      Its a catch style “parry” so hes rooted down when it makes contact.

      It’s just meant to absorb the force and maybe leave it off course

      There's a video where andrew tate (I know I know) explains that you don't need to much force to throw a punch off it's course, it's just a tap, it's a matter of timing.

    thats not a parry that’s a catch, a parry deflects the power/momentum
