I am so happy to have purchased three hoyas from you today. The last purchase is already growing like crazy, you do a GREAT job and your plants are healthy. THANK you!! :-)
I had to hold back buying this time around. I love your shop and buying from you. Your packaging is perfect. I look forward to getting ahold of some of these in the future. Beautiful beautiful plants 💕✨🌿🌜💚
Hi, Cherie!!!! At the time I listed the plant you purchased it was the biggest of the bunch. These have been sitting here with me for a few more weeks so they are getting bigger the longer they are with me LOL. Hopefully yours is growing nicely too :).
Hi Gena! Oh, how tempting! I see at least 5 things I would love to have. However, I am fighting mealy bugs right now. I got a syngonium albo from you about a year ago. It had 3 leaves. I put it on a mosspole and she took off! She reached the top of the pole and I chopped her top off and stuck it in the soil and that one took off too! Now I'm ready to chop her again, but I discovered mealy bugs on her! 😪 Fortunately, she isn't too dense, and I can check and spray all the leaves regularly. Hopefully I will have this under control soon, but of course, no surprise, I have found mealies on other plants too so I am waging full scale war! I use a mixture of Safer's Soap and alcohol, and the plants tolerate it really well, and I have eradicated mealies completely from other plants with it. Any other suggestions?
Hi, Sue! I feel pretty fortunate to not have had to deal with mealy bugs all that much. My first experience was with some succulents and I just tossed those in the trash. My second experience I was determined to save because it was a large Hoya pubicalyx that I purchased from facebook marketplace. That plant was INFESTED! When I got it it was clean, but shortly after they showed up (I know they came with the plant). I basically took the whole plant outside and removed every last bit of dirt from the roots and sprayed the heck out of that plant with a garden hose. Then I took a homemade bug spray (soap, peroxide and rubbing alcohol) and sprayed the heck out of it. Never saw a mealybug after that LOL. I've had a couple of Hoya come with mealybugs and was able to easily wash them away (they were small cuttings), and that's the extent of my dealings with mealybugs. They seem really easy to get rid of...and now I'm hoping I haven't jinxed myself by saying that LOL. My suggestion is a vigorous cleaning with water. Remove all soil. Spray with your bug spray. That worked for me :).
@@ThePinkTrellis Yeahhh. I never had a problem with mealies either. I moved to Florida last year and I keep most of my plants on my screened lanai year round. I have a lot more pest problems here than I had in New Jersey. It seems like the pests are a little different than the ones up north, I guess because of the climate. I've struggled with spider mites too, but they are different, the webs are smaller and the damage is different, and I have had them on plants I wouldn't expect, like my monstera deliciosa.
Someone interesting trade ? I have Hoya miniballe Hoya mathilde and Hoya verticulara alvo margenata and Hoya sun rise variegated string of peas varieties string off harts I’m interested in Hoya
While the plant I bought from you is absolutely beautiful, I did not realize such a small plant that cost $20 would cost me $15 for shipping. What’s up with that? Tbh, it turns me off from buying anything else from you, though I would like to.
Hi, there! Thanks for placing an order even when not liking the price of shipping. There is more that goes into shipping beyond the cost of postage. Even above the cost of the material used to package the item(s). I appreciate your frustration with the cost and I totally understand if you do not want to purchase more from me in the future because of that. That is 100% your choice. I'm not forcing anyone :). On a personal note.... I recently paid $14.95 for shipping on two tiny Hoya and frequently pay around that price so I don't think I'm being unreasonable...especially when I compare their packaging to my packaging. But that's my opinion :). Usually those sellers that charge cheap shipping, it's reflected in the way they package their plants. I really don't know what else to say about this. Thanks for reaching out.
@@ThePinkTrellis I think I was more so frustrated because I didn’t realize how much the shipping was until I looked at my bank account. I may have overlooked it , but usually would notice this before I made the purchase. Anyway, no hard feelings and I do enjoy your content and have for a long time now. Your collection is stunning and i admire the hard work you put into it.
All the best Gena for your store, I really loved all the plants you’re offering, just wish if I’m near; will buy all those hoyas as I don’t have them in my collection 👍🏻🥰🪴❤️

I don’t think it’s fair that everyone pays the same shipping price regardless of what and how much they buy.
