Your Fukuoka travel vlog beautifully captures the essence of the city, from delicious ramen to serene spots like Dazaifu Shrine-truly inspiring and enjoyable to watch! Fyi.
In the train station at Fukuoka, there is an amazing sushi bar right next to an amazing Korean barbecue chicken place. Fukuoka, it's a great place to eat and if you just got a little bit further south to Kumamoto, you would've experienced some amazingly beautiful places, incredible food, and onsen. There is a cave in kumamoto where Musashi lived, and it's really incredible. Thanks for the fun video.
I am super curious to explore the rest of Kyushu including Kumamoto! It looks beautiful Do you happen to remember the name of the sushi bar and/or Korean restaurant at the station?
You mentioned “very quiet” a few times.. that sums it up! That’s why I prefer Hakata/Kyushu and Yamaguchi areas over Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka areas.. Hakata has been a second home for me and my wife.. we were there March/April both 2023 and 2024.. sakura goodness😊… great vid🥰
Oh wow I’d love to see Fukuoka in cherry blossom season 🤩 It does seem like a less crazy area of Japan than Kyoto and Tokyo. I can’t wait to explore that part of Japan more
@@Sunny_in_Japan I was surprised and happy Whith your answer! From the other side of this planet i whatch your vídeos. You are indeed a person of light.Arigatô!
I’ve been living 4 years behind that best coffee….but I’ve never been…always smelled the coffee on my way home… Next time you come back, if you want drinking places…let me know. Plus across the street from the university library with the Sazae statue, is a pretty good izakaya called, Jagaimo. I made a reservation for 6 people, we got a HUGE tatami room…it had, IMHO, the best karaage.
Lovely video again you two. I visited Dazaifu 40 years ago. Of course the main structure is the same and the Bull was there too :) It's nice to see how it has changed though. Thanks for showing a bit of the festivals . They do have a wonderful vibe and the sound of the Semi ( cicada ) too. I loved how their sound changed through the summer. . Don't the Japanese package everything so beautifully. I always felt bad if I ripped the paper raping. I wish now I had visited Fukuoka more .It was were I arrived in Japan and I only went there to do official stuff like extend Visa's and the like. They're big on Sumo there too . If you had gone there at the time of the championships I think it would have been a lot busier. Thanks again for your hard work and sharing. 🙏
Maybe 2 or 3? We sectioned off the whole afternoon for dazaifu because it takes a while to get there and there’s a lot of street food, which I think was a good call.
@@Sunny_in_Japan It looks superrrrrrrr! I am thinking of going there Mid Aug to end of Sep. Would you be able to advice if that's a good good period and if there are Matsuris still in that perido. Would really appreciate any recs . I am looking forward to Fukuoka it seems like it's a second Busan.
I totally enjoyed this upload. If you think 37 degrees C is hot, my brother in Aichi told me that they were having 39 degrees C days now. As for " the Japanese squat vs Slavic squat", what you did is generally called "うんこ座り” (at least where I grew up = Aichi). So you are an Aussie person of Slavic origin, then, Albanian or etc.? Looking forward to your future uploads! Take care!
Well done video, made me want to visit Fukuoka. Two observations: you must have coffee flowing through your veins and you kinda look like Greta Thunberg. 😉
Eating at Ichiran in Fukuoka is not recommended at all. It's the capital of tonkotsu ramen don't eat at a chain people! Go to individual ramen restaurant instead. Icharin is all over Japan anyway

Really enjoy the sound of thins around, the sound of Japan.^___^
Thank you so much Sunny and Mr.K for this VDO trip.
Something about the sound of cicadas just oozes Japanese summer ☀️

Thanks for the tip on Momochihama Beach! We were looking exactly for this! 🙌🏽
I’m so glad it was useful! 😊
Ohhh my gosh!, I was there the beach and Ohori Park in 2017😊😊😊...
Love your music selection! 🤩❤️ Where can i find those?
Artlist 🙂
you were a hard working traveler.
yep, another amazing video :D

Fukuoka really is an amazing place - I wish I had been able to spend longer there. Can’t wait to go back!
Greetings! enjoyed! you shared breathtaking shots- Sunny,😲
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed ☺️
how many hours did you spend in Daizafu?
Maybe 2 or 3? We sectioned off the whole afternoon for dazaifu because it takes a while to get there and there’s a lot of street food, which I think was a good call.

which time of the month you went?

I had a few licks and then gave it to my husband 😁 🍦
