Asalamu alaikum everyone 💖 Jazakallah for all your well wishes and prayers. But please note this video was recorded a while ago and a lot of things have changed. I will make an updated video soon. But you should see from my vlogs that my habit with prayers has changed. Alhamdulillah I am now able to get up for fajr on time and Alhamdulillah is no longer a struggle 😊🤲🏾✨

Masha Allah. Like everything in life, learning new things come with some challenges that fade away with time. Your utmost gift is Islam, that makes you a Jannat (paradise) candidate. Even us, born into Islam are still learning, on daily basis. Take it nice and slow, you will acquire much knowledge as time goes on. As for your relatives not wanting to accept your new religion, also give it time, later all the dusts will settle when they discover that you've chosen your path. Set alarm to help your Fajir prayers and do not delay to perform your ablution, to defeat shaitan from encouraging you to fall asleep and miss time for your prayers. I pray Allah's continuous blessings and guidance for you. We love you Sister Khadijat ❤❤❤

It definitely not easy sister that's what we who are not reverts go through.
The wisdom behind it is that the road to jannah is full of obstacles, waking up for fajr prayers is just one of the struggles.
But as you keep do it Allah will make it easy with you I promise. I could think remember the day I was in the situation waking up was difficult but now I can't start my day without doing it

Salam alaikum Sister Khadija Ceci! Listening to your experience makes me pray for you: may ALLAH make it easier for you with your spiritual journey.
Kindly, provide your family members with the Qur'an to enable them access the knowledge and information that guided you to Islam. Show them some religious debates that may get them interested. Show them You-Tube videos on miracles of the Qur'an.
Secondly, Learn to sleep early at the right time in order to wake up early for Fajr prayers. You may set your Alarm clock just on time for Fajr prayers.
Thirdly, All Qur'anic surahs can be found on recorded tapes. As such, it will be easier for you to memorize them while reciting them as well .
Finally, interact with learnered Muslim sisters in order to imbibe the basic tenets of Islam and its practices . Don't stay alone, lest Satan should whisper doubts into your heart. Take it easy , one step at a time and hopefully, ALLAH will make it easy for you, Ameeeen.Jazakallahu Khair.

Your journey to Islam wasn't easy, you did it by searching for the truth with your Soul and dedication in your zeal to discover your purpose in this life, therefore persevere, be steadfast and take one step at a time !

People in The West, especially friends and maybe family, they do not want to see "change" from who you were; especially in terms of appearance and maybe behaviour as well to a lesser extent.
    . Here are some TIPS
    (1) Keep your original name (at least for a period, and if you really yourself like to make a change, then do that in the long future after you are more accepted by family/friends that you have changed and still the same person!
    (2) Get your "visual appearance" as close to your original dressing style as you can!
Meaning, wearing a triangular peace of clothing, so called Hijab, is not essential BECAUSE it not the only way you can cover your hair; so maybe a beanie or some other way you can cover hair (invent something and make business selling them, as a further tip!)
What Islam says is to cover up to the minimum required to be decent, so not to attract or invite male attention from strangers.
So with only female company or members of your family members are okay to be around them without your hijab thing.
Hijab is a tool to cover up the hair, but it is not the only way to cob=ver up!!
Hijab has become a uniform. I think it is better to avoid to advertise that you are different. It is better, I think, to blend in, while keeping yourself to the rules and the commands of Islam!!!
In the West hijab has become a "uniform" that attracts attention, and hence a tool to identify Muslims. Islam haters will use this to insults and even attack!
Allah does want to make your life easy, not more difficult.
So I advise to cover but don't use hijab (unless you like to or want to!) INSTEAD you may wear a beanie or crown jewels if you can afford them/
You can be stylish but conform to Islamic rules and commands, I believe!! ALL THE BEST/

Would like to commend you for the desire to become the version of yourself. My advice to you is have SABR and not to be too hard on yourself. Take it easy. It takes baby steps and you will in sha Allah someday become a better version of yourself. You just have to think about how long it took you before embracing Islam. Your journey to Islam gives you enough evidence to know that one doesn't become a " model ". There is actually nothing like a model Muslim since there's always room for improvement

It's Satan that is putting you DOWN during Fajr prayers! Hence if you experience such, QUICKLY seek refuge from the Almighty Allah SWT by saying, "A oozu billabi minas shaidani rajim" Good luck

I patiently watched your video before leaving my comment. I have watched you almost from the beginning and to me you came across as someone who did not really know what they believed even as a Christian. Despite all the evidence that you must have seen even in the process of you reviewing Islamic videos like the quran not understanding what trinity is, the life of Mohammed, and too many to mention, you ignored all the signs and went ahead. It's your choice as you can be who ever you want to be however, there is nothing that proves to me that islam is from God.
As regards understanding Islam, I have many friends who have been Muslims all their lives and I can tell you that despite their commitment to studying islam, if you ask them very simple question they can't provide answer. In summary they recite and study but from what I have experienced with them, they don't really still understand islam, maybe because Arabic is not their language. If you also need to learn arabic before you can know God, then I will ask, why? If allah truely created everyone and everything. I have also been told by my muslim friends that the quranic arabic is 'old arabic' so it's not easy to understand. They always want to check a book first before they can explain anything.
If you have watched videos by Christian Prince and till went ahead to become a Muslim, then you are the only one who can really explain why you are a muslim as it's not because islam is true.
Hope you have a good day and if you ever found out that you are wrong, hope you will be bold enough to also leave regardless

I have followed her from the beginning too. I've never seen her tackle the difficult issues when discussing Islam she always ran away from them.If you believe your religion is the truth then it should be strong enough to face the fire. It amazing me, many go through these motions of being of Muslim doing salat, dawah and etc but they don't have a personal relationship with God. Islam is like community religion where you do these rituals and follow the traditions of a man. But where is her relationship with God. As a Christian we pray, meditate, worship, praise and cry-out to God on this journey through life as he walks through difference struggles and blessings and our faith becomes stronger because we know what his delivered us through in the past. My sin has separated me from God but my good works can not bring me to him, only through his son Jesus Christ can we be reunited with the Father, as the Father is in the son and the son in the Father, so through the son we can have the Father in us.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the word, the word was with God and the word was God. 1:2 He was with God in the beginning. 1:3 All things were made through him(Jesus), and without him nothing was made that has been made. 1:4 In him was life and the life was the LIGHT of all mankind. 1:5 The Light shines in darkness and the darkness could not comprehend.
The sister is in darkness and cannot comprehend the Light which brings life to all mankind. That which is the word of God, the image of God, the will God, the word who is God himself. Jesus Christ. (John 1:14 And the word became flesh and dwelt among us).
I once tried to explain to a Muslim the verse in "Matthew 15:11 What goes in a man does not defile him but was comes out his mouth defiles him" . What the verse means that it is not what you eat that defiles because these things are earthly things and things of the flesh. But what comes out your heart is from your spirit. The Flesh is temporary and will perish but the soul will last forever. God looks at the heart of a man. That last meal you placed into your mouth is temporary but the what comes out your mouth is from your heart. That is forever because it can defile your soul.
God Bless, I don't know where all these came from, maybe not for you or for me but it is a word for someone.
