Do you prefer using an electric skillet to the stovetop? It's a long time since I've had an electric skillet and am wondering if I should think about getting one again.
Yum! I can tell you have access to a lot of your cookbooks. I cherish mine so much that I keep all my food or anything potentially messy FAR FAR away from my wonderful cookbooks. ;) I'm always so nervous that you will get food on them. This is a great recipe (the first one), by the way. So far, we have loved ALL of the recipes we have made.
@@countrygal3688 I actually found a book holder with an acrylic shield over it on Amazon. Pretty cool. Most of the time, I just put the recipe up on my huge computer screen. But when the power is out, I use the books. Great idea, though!

Yes it holds more, is easier to clean and cooks more evenly.

LOL well....I do get them messy. It is time a new one for the show since this one is a couple years old with a LOT of cooking done out of it.
@@supereasyrecipe Maybe someone should invent a cookbook "apron" or see through sleeve to protect them when we are cooking or baking.
@@dkaysette Get a piece of plexiglass to lay over the book when using it.
