Beautiful video with wonderful images, which were edited in a very professional way. The vastness of the landscape is very well shown here thanks to the well-chosen camera angles. One of the better Sarek video's on TH-cam.
Beautiful video! - really appreciated the shots of wild flowers, along with their names. I have hiked in this region myself - watching this brings back memories. When we were there we shared the landscape with roaming herds of reindeer! On a technical note - I’d be very interested in knowing what you wear on your feet when crossing streams? Whatever you do, it looks like it works - I don’t think we ever solved this problem satisfactorily! (Fortunately, we didn’t cross too many streams, but when we did, it was a bit of challenge). Hope to go back one day…
TQ for your kind feedback 🙏🏼 I used Skinners sock shoes, which I find to be good for crossing rivers. However, I've found out that AFTER a crossing, they're quite slow to dry (in the outside mesh pocket of my backpack), thus a bit heavy to carry around. So, I'm considering changing to a pair of ultralight mesh shoes instead. Happy Hiking!
Beautiful video, did a part of Kungsleden from Saltoluokta to Kvikkjokk, then tha Padjelantaleden till Ritsem, to get familiar with the conditions, before hiking in Sarek. Had a little 2 days trip into Sarek, from Gisuris, passing the Kisuriskotan heading towards Rutosvagge. I feel ready for a proper Sarek hike, maybe on your route? Still a year time to make up my mind! Thanks for the nice content!
@@soehikes7667 TQ for your kind feedback 🙏🏼 It was my 1st time in Sarek so I chose the 'classic route' Aktse - Akka/Ritsem (in my case, from S to N). Whichever one you choose, Good Luck!
Thanks, this brings back memories. I walked roughly the same route in 2019 (also made a video). It was nice to identify the plants and animals! I also had a ptarmigan (?) mother run away from me on a trail in Rapadalen, probably it was trying to lure me away from its nest. I failed to get it on film, but you succeeded 😂
TQ for your kind comment 🙏🏼 I'll later check out your video 👍🏻 Actually, out of several sudden 'encounters', that was the only Ptarmigan I at all managed to capture on video 🙂 (I was on MANUAL focus and was too slow when it started running away, so was first thinking I'll exclude that clip due to partially out-of-focus, but eventually included it anyway)
Beautiful shots of your epic journey!! Especially that last one on the ledge waving goodbye! New subscriber looking forward to more! How much food did you have to pack for 8 days?
Thank you! 🙏🏼 Basically, I carried: * 8 breakfasts, each 3 slices of bread + cheese + ham. * 9 lunches, each a "Varma Koppen" soup (powder) + some bread or snacks. * 9 dinners, each a freeze-dried food portion. My food bag weighed ~3.3kg. I'll upload an Iceland (Westfjords & Hornstrandir) video in a few days, then some days after that another video from "Jämtlandstriangeln" in Sweden. Cheers!
Fin film! Tack för att du lägger ut.
Tack för din feedback! 🙏🏼
Wow, so much beauty!
TQ! 👍🏻
A beautiful part of our planet it is, and next summer I'll prob hike another part of Sarek, let's see.. 😊
Stunning. Thank you for sharing.
TQ! 🙏🏼
Virkelig nogle fantastiske optagelser fra din vandretur!
Tackar! 🙏🏼
Fantastisk film! Lågmäld och mäktig på samma gång. Tycker om att du visar all den djur och växt-rikedom som finns även där.
Tackar så mycket! 🙏🏼
Mesmerizing. Watching this video it felt as if I walked with you every moment of your hike. Very nicely presented divine experience.

Such amazing beauty! Planning my first trip there for next summer. Can’t wait!
All the best for your hike there next summer!🙏🏼
What a beautiful hike and so many wild flowers, not something we have here although we have a lot of native flowering trees and shrubs. Cheers Chris .
Cheers! 🍻

Vi träffades på cykelstigen, det var en underbar tur du gjorde, och en fantastisk video 👍
Javisst gjorde vi. Stort tack för din kommentar! 🙏

@@retireeinthewild-5905 usually ptarmigans just wait until the last moment and then fly away....hard birds to photograph.
@exposedpaths Indeed they do, and this was the only encounter in which I managed to 'freeze' the moment I saw it 😊
Amazing journey Inge! Are you sure you can go back to hiking in Kiara with us? :)
TQ Jess! 🙏🏼 Actually look fwd to 'bukit leisure' hikes followed by yummy makan! 😋

Hello! Very nice vidéo!! Possible to know which backpack did you use for this trip ?
TQ Jacques 🙏🏼
I used my Zpacks Arc Blast 55L, with added pouches on my shoulder pads, as well as added camera clips (Peak Design) on my hip belt.
