Happy New Year! My dear friend! You trekked while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Sweden's Sarek National Park! Thanks to you, I had a great time looking around the national park, which retains almost the beauty of nature! Great sharing, my friend! Hello! Greetings again from 100tour KOREA! Stay in touch, my dear friend! See you! Have a beautiful day!
Hello my outdoors friend, greetings from California, USA. Thank you for sharing this beautifully filmed video. Awesome scenery in your video. I just came across your channel today. The very best to you in this new year. Be safe out there and always have fun. 🤗
Looks like a very challenging and fun time. Thanks for sharing, this is right up our alley, Subbed you my friend. Thanks again and have a blessed week Dale
Sweden TH-cam Creator... I've been seeing the scenery around Sweden through Erik Nomark, and the more I watch Swedish Natural Landscape through this video, the more attractive and wonderful it is. Especially, The scene where the reindeer are grazing is really nice. Thank you for nice video. :) Best wishes to you from Korea.
Gorgeous surreal video, thx so much for sharing. I was looking at another route more or less the same but continuing from Luohotto to Parek via Rapa Valley. I like the scenery in Noaj but where did you descend from Luohttolahko to Noaj? Can you provide route tracks? Thx so much for posting. At 10:18 are you still on the plateau?
Hi.Thank you very much for the nice comment.Over the years I have hiked 9 times in Sarek NP. It is such an amazing place to visit. At 10.18 we are still on the plateau. We climb up from Sarvesvagge from the Hut and cros Luohtolahko rigth south.Descend west of river Skajdasjjåhkå to Njoatsosvagge. From here there are a ok trail to Pårek.Hope you can use the info.Have a great hike and week ahead.Søren.
great video. do u also have a webpage? im visiting here in august and will be my first time in the arctic circle and am trying to get as much imformation about the sarek as possible
Beautiful land while being deadly at the same time . I would not want to be caught out there during a freak storm . Have traveled and hunted in Finland , but never Sweden . Those Caribou are so wonderful and healthy . I have spent the last three nights in a canyon on my land in New Mexico USA . Mountain lions calling to each other all night long . It has been a mild winter for them and they are already looking for mates . All the best to you Eventryrsoren Denmark .
Thank you very much.So nice you can hear Mountain lions all night long.Love to see one some day ! Maybe this year ? I going to hike Pacific Crest Trail this summer,Starting April 4.Hope to see some wildlife when Im there. ATB Soren.
Yeah you need to be careful in the scandinavian mountains in late fall and winter . There was a storm about 1 month ago i think where it was blowing 50m per second.
Thanks a lot !!! Glad you enjoyed it.The exact route is at the text at the video, starting at Akka but you need a map before all the names make any sence.the map for Sarek it BD 10.ATB Soren
Great. Thx so much for the info. How was the climb up to luhottolahko? I have your route mapped out. You are the person to go to when it comes to Sarek. Do you mind if i ask for advice? I've done the Nordkalloteden from Kilpisjarvi to Abisko and the Kungsleden from Abisko to Kvikkjok. Loved both, im returning August 16 hoping to see some of the things i missed and to get into Sarek. Im traveling alone. Experienced but not too much off trail. Not a lover of river crossings but i had no problems last year. Ive been researching lots of routes from the off trail valleys around Nikaluootka across to Ritsem via the Nkl and from Norway, Rango NP to Padjelanta south into Sarek. Im looking for an easier route through Sarek, if you can call anything easier. Originally I was looking into this route from Ritsem to luohttolahko and out following Rapadalen. th-cam.com/video/ihsf8nmCLow/w-d-xo.html Your route seems a bit easier to me as the main valleys you use seem a bit wider with less vegetation than Rapadahlen. Rapa looks incredible but im slow, i spend a lot of time taking pictures and in general take my time. For me being able to see the views up on luohttolahko would be the highlight of my trip, if that was the only thing i accomplished it'd be a success. Last year the weather was bad so i didnt get a chance to see the views from skierffe or the view from Parte. It looks like i could possibly do all of that or at least Parte and luohttolahko while crossing Sarek IF the weather was good. Have you been to the summit of Parte? It looks like the best views for the effort in involved. Im not a technical climber or a good scrambler. How much time would it add to make the trip up? I watched another video by Norwegian Explorer, he went to an alternative viewpoint of The Rapa delta by veering off the Kungsleden south of Aktse and climbing up Bagevarasj and Vajggantjahka. Have you done that? th-cam.com/video/VOUmQ6nk4v4/w-d-xo.html If so what did you think? How long do you think it would take to hike there from Parte ascent point and on to the Kungsleden? Im sorry for the long post. It's been incredible researching all of this. So much to see. Im thrilled just to know what's in Sarek and environs. Thx for everything...
I was imagining what the conversation between my twin brother Paul and I might be like if he were still here. It was an epic conversation as we hiked and camped as you are doing now. Awesome time out. Mark
