What's crazy is that your description of Skattebo is exactly what everyone said about Pat Tillman. He was "too slow, too small" for the NFL and ended up mostly as a Strong Safety in the NFL but he always gave you 100% every play/game. It makes sense that Cam played for ASU - Tillman U.
Texas needs a true fullback. Somebody who’s 6’1” 250 pounds and just loves to hit people. Not asking Sark to throw out the wide zone but add some smash mouth football to the arsenal. Helm and Davis are Ok blockers but they’re better used on pass routes. A FB would provide better blocking for the run game and better blitz pick ups for Ewers.
I've been with PFF on so much of its Texas analysis, but the one gap & why I think Ohio State should be a big favorite is I think PFF may have grossly overrated Texas' offensive line this year.
I don't know what criteria you use in your player grading system but you should ditch it because there is no way that Matthew Golden had a better game than Cam Skattebo.
@@TheFlyrodder68 I do ignore them. Texas was the one team that I didn't want to face in the playoffs because their defense scared me. Respect to the Longhorns and beat OSU!
@@Ziffel22@Ziffel22 I was impressed with ASU's resiliency, hunger, tenacity, and toughness. Scattebo was the MVP of that game. Texas played sloppy with so many penalties. Texas was fortunate to escape with a win. ASU's future is bright with your young coach.
No one associated with the Texas team should celebrate. Laying down every time you get a lead should be embarrassing. Your confidence is false and you better get serious or Ohio State is going to embarrass the hell out of you.
What if Shamari Simmons didn’t have to sit out because of the questionable targeting against ISU
OR ... what if the helmet to helmet no call on Texas on ASUs final drive was actually called?

The 4th And 13 was the play.
There's no OT if they call the targeting like they should have
There's no OT if they call DB targeting on Isaiah Bond
Yep that felt like ASU's last chance
@@DrewGalyenthere’s no tying the game if they call the targeting hit on Bond like they should have
How does the team with the weaker squad and the best player not have the highest rated player 🤯

Texas RB1 (6 1 220) got injured in training camp and was out for the whole season
Was this the best bowl game of the year so far?
@1:40 how would this game have gone if CJ Baxter was healthy? If Isaiah Bond was 100%?

What if Texas had their starting RBs?
Wouldn’t have mattered.
ASU Stonewalled Texas run game
Or their starting right tackle (a likely first round pick). Or a healthy #1 receiver. C’mon?
@@pinchevulpes you weren’t stonewalling CJ Baxter. lol Wisner and Blue are good, but Baxter is the starter for a reason

Thought this was a review of the game instead of a hard on session of the losing RB. My bad

Go watch any major sports network, you'll find what you're looking for. Especially ESECPN
Almost like he was the best player of that entire game
