In this video 4 Corner head coach John Gillies (alongside the equally brilliant pro fighter Ian Gibson), he talks about one way he likes to coach parrying the rear straight when sparring or fighting.
Enjoy the fantastic coaching on display and then make sure you smash the follow button on John, Ian, 4 Corner Boxing, Team Kaobon and Gambaru across all social media today 🔥🤯🥋😍

How u parry a right hand coming at full force though
Its a catch style “parry” so hes rooted down when it makes contact.
It’s just meant to absorb the force and maybe leave it off course
There's a video where andrew tate (I know I know) explains that you don't need to much force to throw a punch off it's course, it's just a tap, it's a matter of timing.
Very risky with a heavy rear hand punch
I wouldnt try this against a larger person, your wrist will hurt like fuck
thats not a parry that’s a catch, a parry deflects the power/momentum
