If I was a game studio, I would be very worried about why the consultation company I'm working with wants to keep it a secret that we worked together. Art teams do REFERENCES and mood boards as standard for concept art, there is also legal and “cultural” implications of getting “historically accurate” games wrong also. Artist aren’t given the ability to just do whatever they like, they are managed for a reason to keep environments and the art style consistent. If society creates a group of "privileged people", everyone will want to be a part of it. People will buy expensive things they can't afford just to project an image of status and wealth. Likewise, these people created conditions to "grow" their numbers, just to project an image of social and political relevancy. They took over mainstream news and social media so they could control "the narrative" and frame things in a way that benefits their agenda.
They are a social minority but if you were to listen to the news channels, you would think they are everywhere and all-powerful. This is deliberate, to make you think you're becoming irrelevant and powerless. It's a tactic to control and brainwash public perception.
actions have consequences, the gaming industry has preached at and ignored gamers for years. we are voting with our wallets and actively boycotting games that promote "the message" or an "agenda". we are tired of the overhyped mediocre and subpar games the industry has given us and now studios are suffering the consequences. the industry has the power to push an agenda or promote a message, where you EFFed up was,,, we have what you want, MONEY!
