the Pope. They didn't even deserve a chance which they were given and turned down. Oh well.
His brother wasn't a bad person but they did betray house tyrell which they had pledged to for generations idk why people expected it to be chill after that
“Dickon” *laughs in Bron*
Lena Headey didn't think Cersei should have had sex with Euron either.
When Cody said he didn't like that shot of the dragons flying, don't worry. The best shot of the series is coming up shortly!
Oh stop lol. I know what you're talking about lolololololololol
A bit more relational distance is kinda better? lol. jmo.
In the books, Euron cut out the tongues of everyone on his crew; that is why he sails with a crew of mutes.
Yeah it’s talked about on the show when balon and Euron are on that sketchy bridge.
...and here we go 😅
This is definitely a season
Lost it at “Come to Aunty” 😂😂😂
idk why Sam is so upset about his father, his family were awful to him and literally said he would kill him if he didn't go to the wall where he probably hoped he'd be killed and his family did nothing to protect him.
@@lorenzocruz282 indifference? He said he’d kill him if he didn’t go to the wall? Idk if my family felt that way about me I’d be thanking dani
“Come to auntie” is crazy
I just shake my head at Cody having trouble with incesty vibes cause he is gonnna STRUGGLE in house of the dragon oh man can’t wait to see it
TBF, Martin never intended it to be taken well lol. He never wrote it as a positive thing lol.
The starbucks season!
What happened to the Arya who admired the dragon queens of old?
Not enough time. Make her a soulless psychopath like we made Bran. NO TIME. Just hurry! We gotta get to STAR WARS..... oh wait, we screwed this up so bad we lost Star Wars... dammit.
10:24 in this scene there is an easter egg for the fans to know that the "Ed sheeran" character was burned at the battle with jeimie bronn and dany.
I've watched you guys for a long time. and I love you two and your reactions. you crack me up. and I'm really having a lot of faith, that you will be the first reactors to explain what those symbols meant. Ssl on subscribing.
Sam:“Your mother was Lyanna Stark”
Jon: “oh no, my dad did incest!”
Sam: “And your father was Rhaegar Targaryen”
Jon: “shit, I did incest!”
If I were the Stark girls and Jon brought home Dany and her army and her dragons, I would have 100% react the way they did. Just because the audience likes Dany (mostly) doesn't mean the characters have any reason to trust her.
💯
Just ignore the fact that Daenerys gave up everything and brought 2 dragons, 2 armies to save the world? Sansa is an idiot and evil as Cersei and Catelyn put together showing no appreciation for Daenerys.
@@peteperkins3859not Cersei AHND Catelyn! That’s tough 🤣
She saved what she thought was her own kingdom. Not doing a noble deed 😂@@peteperkins3859
That literally means nothing to Sansa. But hating Catlin is all I need to know about your opinions, so I'm certain we can just agree to disagree.
@ 00:24 : That… that blanket is moving! 😳
"He dyed his hair :D"... we kinda forgot he had really blond hair
“A raven! I’m a bird now.”
“I fly.”
Dead lol
🔥 It's been so much fun reliving GOT through your reactions! But now you're on your own. I can't go through Season 8 again. Not something I want to relive.
Nobody cares. It’s been 5 years. The truth hurts huh? lol
@@avonbarksdale91 : 😉 If you're here vicariously rewatching it through new eyes then 5 yrs is still too fresh. As we can't change the past, we can only be pissed in the present and probably near future.
@16:22 that’s what Ygritte told him long ago beyond the wall 😢 they should’ve stayed in that damn cave
The long night is coming...
Jamie didn’t dye his hair. The producers and writers just forgot Lannister’s are supposed to have blonde hair lmaoo
The budget for white walkers overshadowed the budget for hair dye for Nikolai and Peter lol
All of this. This is why it was so stupid. She is supposed to be so politically "smart", yet pulling some dumb bird shit.
At this point, the series just wanted to create fake tension, despite how stupid it was.
THIS💯💯
But she’s also Ned’s daughter.
Back in the day, as it was airing... cercei's elephants were memed to oblivion. Everyone was roasting cercei's elephants.
I think the burning Umber kid was arranged in the shape of the Targaryen sigil.
The next episode is one of my favorites of the whole series. You're gonna love it.
Can't believe they're on season 8 already!!
Dont forget the night king biggest enemy of the show 😂
24:50 That looks like the symbol of House Targaryen!
I like how Bran waited all that time for Jaime 🤣🤣
Buckle up we’re in for a bumpy landing.
I’m apparently part of the best friends club for 2 days, thank you however that happened that I got this early!
So excited to start the final season with you💕
2:03 yeah but, at least Jon Snow and Daenerys didn't know they were related where as Jaime and Cersei have been screwing since they figured out how to
This is the start of everyone just pissing me off constantly.
I agree to everything except "they had only" they choose to have only 13 episodes, they could've done more. But yeah, it's still a beautiful show.
@@MyaMore-cb7zbyeah, that's the thing that's infuriating. HBO would have thrown money at them forever if they wanted it. Every mistake made was self-inflicted because they chose to cram 3 or 4 seasons worth of content into 1 (short) season
@@j_fley6702literally “we needed 7 more seasons and every season needed 15 episodes” like no bro they could filled gaps by making 7&8 full seasons and maybe 1 more extra one.
(Sigh) unfortunately it happens with every GOT reactor at this point. 😕 The “ we hate 7 & 8” noise is so loud that I almost wish reactors would stop at the end of 6.I’ve yet to see any reactors in the last 3 years that don’t go into 7 & 8 primarily looking for the flaws and not having the luxury that most of us had in just going on the ride.I actually saw a reactor looking for the coffee cup.🤦🏾♀️😩😂 Bridge and Cody are genuinely 2 of the best on YT but even for them I think the negative expectations were set tooo high.
@@brownbutterb-roll921 Yes and no. You don't need to know the late seasons are bad to recognized the fast travel insanity and amenisia water they all drinking. (especially ppl that were decent characters before)
But i'll agree, it's like going into Harry Potter for the first time and everyone told u "it get darker and darker" while u never asked for the info. It WILL change ur perspective compared to the person that lived it. That's part of "being late" to watch something. (I know that feeling sooo i'm not mad at them for being prepared xd)
OMG finally we are BACK!
Fun fact, Bron and Cersi dated in real life, but it ended poorly and they are never in the same scene in the show because of that reason.
Jerome Flynn has denied this.
@@HuntingViolets Well he denied the feud. He said they get along just fine. They did, in fact, date in the early 2000s. But his stance was that they were okay, and even did actually have one scene together. They get along fine, apparently.

THE MOST BALL BUSTING SEASON OF ALL TIME... BE PREPARED TO BE EXTREMELY CONFUSED LET DOWN AND EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED ☹️
I am here for Sansa and her confidence. She earned it after everything she’s been through. Sansa loves her people and wants them to be safe.
