What up Brian. Don't ya know it. If you need something from the shed, its always way back in. Hmmmm time to think about a door on the other end?? Carpet!!! Saweeeeet. Its lookin good. A lot of hard work paying off. Give lots of love to Patina.
Nothing in life i perfect bro I should know i am a prime example, anyhoo it is looking real tidy like that. All the best. 82f here today and very very muggy
Looking good Brian. With the pads put in as well it should be nice and quiet. Love the cameo patina puts in . Are you going to mop the paint? Or leave as original look. Great vid by the way
@@vwnut1967 no worries bri. I have been watching mustie for a couple of yrs and seen you on his channel on and of for ages. I love your vids and your style of channel. Wiĺ always watch you mate. Thanks for replying
I see a lot of weather headed your way. I see you are prepared. Take care. I'm not afraid of installing carpet. I have a question. Would it be worthwhile to put insulation on the front "firewall" and on the top off the front footwells ? Just curious. My 1976 Seville had carpet everywhere, even in the trunk lid. I really liked the way it looked. Patina is such a sweetheart. Thanks for sharing
Looks nice! What year carpet kit did you order. I'm trying to decide if having the extra bump in the heater channels is going to affect the kit when I order.
I think with the opening shot, it could have been named "Bugs on a Rug or Rugs on a Bug", too clickbaity? Looking good so far, one exception, not enough hanging stuff from the rafters in the sheds for the fans with OCD. Back at you Patina.
I'm not a Beetle person but are the heater channels functional? I noticed that there were no openings in the channel to match the small carpet windows for the foot warmers. A couple of hits with a 1" hole saw would cure that. I don't think I have OCD but I would have stripped and resound proofed the tunnel before fitting the carpet. It would have made it smoother.
Everyone should visit the 22kill.com website. I visited just prior to Thanksgiving. I then started posting a link in some of my social media. Then 2 days before Christmas a new friend ended his life. He was a 24 yo vet out about a year. He was renting a room from a friend. I would encourage anyone with a friend who is a vet to open a dialogue. Some may only need you to ask how they are doing to change their course. If not for this channel I would not have been aware. Thank you Brian.
thank you. it is a important to me that more people are aware of the tragic unacceptable number of veterans that have serious problems. thank you for always being here
