I think she should talk herself what is coming up and what has supposed to do before her get there That might help her better if she do that then her won’t get confused.. That what I done with my driving lessons because I was like her. I started talk to myself what I meant to do next and what I have to do and that did help me a lot. I hope that makes sense
Phoebe has a heart of gold and she will definitely be ready after the polish... great awareness of hazards and great control of the car! I like good people.
At the age of 50, I took it upon myself to hold a UK driving licence. I have never driven before until this year in March. I was determined and took my driving test without any mock test. I am here to thank @DGN for this wonderful channel. I purchased your Ultimate driving course, which helped me massively. I passed my driving test with 2 minors. Lastly Pheobe is definitely ready. Good luck all those who have upcoming tests.
Good luck! I just had mine on Monday and passed. Just make conversation with your examiner and take slow deep breaths if you’re feeling anxious. Take your time and you’ll do great.
I also got my first test next Tuesday after 40 hours of driving, I really hope I pass. I been watching so many youtube videos on routes for my test centre 😂
I believe she'll be ready in a few weeks time.. doing the same route definitely helped her a bit, but her overall driving standard and awareness are at a pretty high level.
Just wanted to say thank you immensely to DGN Driving's videos. Just passed my test first try with 0 faults. I'm absolutely over the moon, these videos have helped immensely!
Passed my driving test on Monday at one of the hardest test centres in my area with only 1 minor! It was pouring down too 😢 Appreciate everything Pin your videos have helped me massively, probably more than my lessons to be honest.
On the whole Phoebe's driving is good. When she makes a minor mistake rather than dwell on it which i think she does from time to time just reset and move on. I would say 1 more mock then go for it.
I’ve got plenty driving experience internationally. Terrains and maneuvering is much tougher there. Still I knew i’d fail easily if I didnt know the nitty gritties of rules here. I didn’t want to take any lessons because I could really experience what the driver sees in your videos. Passed today Alhamdulillah. Thank you for such marvelous work!
I agree her hazard perception is excellent. Following signs and/or directions at round abouts might catch her out on a test. She needs a few lessons on taking certain exits on roundabouts. Its something all drivers have to be able to do before taking your test. She has come leaps and bounds from the last video. If she can nail down them roundabouts i think she would ace a test.
I always feel for anyone taking their test. I was so nervous on mine my legs were shaking. The examiner was so kind though and really put me at ease. I ended up passing with just 25 hours of lessons, that was a few decades ago now. I think I’m lucky though as I had a head start, my Mum would let me drive the car on our private land as soon as I could reach the pedals.
Just passed today with 3 minors, took all this time to realise that it is all in the mind. To anyone with a test coming up, don't worry you're a better driver than you think 📈
Started learning about the same time as pheobe, and passed just over 2 weeks ago 🎉 just bought a car today.. I passed in a manual but bought an auto, and wow, I'm so glad I did, way less anxiety! For reference, I'm 30 with 2 kids, so I'm a super nervous driver 😅 thanks for all the videos... they helped so much 🫡
She’s test ready. Observations and awareness are excellent. She’s great at changing her speed and steering to suit the situation. I would prefer she was more specific with her indicators, as in only signalling if there is someone to signal to, not just routinely putting the indicator on every time she pulls away, turns, or changes lanes. The specific or necessary signalling method maintains high standards of observation and helps dissuade routine ‘auto pilot’ driving style that is so dangerously prevalent.
I find Phoebe's general level of control very impressive. Clutch control, gears, braking, accelerating and steering she is at a good level. She is missing some small details which usually comes with experience. I think she is ready.
I have my test this Saturday. Already done a bunch of mock tests with my instructor and passed them all so I can only hope that my nerves don't get to me on the actual one!
Just passed my test this morning, 3 minors. It goes by so so fast. two things I recommend is just be excessive with your mirrors and use your toes on pedals rather than simply your feet, scrunching your toes into a ball has much more finesse to fine tune smooth braking etc. Phoebe have the mindset that you're going to pass if it takes 10 goes so there's no point worrying and that might get you through earlier. These videos really helped me a lot as they let me see mistakes, mistakes are a big part of learning! Thanks a lot.
My first test is tomorrow, I’ve been learning since January so basically along side Phoebe so I’ve really enjoyed these videos and have related a lot to Phoebe over the months, hopefully I’ll be watching the next one as a full license holder🤞🏼😅 She is definitely almost there if not already😊
That was a much better drive! I think Phoebe is very close to being ready for the real McCoy (although a proper mock test with no feedback during the drive might be a good idea - sorry Pin, you'd have to do some VO and editing 😛). Phoebe's awareness, observations and general attentiveness are really good. I think she'll pass first time.
With the waiting list Phoebe should definitely put in for her test. The 1 minor for judgement pulling out on the roundabout I got a serious for on my test.
I'd say one more mock test and she would be ready for the actual test, all she has to do is realize her wrong doings and not blame herself over the most simple mistakes everyone else makes.
Yes if she had her test in 3 weeks she can pass . Provided she has 4 lessons with 1 just before test and is able to get daily practice with ancompied driver for an hour she will pass . Her only weakness is understanding what others are doing around her at times and understanding how what she does affects others. Her weakness with daily practice will improve and their is no reason she isn't capable of passing I can see.
She's definitely ready to try a real test. Some of the marking there is hard and for her general learning which I understand. I think she would have a 70% chance of passing a real test in two weeks. No one is >90% on their first test. I think the talking also distracts her.
I wouldn’t say she’s ready at the moment but she just needs to understand who has priority on the road, as that will influence her decisions and stop her from making mistakes and be more predicatable and confident. She’s not far away at all just needs some extra practice and learning on this area
I think phoebe is nearly ready, just has to be slightly more aware of junctions like the one she got the serious fault for, plus the junction turning right for Walsall traffic lights for a 2nd time. and the round-about with the car already commited to the round-about. that said it is a lot better than most people you see on the road these days, like following one car yesterday doing all the things a novice driver does without an instructor but without holding a full licence either. over reaction, jumping lanes without notice, nearly crashing into other cars because following way too close and not reacting to their positioning in the road. the good thing would be if they do have a serious accident because they had a dashcam fitted!! so all the driving the police would need to throw the book at them for dangerous driving.
1st mock test i got 3 minor and 2 serious, couple weeks later I pass test with just 3 minor so don't beat yourself up about it and just know the test goes way faster than you can imagine.
I think she should talk herself what is coming up and what has supposed to do before her get there That might help her better if she do that then her won’t get confused..
