I was 7 years old when I watched this video exactly 10 years ago. I was so impressed that I promised I would one day take the wheel and play this game. Now I am doing this.
Yes, it does work with clutch, but there arent much optional to get everything really right as example the feedback or pedals, but its good enough to play with mods. :)
@@x3m244 Yes, i did also enjoy this game a lot; which was one of the best racing game to do real life driving on a proper way. Also the modding for pc version was really fun. :)

@@x3m244 Actually the real dev from the first TDU game was the same team behind The Crew game series i though, but The Crew game series wasn't bad and it could be like the first TDU game; but it didn't. The Crew game missed few things after all. Also TDU 2 got close with a different dev and still it wasn't like it supposed to as in the first game.

In Test Drive Unlimited for PC are many mods to use as example cars mods, rims mods, physics mods, sounds mods and more... The mods makes Test Drive Unlimited a great game, because you can add a new car in the game with same performance and handling as reallife car (you place the mods over a original car of TDU) and most carmods looks much better then originel cars in the game. what i mean is that mods can make the cars in game much more realistic and you can fix the originel cars of the game.

it is a ingame engine sound but modded made by someone.. you dont need to use program or other thing, because it is just the same file as the original but just need to replaced.
they should just turn the next TDU into a real open driving simulator with a strict road rule regulations and a realistic physics. All I did in TDU2 was just cruise the Hawaiian island with a couple of my friends in a ferrari. We had more fun driving the game like in real life than racing.
no problem, but ye it isnt a fame game on germany only. There some other country's too, but for some reasons TDU became underrated and lost fame as example on PS2,PSP, Xbox360 and PS3, but on PC it came later a bit back because there was some mods to try on a big world that gave improvement and a lot more interest in the game to play and that gave the game more nice memories actually too, it not the best game but good enough as i said earlier. :)
I dont said that i have a G27. The G27 has the same set as G25 actually. In the box of G27 is the pedalsbox with clutch, H shifter and offcourse the G27 steering wheel. The game will support the clutch pedal, H shifter and steering wheel.
Yes, but i have a G25. They re actually the same steering wheel, that means is possible for you to play with G27, if you have it... But it isnt the best game to play with steering wheel, because it have not much options to make your steering wheel perfect actually, but ye is good enough to play and for sure with this mods... :)
I use a wheel everyday, that's how I drive. And I dont really play car games anymore, but when I do I play, I enjoy GTR 2. And btw, Fanatec CSR is a real wheel, not the G25.
The wheel is around 200$ and you can find it almost everywhere but I had one before and the wheel itself was a bit laggard. I prefer you buy the thrust master GT5.
no, lolz it is TDU 1= Test Drive Unlimed it did sold under the name of Atari. I think the game is hard to find now on stores or steam or something, but maybe you could download it with torrent..

The RPM gauge will drop when you push the clutch in. You can do that with out touching the stick at all.
