Unbelievable! With bodycam footage available - it disgusts me that Nance got away with this unjustified shooting! He not only could have killed the suspect without cause, but also many innocent bystanders! 😡
So because there was a *report* of a man shooting up in the air, Nance thought it was a good idea to shoot at a moving vehicle who wasn't trying to hit or hurt him? Of course he did!

Watching a cop hear "That's him", no idea if the event happened, and start trying to execute the person driving by is deeply disturbing. Self defense is one thing, but to start shooting towards an apartment complex like that in no danger and lie about it floored me.
Nance is the criminal, and they literally have no proof that Anthony did anything. Those women could’ve just made it up, and now he’s guilty of something that isn’t probable. What a joke.
I’m surprised that I had to scroll this far to see this comment. With no evidence that a firearm was discharged and few other 911 calls there’s no evidence that he was even armed. He was essentially fleeing for his life from the facts we have.
So when they were in the apartment looking for bullet holes did they even find any? Did she just gaslight them enough into thinking a gun discharging wouldn’t leave a bullet hole? Genuinely confused.

Insert "begins to lie" and take out boo hoo. You know that female lied about everything. He probably broke up with her so she had to teach him a lesson.
It comes down to police having more rights than citizens. If you look at "justified" police shootings youll see in a lot of cases if a civilian used the same force in the same situation they would be in prison.
Please explain to me how that cop was justified in firing his weapon? He didn’t even know for certain the guy had a gun. If cops believe everyone who calls 911, we’re in trouble.
They are trying so hard so so hard to place blame on the person that I can only assume is legitimately the victim. And you trust these people? The ones that will absolutely die if they don't get your ID?
If any civilian, fired a weapon in that reckless of a manner, they would be arrested for doing so! I'm really starting to think we need to disarm law enforcement.
Agreed, but QI doesn't protect cops from criminal actions. He should be arrested and charged with depraved indifference and assault with a deadly weapon.
In case none of you knew the qualified immunity came into play when white cops were killing black people at random for their pleasure. And nothing happened to them.. It wasn't until blacks were able to sue for a wrongful death. That's when qualified, Immunity came into play. Cause The government did not want black people being able to sue white cops for murder of black people.. So there is no way qualified immunity is ever going to end for white cops because they are still killing innocent black people.
Sooo I have questions. 1 Before shooting was he able to verify with 100% certainty that was a correct person? 2 Was he able to verify if anyone else was in the vehicle before shooting? 3 Was he aware of his backstop before shooting? 4 Was his life or that of anyone else in imminent danger that would force him to shoot?
5. Did the guy commit any crime at all? 6. How is there no evidence of him discharging a rifle in a tiny apartment? 7. Why didn’t they question the validity of the “victim’s” report after no evidence was found?
When he started shooting, the car had already just passed him. There was no threat, and it could be argued he was fleeing at the time. That means it is attempted murder. Clear as day.
I know!! …. I saw another video where cops came up from behind, tased and took down a guy walking away from them. Turns out he was deaf. He never even saw that there were police behind him.
Right? What if he was just hearing loud music and didn't heard? What if he just saw a random guy with a gun and thought he was gonna get robbed? What if he didn't see the officer at all?

That was straight up attempted murder and he didn't get charged with anything, or even at the bare minimum fired. Nance lied about every single factor of danger to justify an illegal street execution, and he didn't know if it was even really the suspect. This is complete insanity.
Technically not attempted Murder. Attempted Manslaughter maybe. The shooting wasnt premeditated. Cop didn't have "Actual Malice" Don't get me wrong. I'm Not defending the cop. Just clarifying legal terminology.
For reals... I think the officer did his job, people can't just act with complete impunity like they're not required to be responsible and follow instructions.
Just because someone says that's him doesn't actually mean that was him. I believe this cop got away with a crime or crimes. His shooting was unjustified. Taking care of their own seems to be the norm nowadays.

Have you seen the video of a fast-food person shooting out the drive through window at a customer? Maybe working at McDonald's wouldn't be the right choice either.
McDonald’s is actually more dangerous than being a police officer it’s funny how they claim they have a dangerous job when statistics show that being a police officer is one of the safer jobs in America.

Love how while “investigating” the other officers try and come up with “possible narratives” to justify the shooting!! They appeared to be there most of the day investigating, so no one thought to take a look at bodycam footage shorty after the incident?
I did the math and he is going about 7mph and speeds to a crazy 9mph given the easy to find dimensions of the parking lot. And I'm pretty sure that's a 10mph speedbump. You could argue he was driving without knowledge of the cop stopping him at all at that speed.

Yeah it sucks they not only can add charges to increase your likely sentence but it's common knowledge if you refuse your plea deals you received the maximum sentence if you get found guilty in a trial. My uncle had a list of bad paper charges (sounds bad on paper but in reality wasn't that bad) his plea deals 1st 10 years 2nd 8 years 3rd 5 years out in 18mths with good behavior. He lost trial got 38 years. I was held in county jail where it's 23hrs a day locked in a cell made for 2 people but had 3 3rd sleeps on the floor for 19mths they kept dragging it out cause the county gets paid for each inmate from the federal government. It's a common tactic in that county all trials or cases where the defendant wants to go to trial takes a minimum of 1 year they want to break you and force you into a bad plea deal hopefully you fuck up come right back in earning them about $1,000 a week 😢 that's our justice system at work
@14:38 the girl's story completely changed. I'm wondering if any of the officers pulled her aside and had a "talk" with her. How did her story go from "he shot into the air" to "he shot at me. I had to legit run out the apartment." Maybe the cops felt they NEEDED someone's life to be in danger to justify the shooting?
And not for nothing, but it's so disingenuous that he's telling all the other cops that the guy was "coming towards me" and they're truly checking on him, making certain he's ok, in a good headspace, as if his life was truly in danger of being run over, and he's lying through his rotten teeth. Disgusting. Reprehensible.
It concerns me that people call 911 with lies, then someone dies or is injured by police because of those lies. If this lady lied she should be held accountable as well.
All the cops that conspired to cover up need to be charged. The victim should be charged as well for lieing. If he shot in the apartment there would have been evidence of it.
