- Happy new year!!! Here's a gauntlet I did on Ultra Sun trying to train a Pokemon to level 100 in a single SOS battle. Do I have to defeat some shiny Pokemon along the way? Watch and see!

This was surprisingly easy with the Chansey and Blissey; I might try this again on the original Sun and Moon where it will be slightly more difficult to rake in the EXP. - เกม

He could have just killed the non shiny then given the shiny harvest and a leppa berry so he could continue the chain and catch the shiny at the end.

Here's an idea: Level 100 Gauntlet with the Pokewalker only. Only 1 level can be gained each walk, so sending it back and forth between HGSS and the 'walker would be necessary. Apart from that, imagine how many steps you've have to take!

The most difficult challenge in the world. Get a mon experience while they're shadow pokemon in Colosseum or XD and have them level up to 100 upon purification. You won't.
I like this idea!!! I think I might actually try it! I would do two methods for it: the first doesn't really count and is kind of a way to cheese the whole process (I used it on a playthrough where I wanted to play through the game quickly), and the second is a full attempt at the actual challenge, which seems very difficult based on how training Shadow Pokemon works in those games!

I almost managed to do that with Lugia, but I bet it'd be SUPER impressive if you did it with, like, Ledyba or something.
You could’ve stolen the leppa berry from the original, given it to the shiny, and skill-swapped it with the harvest trevenant.

In pokemon silver i was fighting Morty and his Gangar pretty much wiped my team except for my lv.5 Togepi. He couldn't hurt it so i slowly whitled it down with rollout. After like 20 minutes i beat him and Togepi jumped up like 30 levels.

In Ultra Sun/Moon, Adrenaline Orb doesn't just make reinforcements more likely; it's downright necessary to encounter more than one backup Pokemon. Catching Pokemon in Sun/Moon could get extremely tedious if the weakened target kept calling in support, so they most likely did this to fix that issue.
You're such an underrated TH-camr, I watch every single one of these gauntlets and I find it amazing your dedication to such a tedious task. This is an awesome video, and good luck with the next one!

I'm not sure having a Chansey without Fling mattered, as when I raised Pokémon to level 100 the same way, it would just harvest the berry and fling it again. Great video by the way! Looking forward to the next one!
I didn't realize that lol; I thought the consumption of the berry only referred to it actually eating the berry; still I don't regret skipping out on fling because then there was no way it could harm my Pokemon at all.

Couldn't you have killed the first Chansey and chained from the shiny one, then catch the shiny one after you hit level 100?
spaghetti unfortunately he already gave the leppa berry to it and the ability harvest. While trevenant had the ability it received from Chansey when skill swap was used
in retrospect I probably could have; I don't think it would have struggled itself to death with the amount of Chanseys remaining to reach the goal. At the time, I didn't know whether or not it would run out of PP before I hit level 100, so I didn't want to risk it

If he used trick instead of bestow he could have swapped harvest and the leppa to the shiny. I've done it to keep a shiny alive like Beldum.

I know this video is years old but I've only recently discovered you and watching through this fantastic series in order... if you still don't know, when SOS chaining you can use an adrenaline orb to essentially skip a move, if you've already used one it won't waste it and it bypasses the need for non effective moves!

This is literally how I train all my Competitive Pokemon, except using exp share to train 5 at once. I have probably almost 20 shiny Chansey and 5 shiny Blissey from chaining them so many times and for so long

In my whole life I've seen like 2 shinies, a Lillipup, and an Eevee I hatched from an egg recently

Absol, I don't think you have to worry about the Chansey and Blissey mourning the shiny one you had to put down. If they're anything like humans, they would have made fun of and ridiculed the shiny because it was different and strange. They would be praising you for killing it. I like to pretend SOS hunts are giving the shiny the love and care it deserves after all that time living in racism.

First off, I love this video and your other level 100 Gauntlets.
Now listen to this: A few months ago I caught an Absol and named it Blogs (I wonder why), then I went to SOS chain these Chansey's to level up my Absol to level 60 so I could repel-trick for Blacephalon, as my Absol in my party was the only Pokemon lower than level 60. I looked up at my computer just to notice we have basically the exact same battle situation, same Pokemon, same area, same name even. I felt like like I really needed to share this lol. So coincidental!

I kinda like how a pokemons name will change to your language when you evolve it. It's almost like they grow to be more like the trainer who raised them. Also if you had given trick on your other trevenant you could have used the shiny chansey as your harvest caller.
