  • Testing out my Woods grading scraper on my 1/4 mile long gravel driveway. Im told this is the best tool for grooming stone. Lets see if its worth the hype. Also getting some help from the Keystone Girl to make the video a little more entertaining.

    Worth every penny imo! My big money maker! I try to explain to people the difference but when i'm done they are always amazed! Yes that is definately a woods grader.

    I have no problems admitting that the bikini clickbait brought me here.

    I got the same scraper in WOODS brand traditional yellew. Love it for a gravel driveway. Rarely use my grader blade or box blade on the driveway anymore.

    That grader works great! saving lots of left over wire and cable from your jobs I see. Keystone girl does a great job as well. thanks Kyle.

    I really wanted one of those and should have bought it a year ago because now they are around $2500.00. I shouldn't have waited. Great video as always. With the price of scrap wire these days you should make it petty good on those two pallets.

      They are nice to have. Takes no time to get the drive tuned up. Ya i need to strip it and take it in. Thanks for the comment Bill. Have a great 4th!

      Ya no problem. Glad you enjoyed it. Its right at a 1/4 mile. I cut that in by myself when i built my house and layed geo-textile fabric under the whole thing. It was awful

    It's really made to be used on the RIGHT side of the drive. Not on the LEFT. That, so the angled blades can move material to the middle, creating that crown that takes water off to the edge, and beyond.

      I know. I explained in the video you can use it to push the material either way. My driveway is thin on the edges. Thats why i ran it that way.

    Get the same results from a box blade if you know what you're doing.. and won't pay up the nose

    You can buy a good welder and all the tools and materials to make this simple attachment for 1k-2k less

      I just bought a cs2220 and seeing what’s better to purchase grading scraper or box blade?

    • @SpicerDesignsLLC
      @SpicerDesignsLLC  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@richtq3770 i really like the scraper. I dont have much experience with the box blade though. Id imagine once you get used to either one it wouldnt matter a whole lot. I prefer the scraper.

      I've had zero problems with my ck35 or dk60...I guess I should have spent more money to do the exact same thing. Stoopid me.
