I gotta say that it would be a great bike for the price if they opted to give you all the "accessories" as standard pieces, as it sits it's another naked bike in the lot with no clear advantage over the others. If it cut 30+ pounds off and gained an extra 10hp and 5 ft lbs of torque plus all the accessorized pieces as standard operating equipment this would beat out the likes of KTM, Triumph, Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, and Kawasaki in one fell swoop like they did with the S1000RR years ago.
I know different bikes, but I am looking for a street bike with cruise control (I already have a Panigale V2) and I am between this BMW F900R an Indian FTR 1200...any thoughts from anybody?
Anybody have experience with both a GS and this bike? I'm currently riding a 2017 BMW R1200 GS Rallye and using it mostly for long distance rides and I love its suspension. But because of my bike weight issues with the GS, I'm thinking of replacing it with this one. I'm worried though how it would fare against the GS, in terms of suspension, on long distance rides.
I timed your 0-60mph launch from the traffic light starting at 6:56 and you got about 3.8-3.9 seconds including roll out obviously. I'm sure the bike (and rider) could achieve something in the low 3s or high 2s though.
Don't you mean "540" instead of "450" degree firing order? Nice bike, is it really that loud, or did you place a microphone in the pipe? Also, it would look much better with the chin spoiler, but that's JMO.

Good vibrations!
is this standard or low suspension
Adam, I can't wait for the commute with the new ducati streetfighter V4S and please mention your body height to let us have an idea of the comfort with the impressions you will have riding it. Thanks !
He usually mentions he's about 6 feet.
@@spencehutchinson1904 thanks mate
Commute videos really let you know if it's 👍or👎.
I like the BMW.
Why did you delete the yzf r1m 2020 video
ktm790 duke...... lighter, more fun, cheaper, no contest
This bike does a lot of things, including commute and touring, night riding. The BMW is much more capable and complete.
Yes absolutely, and they probably spend just as much time at the workshop
How would you compare it to the shiver 900?
BMW 20 lbs less weight, shiver 9 no IMU option, I don't think shiver 9 has a slipper clutch, BMW new kid on the block revised bike head to toe, shiver 9 a few years hasn't been revised
@@rayb5394 I know the specs was looking for on bike difference.
@@olivejuice1012 hey just incase you are looking at a shiver they are great bikes I used to own a shiver 750 and it was amazing but there is one big downside you must make sure you have another bike and have a dealer close by I say you need another bike cause if you need parts and they don't have them in the states you will be waiting a month from Italy that is ultimately why I had to partway with my shiver
@@aaronslack4421 I have a shiver 750 and haven't had to wait more than a week maybe two for parts and do my own maintenance. I keep some parts in stock at the house. That being said i do have another bike but im usually on the shiver and its been very good to me.
Awesome freakin bike. Seems like this MT07 sorta v-twin market is popping off as the best all around bikes. Anyone got any other recommendations to look into similar to these?
Street triple was refreshed this year too, speed twin has great reviews as well...z900 was refreshed also now with tc riding modes power modes color dash, and of course mt09, xsr900 same engine as mt09, shiver 900, Ducati 821, Suzuki gsxs750, Honda cb650r
I watch all your video's!!!!!
Hi, nice review by the way... I was curious as to what city were you mostly filming in for this video?
Santa Barbara.
@@1990-t1j ohh ok, I wasn't quite sure. At first I kinda thought Florida until I really paid attention but I lived in San Diego for 4 1/2 years while in the military....
Lane splitting legal in CA
Looks like the LA area because I saw a Interstate 405 sign.
68' HeavyChevyRida thats Orange County
This or Duke 890?
I timed your 0-60mph launch from the traffic light starting at 6:56 and you got about 3.8-3.9 seconds including roll out obviously. I'm sure the bike (and rider) could achieve something in the low 3s or high 2s though.
Very nice looking bike
Don't you mean "540" instead of "450" degree firing order?
Nice bike, is it really that loud, or did you place a microphone in the pipe?
Also, it would look much better with the chin spoiler, but that's JMO.
450° is 360° + 90° That is the other side of 270° 270°+450° =720 2x revolutions
Thought this was your best episode yet. Felt more relaxed, and got more of a sense of your personal opinion. Without knowing you, this sort of video is not so informative.
Is the engine better than Yamaha’s triple on the MT-09?
no.. for sure
This is a cool bike.
