You are right, this is a little different from their core style. It's more like "Golden Destination", "Raise Some Hell" and "Don't Bite the Dust"--light hearted, more a rocker than pure metal, and accessible for people not used to the intense, technical 6-minute campaign.

🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🐺❤️🔥🇯🇵🇮🇹 I finally got to see them live in Italy in June and I can say they are incredible, I wish all the fans and all the music lovers to see one of their concerts, it's really worth it. I Love these Girls!
Lovebites unleashed. Yes, here they show their versatility and the vibe is a little similar to “Dancing with the devil”, more on the classic rock side.
This is a brand new song from the upcoming EP on Aug 28, i really like this song. Its more on the fun side, not as heavy as their usual and great chorus for crowds!! 🤘🐺Cool video too!!
The first track on Lovebite's first EP, called The Lovebites EP, is Don't Bite The Dust which is just a little over 4 minutes. It was a Miho/Mao song and very possibly was the first song written specifically for Lovebites. The upcoming EP is called The Lovebites EP II which I believe signifies the official start of the second version of Lovebites. Unchained will be the first track on the upcoming LP and it makes sense that Miyako decided to write a song with the same feel as Don't Bite The Dust as a way to honor the past while still moving forward. I am very much looking forward to experiencing Unchained in Atlanta (although it looks like Korea will get to enjoy the live debut).
It has that "radio friendly" feel. About 4 minutes long, shorter guitar solos and a catchy hook. So, reminds me of their first music video from 2017 of Don't Bite the Dust.
Exactly this is like a bookend song for Dont Bite. I wonder if this also is co written by either Miho, support guitarist at the time Mi-Ya or Mao who were all active on the earlier music writing.
They are superimposing Hello Kitty at a subliminal level on each of them whenever they show them? It's really hard to start a conspiracy theory about cuteness....
The first time I saw this video, the very FIRST thing I noticed was Fami's boots. What made me notice them was the way she moved and her stance as she bounces. It's not a sexy thing but a SUPER cute thing as she enjoys playing this song and feeling it. I think it's one of the highlights of this video other than that unexpected blast in your face return of the chorus (JUST NASTY). They must have done a lot of retakes to make this outstanding video so perfect because you just can't have the perfect look and expressions every time. This song makes me think of to "live life today as if your going to die tomorrow, because you just might'. Remember, if your not living, your dying (slowly dying-fading away).
More of a fun catchy song that invites audience participation (Has a "Don't Bite The Dust" vibe to it), This will be a great concert song to increase crowd engagement (As if they need it). It get's better & better after each listen. As dominant as Midori & Miyako always are, Fami & Haruna lead the way in this one. They just don't miss. As always your enjoyment is also our enjoyment.
Unchained, and Lovebites hits the ground runnin' (VH reference tweaked) New song off their new EP II out on August 28th. These look like the outfits they wore on the European tour. Check out fan made videos, here is one on their first date playing London June 14th (th-cam.com/video/U0bU3zIMLOM/w-d-xo.html) Imagine being this close to the Metal Queens? I hope you are nice and close to them in Dallas Tx. My favorite part of the song, like many others favorite part at 5:14 through the M&M guitar solo.
Those were the outfits that they wore on their recent UK/European tour. You’ll find a LOT of videos out there. The single exception - Asami had a “catastrophic” shoe failure (no, she wasn’t hurt at all - there are pics though) with 1 or two shows left in the tour, so she switched to wearing platform wedges for the final shows. However - she does wear the original platforms in this video. So, it may have been recorded before the tour.
Song is brand new, yes it is on the upcoming 5 song EP (LOVEBITES EP II). Lyrics by Asami, Music by Miyako. Check on your concert, saw a comment that the Dallas show got moved to a larger venue.
@@ThePentagenarian Be very thankful it was moved. The Cambridge Room at the Dallas HoB is the secondary venue that only holds about 300 when packed and it is a sweat box with a very short stage. The stage is nice for those up close, but those further back would have a hard time seeing the band at all. Band-Maid played The Cambridge Room in 2019 but graduated to the main Music Hall in 2022 which holds around 1500 between the floor and balcony. In fact, Band-Maid was booked in a smaller venue in 2022 (possibly The Echo) before Live Nation moved it to the HoB Music Hall. Live Nation is realizing that Lovebites has a US following comparable to Band-Maid which hopefully means that Live Nation will bring them back to the US soon.
The outfit was use on the European tour. When i was in Paris 🇨🇵. LOVEBITES wear those outfit. The show was great. Great memory from that concert. FAMI love Big shoes, rewatch STAND AND DELIVER she wear plateforme Black Boots on this MV. FAMI is the tallest of LOVEBITES, a love be mutch taller 😂🇯🇵 Enchaned song, Music by MIYAKO and Lyrics by ASAMI.
Thanks for watching this new LOVEBITES song! They have been consistent in mixing up variations in genre/style even on EPs. As example aside from the first 2 EPs and these unknown 4 songs, "Glory, Glory to the World" is a 5 song release where shortest & comparable style to "Unchained" is "No Time To Hesitate" (4;14) though the opener MV is a message of hope to a c0v!d-afflicted world, "Glory To The World" (6;50mv-6;27cd) "Paranoia" (5;37) of classically-prog-thrash and "Dystopia Symphony" (6;44) that has been called Dream-Theater-esque prog. "Winds Of Transylvania" Vlad-Love version MV (5;17) was released about 10 days before "Glory To The World" MV, providing a similarly distinct contrast as we saw with "Judgement Day" MV as compared to "Stand & Deliver" MV. If another MV emerges from "LOVEBITES EP II" I expect it to be significantly different in music style & video presentation from "Unchained". Room for a "ballad" on this LOVEBITES EP ? It would be a first. New Haruna song? (!) I believe Victor is learning 'how to' present these eclectic masters of "tmgtkto" (too many genre to keep track of) ! 🐺 dreg👁
I closed my eyes and just hear the sound and.......Amazing metal sound they are so talented, just the clip it's not them style of video but the sound ..man....it's amazing , Lovebites are Fenomenal. This song in concert live must be AMAZING.

