More current when you spool up than when you’re at full power! Of course, because the rotor tries to catch up with the rotating field, the higher the “slippage” the higher is the current drawn, max current is when you firewall the throttle from standing still, that’s why they have a soft start feature. Try this, lock you prop and open full throttle, your speed regulator will burn out without a current limitation. BTW I noticed you’re a mode 2 flyer, me too 🤗 happy landings.

Hi, what about that flaps movement when you use full throttle? It doesn´t look ok so much ... Very nice start and landing btw ...
Hello thank you. Sorry not sure what you mean, but I would never use flaps at full throttle anyway, especially on a big and fast scale model like this.
@@stuartwarnerc Hi, in video I see big vibrations of flaps (closed) at higher rpm's.
Dzordzikk I haven’t seen anything like that in person, but I’ll check next time. Thanks
@@stuartwarnerc Check this video from time 9:43 .. It is clearly visible ...
@@Dzordzikk Ah now I know what you mean. This has since been taken care of. This was on the maiden prop, the prop I now fly with is much better balanced but also I've reduced my top end power so there is now flap vibration at full throttle now. Also adjusted the flap 'closed' end points so they hold a little firmer. But yes thanks for the consideration.
Very cool.
Cool plane. Couldn't you put a 4 bladed prop on it though. A P-51 just doesn't look right with a two bladed prop, although it seems to fly alright with it.
