Hahaha. That sums up what was supposed to be the franchise finale in a nutshell. It is the best and absolutely goofiest Metal Gear Solid in the franchise. I'm still glad I experienced this absolute rollercoaster ride of an entry fresh when I finally got a PS3 at the time.
Apparently the ending Kojima originally fucked around with had Snake and Otacon do everything the exact same except instead of getting to live out their days, they get court martialed by the U.S. government and killed by firing squad to cover up the last vestiges of info on the patriots. That man really didnt want more sequels 😂

I don’t know about you guys but u guys should try metal gear rising, such a beautiful game and ofc its not a stealth game and more of a hack and slash game but you still could do stealth. And I feel like mgr should get a sequel but idk what happened it’s been years, no remaster no remake no nothing…..😢
Metal Gear Solid is my favorite game series of all time and MGS4 is the best of all for me. It's been a while since I've seen someone have so much fun and excitement over this game. Watching your videos I was able to relive those same feelings as you. Congratulations for this great content!

It was always Ocelot since MGS2. The Liquid “persona” was just Ocelot and the grafting of Liquid’s arm was just a ruse from the start. The entire “Liquid’s personality taking over Ocelot’s mind through the arm transplant” was just a prank gone too far on the Patriot’s end. (Correction) The MGS2 statement was actually somehow him being possessed 🗿 because of The Sorrow. But it was his decision to make his ruse more plausible later down towards the events of 2 to 4.
I think the first possession was legit. Ocelots father was a spirit medium so it tracks and his voice actually changed in 2. He also had Liquid's arm originally but didn't have it in 4, so he got rid of it. Why get rid of it unless it actually did something?

I don't care what anyone says, the final battle in this game was freaking legendary especially if you've played all the other games up to this point. Nostalgic overload was in full effect when they replayed those iconic battle themes from the previous games.
Big Boss and the gang (except Zero) thought they'd be leaving the world in a better place once they all died. MGR Revengeance showed otherwise. It remained the same and in some aspect, became even more bonkers.
The way I view it is that when Liquid Snake voice actor speaks it is the real Liquid speaking but when Liquid Ocelot speaks with Ocelot's voice actor it is just Ocelot pretending to be Liquid.
This had to be on of the most satisfying boss fights in all my years of gaming. And the conclusion to this saga as far as I’m concerned. MGS4 will pull out all your feels and stomp on them 😂 Man I loved this game. Glad you got to play it

I red this article once where the author explained why on earth he completed mgs4 about 40 times.. the emblems! Gotta catch ‘em all! One is literally’play for 30h’ so he just hid somewhere and left the console on for a day and a half.. Another one called ‘the rabbit’ is obtained by flipping at least 100 pages in a nudie magazine 😂
The ending really messed me up. If you get a chance listen to “When Heavens Divide” by Donna Burke as a tribute to Big Boss. If you’re a true MGS fan and played the entire franchise that video will really tangle with your soul lol
Liquid died mgs1, this liquid ocelot was just ocelot fooling everyone……ocelot’s plan was too from the very beginning…..ocelot is the best double agent in gaming history…….this game is THEE best game series ever made, personally I don’t know any other game that connects so well and complements its previous story to continue an even better story
The thing with Ocelot is that he is simultaneously the most disloyal and loyal character in the series. once you figure him out his presence is a walking spoiler that he is going to betray whoever he is working for but at the same time, post 3 he is entirely loyal to big boss the entire time.
also one thing I see as important that people didnt mention about the chronology, there's also Portable Ops which is set in between 3 and Peace Walker and has some pretty important info, I'd recommend watch a story recap before jumping into PW, though many many people didnt yet they had a good time with PW, its your choice after all!
@ I imagine most are inherited from random other languages mixing. Like if someone from a language that pronounces W as double V instead of double U, “VViliam” “VVill” sounds close to Bill. Or some French guy was First named Jean Jacques Something and was tired of people pronouncing his name wrong “just call me John or Jack”, Jean Jacques or John Jacob Whatever being a common first name/middle name combo. Or some community had trouble pronouncing Rs in Rickard so instead of Rick said Dick.
Gameplay wise, mgs5 is such a bliss. But since the rip between Kojima and Konami got worse, it’s hard to enjoy it as much as the other ones. Just feels a but pushed, and not as goofie and cheesy like these
i don't understand why you have joy seing someone who dies in front of you, even if it's a video game, watching zero dying with those flashbacks made me think back in the days, zero maybe loved naked snake in other ways of love like naked snake for the boss, it's not a simple love, it's a complex and dramatic love that push the world to the ruin, when bb said '' his sins was ours '' it's because they realise to late what he wanted to do and the wrong way he goes, they've tried to save him and with it the future, but everyone mind and real goals was lost in this war so yeah, being happy while zero dying in front of you is disrespectful, not only for that amazing saga, but only for your ownself...i feel terribly loss for you, hope you'll realise what i am saying later
