From a Michigan fan- mad respect to Liufau. What a warrior torching our defense, especially on the last TD throw being in pain. Haven't heard any updates on his injury and I pray that he's alright because I wanna see Colorado shock the entire Pac 12
AtrHoliday he might play vs USC. We don't know yet. Montez has looked much much better the last two weeks. CU fan here you guys really took to us after our big start. I hope we shock the PAC 12 also. Nice to see Michigan playing top 5 football again
@10:15 the difference between Harbaugh and Hoke in a nutshell. Harbaugh calls timeout to force a punt and try to score. Hoke would have let the clock run to go to halftime for a nice talk with lots of clapping and pointing.
1. Love to see Isaac improving. His patience / vision and pass blocking are all far better than previously 2. To the UM fans thinking the sky is falling; STOP. CU probably should have been ranked around 22 or so, they are a good team and building a good program once again. And we still won by 17, not every game will be 63-3. 3. Our safeties got exposed deep while trying to play cover. However, I question Don Brown's D alignment scheme (unless players are mis-aligning). There were times yesterday where a corner was literally covering no one and instead of moving over we had an LB or Safety covering the slot receiver or tight end. That's basic recognition 4. One huge thing I have 100% noticed is UM tackling. First two games arms were extremely wide and loading up for tackle and wrapping with the wide arms. Against CU they were lowering their should and just trying to hit. I am sure that will be fixed. 5. When CU Punter hit the back of his own player at the 35, ball should have been automatically dead and UM ball at 35, not at the 40 where it went out of bounds, refs blew that call.
Couldn't agree more, he's literally the one runner where every time we run that sweep/toss with him i yell out "look at his patience" the way he lets his blocks develop in front of him and finds the hole using patience, not speed
Don Browns scheme is fine -we must be patient it's been three games and these guys are still adjusting - just wait the defense will be a rolling machine before years end . Safeties blew the coverage in the middle and Jourdan Lewis will be back Saturday vs penn state . Their is a learning curve with a new system and u can only get real reps by playing teams , from that u gain experience and can improve . Go blue !
Mario Messina Defense is completely opposite of offense, defense can be learned a lot faster. Not to say there is NO learning curve but the recognition of 2 defenders against 3 receivers has nothing to do with a learning curve or adjusting to a new defense. After listening to Don Brown's interviews, it seems as though players were lined up incorrectly and were biting too hard on play action and even he stated that the players know the system, even though he takes all blame. Everyone keeps blaming corner play and saying getting Lewis back will be the solve all, both Stribs and Clark are playing exceptional. They are actually the top 2 corners rated in the Country right now. The only thing getting Lewis back will help is now you can move Clark to the nickel and cover the slot instead of one of the safeties. And since Clark was previously a safety he knows the reads from back there as well if needed. Hill and Thomas are great at underneath routes and run support, but there is not too many safeties that can cover a slot on deep routes. The LB's need to be better when reading run versus pass, because they were the main ones of any "blame" for all the passes over the middle. But as said, I am sure it will be fixed and continue to get better as well as you. Go Blue!
Years later... As a Michigan fan... I'm watching this game to see if Michigan ever played Colorado. As yall know.. Deion Sanders.. Primetime was hired by Colorado in 2022.
Speight wasn't nearly as bad as we used to make him out to be... He's probably been the best QB Harbaugh had start at Michigan. Rudock would be the only other guy in that conversation.
Millen's comment about the Colorado punter probably having his hair in his eyes is never not funny. You can tell his haircut for some reason was bugging him and the first chance he gets he rips on it. I like Millen now.
Brian Nimer And then his backup (who was awful vs. Michigan -- but, they didn't gameplan around him, obviously), promptly goes out and beats Oregon on their home turf. Wow.
It would appear; despite the final score; that this game is a thriller. Im a noob to college ball; and I want to check out Wolverines without sitting through a blowout. Devotee here makes that possible; For 20 minutes I'll watch in order to understand their offense and defensive philosophy.

This Colorado team finished the season top 15, a very solid win by Michigan
I see ur comments on every Michigan highlight #"true Michigan fan".
Jabril Peppers "I see the ball. I go get the ball" thats my motto. I love it.
JT was short
15:14 that trainer got rocked in the face by Peppers helmet. Ouch

Had Liufau not gotten injured Colorado would have been in that game until the end and might have pulled off the upset.
MAYBE, i think Michigan also stepped up too

we need HD
best game of 2016

Yes he was, he never showed up in a game that truly mattered, and made horrible decisions in those games.
I believe Cade has taken that spot haha
@@willmorrison4268 absolutely agree. Cade is one of my favorite Michigan QBs of all-time after Henne
@@willmorrison4268I believe McCarthy took that spot now
Hell of an effort Colorado. Good game.
Jabrill was shoved into the sideline but that fool got mad 😂
That was Phillip Lindsay he’s a turd
bruh i was 7 and i was like bruh we are gonna lose i come back from playing football and we had won
This was a game where Michigan got lucky on the injury, and also another prime example of Don Brown never adjusting his defense.
Thank God he's fired
Skill not luck
Honored Brady for a HoF career in the NFL at this game and he then won 3 more Super Bowls afterwards

A tad disheartening to see our defense allow a 70-yard TD bomb from a guy with one working leg.
Kid played his heart out tho, one of the rare breeds that show up on the biggest stage
Brian Nimer And then his backup (who was awful vs. Michigan -- but, they didn't gameplan around him, obviously), promptly goes out and beats Oregon on their home turf. Wow.
17:28 "There's a jockstrap laying right down there on the 15..." LOL savage announcer
Man, that first quarter was UGLY, nice come back though!
Awesome job Blue!〽
the end of september!

they never stopped Colorado's qb while he was healthy. they couldn't even stop him while he was hurt