I agree as to it being the show opener, although I think it will be preceded by a short prelude; much like Awakening was to Hammer of Wrath. Trust you will provide a comprehensive review of the show in Dallas for the rest of us. Enjoy your contributions as always.
I definitely intend to give a review of the show in dallas. I'll see what kind of footage I can capture with my phone. I intend to be standing in line 2 to 3 hours before the doors open because I want to be right up front and close.
I was actually thinking the same thing as you about the Ace Frehley shoulder part on Midori's outfit. Fami is just getting better and better. Imagine her skill level in a few more years. Asami actually said in an interview a while back, that they are concerned that Fami may outgrow them. Said she's constantly wanting to learn every aspect of the business. Production, composing, piano. Said she's constantly, basically pestering them to learn something new..lol. The new combat boots Fami wears, is because she hates heels..lol Plus heals made her look much taller than the others. She already is taller than they are without the heals. So, she went with the combat boots. If you watch live clips of their EU tour. you will see Midori wearing flats to.
I had to come back and add this comment: I've been trying to figure out what it is that is so special about this song, and I got it. It is a gospel song. The transition from minor to major to start the choruses, Asami's soaring vocals and even their body language, are all straight out of a gospel revival. It all fits with the theme of "unchained". This track has pretty much everything - a seamless and innovative blend of heavy rock, speed-power metal, and a bit of thrash thrown in at the breakdown before the solo. Great catchy number, very Iron Maiden feel to it, which ain’t a bad thing, I like the diversity of music they play, Epilogue, Dancing with the devil, Swan song, Hammer of Wrath, Don’t bite the dust, good range of different genre blended very well with great melodies. I think us older generation appreciate good rock because we grew up during the best days of rock music, Black Sabbath Master of reality and Priest Sad wings of destiny, they really take some beating, IMHO. 😂😂😂😂
This song is from their Early career writing works and is when the band wasnt sure what kind of Hard Rock or Metal direction they were going. Its very Hard Rock but upbeat not unlike what Band Maid was producing at the same time. This new EP is those older/earlier songs but remastered with todays band. The bands first EP and some of their first full length have Hard Rock Radio Friendly riffs and grooves. What this shows is how much of a All Around Great Rock band they really are. That was refreshing. A very good song. More music. Fewer power chords. I know that Miyako was told to step up her game with songwriting. I would say she succeeded.
I'm betting the other songs on the new EP will be different than this one. I really like this one, it's just a bit on the short side. I prefer longer songs, because more is more. ☺
It’s a reasonable assumption. Indeed, when NEMOPHILA announced their first visit to the U.S., for their one-man at the Whiskey A-Go-Go, I expected they would announce some additional shows. But no. It was one-and-done. So glad on jumped on the tickets. I see this song as a deliberate effort to broaden their appeal with more accessible music.
It’s a shorter song that focuses on a catchy chorus (meant to reach new people), but at the same time it is still very much a typical sounding Lovebites song (so it likely won’t reach new people). It doesn’t stand up well when competing with some of the older songs IMO, but at the same time it’s also not a new divergence either (like no Fami influences, bass solo, or whatnot); so nothing really stands out to me. I don’t know who it is meant to appeal to. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. Just my opinion.
You are right, this is a little different from their core style. It's more like "Golden Destination", "Raise Some Hell" and "Don't Bite the Dust"--light hearted, more a rocker than pure metal, and accessible for people not used to the intense, technical 6-minute campaign.

I'm a big fan of J-Rock and J-Metal 🤘
It’s a reasonable assumption. Indeed, when NEMOPHILA announced their first visit to the U.S., for their one-man at the Whiskey A-Go-Go, I expected they would announce some additional shows. But no. It was one-and-done. So glad on jumped on the tickets.
I see this song as a deliberate effort to broaden their appeal with more accessible music.
wouldn't hurt to read the description in their video first...
I like to live vicariously... lol
Honestly, I was in a hurry due to work.. OOPSY!
